Detached 4-bedroom house close to beach and town with beautiful private garden.
Maison individuelle accueillante située dans un endroit calme, proche de la plage et en retrait de la route (allée privée pour trois voitures). Jardin subtropical privé, orienté plein sud et sécurisé, avec une vue imprenable sur l'estuaire. Patio avec barbecue et mobilier d'extérieur. Pelouse supérieure et descend vers une grande pelouse inférieure nivelée (assez grande pour jouer au badminton!).
En face d'un pub local calme et à quelques pas de la ville de Hayle pour les magasins. Supermarchés, restaurants, gare, terrain de loisirs / aire de jeux d'aventure et autres commodités à distance de marche. La belle plage est à seulement 15 minutes à pied à travers des ruelles privées et des dunes herbeuses; les 3 miles de plage de sable doux ont de l'eau potable pour la baignade (pas de roches ou de courants) et sont rarement occupés. Il offre une vue magnifique sur St Ives et le phare de Godrevy et de belles promenades le long de Gwithian. Patrouillée par des sauveteurs pendant les mois d'été, la plage est idéale pour tous les sports nautiques, en particulier le surf.
La maison est dans un emplacement idéal pour explorer tout ce que Cornwall a à offrir: de superbes promenades côtières, des plages isolées, des propriétés du National Trust et d'autres attractions à proximité. Paradise Park est à moins d'1,6 km. La maison est parfaite pour les familles ou les groupes d'adultes qui souhaitent se détendre et se relaxer dans cette belle partie du monde.
Nous nous efforçons toujours de rendre la maison accueillante et confortable pour nos familles en visite et nos invités. L'année dernière, nous avons rénové trois des quatre salles de bains, ajouté de nouveaux canapés dans le salon, installé un nouveau patio et installé un tout nouveau four. Nous avons également récemment remplacé toutes les clôtures et installé une nouvelle chaudière. Toutes les chambres ont été récemment redécorées et recouvertes de moquette. La cuisine est équipée de tout le confort moderne pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous. La maison a une allée privée qui s'adapte facilement à deux voitures, trois si bien garée.
Nous sommes très fiers de notre jardin que nous perfectionnons depuis 8 ans; avec un mélange de plantes indigènes et semi-tropicales, il devrait toujours y avoir quelque chose en fleur toute l'année. Les enfants devraient particulièrement profiter de la pelouse inférieure sécurisée et privée pour jouer au football, au badminton ou simplement courir!

We had the most fabulous stay at Julie’s place. The garden is stunning and perfect for the kids, very spacious house with everything we could have possibly needed. Fabulously located for the beach ( a beautiful beach)/ shops.. bucket of blood pub over the road does great food.. park in walking distance and an outdoor swimming pool.

When we arrived the house was clean and tidy the gardens are amazing and well kept. The house has all a family with children could need. Our boys lived the attic bedrooms and myself and partner had the master bedroom our girls had the other twin room and there was plenty of room for our family of 7 the house was perfect the location was amazing we had the most amazing week and the host was great with a small issue that cropped up and with in 24 hours it was resolved an and had no effect on our stay at all

Nice house, plenty of room, well equipped, very nice large garden, close to shopping, easy access to A30 for exploration of the area, short walk to a gorgeous beach, even shorter walk to a very fine pub!
The only thing that could use a bit of improvement is the mattresses. They are a bit thin and lumpy for senior folks, kids might not notice.

Good sized house which suited our needs, walks to the beach nearby & good driving distance to points of interest
Our only problem was checking in as the access code we were sent didn't work, we didn't have phone coverage or wifi to call anyone, luckily a neighbour we asked knew a maintenance person so he was able to supply the correct code. That was stressful! In the house description it says there is a dryer but there isnt. Otherwise everything was fine.

House as described, lots of space for family of four (boys aged 14 and 11).
Unfortunately weather wasn’t kind so we didn’t get to use the wonderful garden.
Great location to explore the area with the wonderful 3 mile beach only 15 min walk away.
Bucket of Blood is on the doorstep, lovely old pub with good food.
Would recommend and look to return.

A spacious 1920s Art Deco influenced home. Modernised to a high standard. The garden uses Cornish climate to provide views from all rooms of sub tropical planting; not to be found elsewhere in U K. Planting also provides complete privacy.

We had a great stay at this house over the past week, we didnt want to go home. The house is lovely, very light and spacious and well equipped with all the necessary bits that you can find at home, great garden, well situated for exploring west cornwall, and very close to absolutely stunning Hayle Towans beach. Unfortunately the weather was against us this past week and wasnt great but couldnt fault the house. We would like to return next year but sadly its already booked for the dates we can do.

The most beautiful house and gardens, in fantastic surroundings, great walks to beach, lovely local pub, right across the road in fact. Communication with host was very good and quick, we’ve stayed in Cornwall a lot and this was the best ever, would have moved in if we could absolutely stunning and everything you could need, will go back at the drop of a hat so homely 😘

The property was adequate but would have benefitted by a welcome pack as this was limited especially after a long journey
Would also be useful to have some up to date leaflets of places to visit as those used are out of date the property could have done with more toilet rolls and black bin bags and cups / mugs/ plates were chipped and stained and would benefit from a new matching set

This is second year we have stayed and cannot recommend it enough. Great location we only used the car once beach within walking distance if you carry on to the left along coastal path you come to the Bluff inn and has beautiful beach views. Across road from the house is the pub called bucket of blood very good food and cosy. You can walk to Hayle which has a nice walk way along estuary with lovely gardens very well kept.
House has everything we needed there where 6 adults and a 2 year old has lots of space and grandson had lots of places to hide. Garden is great size played football tennis etc with no problem.
Great communication with owner, we left something behind Julie sorted it and got it sent back to us with no problum. We had a wonderful time accommodation and weather was amazing. I would recommend this accommodation and owner we will be returning again

The property is set off from the road so you feel very secluded and safe with children playing in the garden. The beach is a 20minute walk away and a 2 minute drive which is great for a beach day in the St Ives Bay. Hayle beach is Beautiful, and can see St Ives across the way. Lovely place to go surfing. Location of the property is brilliant to visit popular tourist locations.
The house is so spacious, comfy beds, three toilets so ample amount for family sharing. Garden is well kept and if the weather was hotter be great to just relax in. Shops close by for food shopping. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

The bucket of blood pub is right across from the house which is good for those who enjoy a few drinks.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the property. It was generally comfortable and had most things we needed. It is well located and we managed to get to various areas fairly easily for days out. A few things I have feedback on - In my opinion, it would improve the experience to have bed linen and bath towels included upfront. Also to get rid of the 'do not use' on drawers/cupboards/cabinets etc. If the items shouldn't be used, better not to have them in a rental house. I had also expected there to be simple staples like salt & pepper, maybe a welcome pack with coffee & tea etc. This has been the standard across many houses i have stayed at over the years.

I would recommend this property and the location 100%, we were so sad to leave. 4 minute drive to the most beautiful Hayle beach, 5 minutes to the town with shops. The house is perfect and has everything you need for a family with kids of any age. Check in and out very easy and great communication from host. Thank you very much for a lovely holiday

We Stayed in this property for a week and had such a lovely chilled time. The house is clean and in a great location. The only thing I would say is if you are not very mobile, you may need to use your car. This didn’t affect us and we enjoyed lovely walks to the beach and had some great meals in Hayle. It’s also convenient if you want to visit the local area with trains and buses within walking distance. If you do not want to go anywhere the garden is lovely to relax in and the kitchen big enough to cook in if you want to. In my opinion there is everything you need in this house to have a lovely stay and the owner was available to answer any questions. Will definitely be back 😊

We were 6 adults, 2 children (aged 5 & 3) and a baby. The house accommodated us all well and the young children loved their small den of a bedroom on the second floor. The garden was a highlight. Being able to walk to the beautiful Towans beach was a highlight.

Brilliant location
Spent a week at this great property, with family and friends , our grandson Loved the openness of lounge plenty of room for him to wonder round. Garden lovely size for playing games and sunbathing.. Great location to beach, train station to st Ives saves using the car. Pub opposite does lovely meals you need to book as very popular nice cosy pub. Walk along estuary is nice and nice big park for little ones, our family and friend said would go back again was presently surprised buy house and Hayle. Brilliant holiday was had by all

We all had a lovely stay, all we needed, and a beautiful well kept garden. We will certainly look to stay another time, as so convenient to many beauty spots, and the train station is within walking distance.

A week of sunshine in Phillack
The property was spacious, light and airy and very homely. The garden and outdoor space were excellent.
The location was perfect for access to nearby beaches and tourist attractions either on foot or by car.
My one criticism would be the poor decorative condition of the kitchen cupboards -[ paint peeling off the cupboards]
The property provided all we needed for a home from home for a sunny week in Cornwall.

Beautiful welcoming house
Stayed with my daughter & three grandchildren for the first week of Easter. Very spacious comfortable house. Beautiful garden. Excellant location. Visited Lands end, Marazion,Penzance,Minack theatre & Porthcurno beach. Took the scenic train from St Erth to St Ives. Our favourite place has to be Godrevy. Just up the road. Wonderful beaches,a lighthouse,seals on the beach with their pups,stunning views & lots of rocks to clamber over. An excellant holiday & so lovely to come back to a beautiful house at the end of our days out.

What a beautiful house for our week long stay in Cornwall, the house catered for everything we needed, there was eight of us and we had enough space to spread out including our two teenage daughters, communication with the owners was excellent and we would not hesitate to stay in this fabulous location again.

Beautiful house in an excellent location.
Our stay exceeded our expectations! Such a beautiful house with the most amazing garden. We got very lucky with the weather and so we could really appreciate the huge sun-trap of a garden. The house has everything you could need making it the perfect base for a short trip or an extended break. So much space with great bedrooms and bathroom facilities, all immaculately clean and well presented. The views from the back garden are great and only a short walk across the ‘Towans’ to be presented with 3miles of beautiful beach and sand dunes. Checking in and out was a breeze and all needs were catered for so thank you Julie for being a great host 👍

Perfect location
Great location for exploring the west side of Cornwall, highly recommend Carbis Bay, St Ives, coastal drive to St Just, Mousehole, St Micheals Mount. So much to do. Accommodation was great, a little tired in places, a little paint would help.
I loved getting up at 6am and walking 5 minutes over the dunes to the sea. So peaceful.
The children age 6 and 4 had a fantastic time, garden is lovely.

Beautiful getaway
This property was super clean when we arrived, we had every reassurance about the COV-ID cleaning policy and that felt really evidence when we got in. The house is large and airy with everything you could need plus a BEAUTIFUL south facing garden. We ate breakfast outside most mornings.
The location is brilliant for getting onto the local 3mile long beach. It's handily opposite a really good pub (which is busy and i'd advise you to book a table in advance). It's also well situated near to the A30 to help you explore the Lizard, or the tip of Cornwall. We loved it.
