The rooms were comfortable. I love that the hotel is on the beach. The grounds are very well kept.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The furniture, fixtures and fittings in the room needs updating.
The outside furniture and lounge chairs had a lot of bird mess on it.
There was ants in the room.
Maybe consider placing a microwave in the room.
5.0
The property was clean and inviting.
The internet in our room went out for a couple days. This was slow in rectification.
1.5
Very limited and not much options for vegetarians.
Friendliness of the staff willingness to assist guests was lacking ,did not take guest concerns seriously and attended to concerns in a timely manner.

The staffs are lovely and helpful
The service in the restaurant is quite slow.
The menu has not many choices for lunch, dinner ... It would offer some local foods.

The food was exceptional both quality and quantity was delightful
A television should be available in the rooms.

I loved the location on the beach and the ambience of the place was delightful. My boat trip to Little Tobago was also wonderful, although the reef out there has little to see now. But for those who want a restful, quiet holiday, then Blue Waters Inn is the place.
The breakfast could have had more of a variety. The packaged orange juice that was served every morning was like medicine, a real turn off. I expected fresh juices, being a Caribbean island, such as guava, pine, passion fruit, mango juice, or even pommecythere juice. There could have also been a more varied tea selection than just Lipton.

Great cocktails
Food was good, would have like a few more Tobagoain dishes on the menu.
Boat tours / snorkelling from the bay were excellent
Tennis court not playable. no net and the court surface in need of significant repair.
No net on the table tennis table.
Kayacks all need a bit of love. Handles all broken.
Only had one full housekeeping clean in 5 days. Despite asking 4 times for cleaning. Ant problem in the room
Kitchenette run down.

Excellent location, great views, and lovely food. Great infinity pool. And easy access to boat trips for snorkeling and visits to Little Tobago. The village of Speyside is a short walk from the hotel, and well worth a visit.
Whilst the restaurant staff were generally friendly and helpful, the same can not be said for the reception staff. Responses to messages ahead of our arrival were often terse and delayed. Our arrival was met with less than an enthusiastic response - leaving us feeling that our visit was an inconvenience.
Little things, e.g. out of date weather updates on the notice board and lack of available fresh pool towels, indicated a hotel that was far from offering its best.
Our bungalow had a broken front door, which I reported as soon as we arrived. This was not attended to throughout our two night stay, during which we could not lock our bedroom.
Given the money we paid for our stay, we certainly did not judge the service we received as good value for money. Must do better!
3.5
The location was great, with easy walking or driving access to the restaurants and mini marts in Speyside.
The studios are a good size with all the bits and bobs you want should you wish to self cater in the evenings, including a massive fridge and a cooker, as well as microwave and cutlery, pots and pans.
Plumbing in our bathroom was not great; we had a leaking waste water pipe on the toilet which was sending dirty water over the floor.
The design of the shower cubicle meant that water spread over the shower mat and soaked it.
The kitchenette could have done with a refurbish - all the rooms had had was a fresh coat of paint.
There was no bottled water in the room with the exception of the first night, and not water coolers or bottled water available at the pool area.

The location was nice and dinner was great
There is room for some upgrading to the property...the doors to the balcony etc. The breakfast was very disappointing since the package gives you one choice which isn't a large serving

We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and the clear waters was just a few feet away from our doorsteps. A very nice honeymoon destination indeed! The games room was a very nice feature also.
Our stay would have been perfect if our room had a television. I would also recommend regular shampooing of the carpet in the rooms to minimise the odours.

Let's start with the big picture: the location right on the beach of Batteaux Bay looking across to Little Tobago and Goat Island is as beautiful as anywhere we have stayed in the world, and we are widely travelled. The climate was divine, a steady 29C always with a breeze. The dining area in the open air looking at that view was lovely beyond words, and breakfast was very good. Jason, the head chef, was the outstanding member of staff, cheerful, dynamic, and always ready to fix things. Our double-bed was a good size and comfortable.
Now the downside: we had a superior ocean-view room with a very small terrace area, but nothing about it was superior apart from the wonderful view. It was fairly basic, the decor and upkeep a bit tired, no luxury items at all, (no TV or radio, but we didn't miss that) and not in any way spacious, nor the bathroom (shower only). At £185 per night we had expected much better. Some members of staff were rather unsmiling, not nearly as jolly as most Tobagonians. The dinner menu was pleasant enough without being outstanding, but barely changed. The sea, whilst being beautifully warm, was mostly choppy in the persistent wind and murky, leaving weed on the beach most mornings which tireless hotel workers did their best to clear. The pool was tiny. Quite a number of possible activities were still closed due to covid restrictions. That was not the fault of the hotel, but it did combine with the above to make us decide to leave two days early.
