We brought our 3 kids to stay in rock hall for a family birthday party nearby. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the house and the area! In addition to being a really interesting house, it was comfortable and fully loaded with amenities. The linens and towels were abundant and clean; and the kitchen had everything you could want in a home away from
Home. The hosts left detailed information and were very communicative when we had questions. Definitely will seek out this property next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse while our daughter’s wedding was at Haven Harbour. The house was well equipped, very clean and gave our family a great setup for getting ready for a wedding with separate bedrooms and baths. The elevator came in handy carrying items into the house. Communication was easy and responsive to our questions.

We enjoyed staying at the lighthouse! Although it rained most of the time, it was a cozy place to play games, watch football, and reconnect with family. The home is spotless and the kitchen is very well stocked (although we didn’t cook). Maybe we missed it, but we had a hard time figuring out the TV- instructions would have been great. I really appreciated the elevator as the living space is on the top floor.
We had dinner at the Blue Heron down the street which had great food and a good atmosphere for groups with young children, and the pizza from Rock City was great.
It was a wonderful weekend and we hope to visit again!

The 3 story home shaped like a lighthouse is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and situated on s lovely property on a quiet road. The owners left a well organized notebook that included tips for activities, restaurants, and guides for the home ( thermometers, etc). Sheets, towels, even wine and condiments were provided. Both couples agreed we would like to return. Thanks to the owners for all you did to make this serene weekend possible.

We got together with our children for a 3 day quiet time together for one celebration of big birthdays and anniversaries this year. The house is lovely and relaxing and pretty to sit it. I love that there were TVs in the bedrooms. Loved the almost 180 degree windows around the open floor plan. We went to the small private beach and cracked crabs one evening - all in all very pleasant.

This conveniently located home is better than advertised. The generous owners left us a very well-equipped house that was more like borrowing a friend’s beachouse than renting from a stranger. A warning: Don’t attempt a late (after 8 pm) dinner, even on the weekend. Easily walkable to restaurants, coffee shops and marinas. If we return we’ll adjust our dining habits!

Our family used the Lighthouse as our "home base" during the Rock Hall triathlon weekend and it exceeded all of our expectations! It has a perfect location, and the house was perfect for our short stay. It was my wife's first race and this beautiful house just added to a very special weekend.

This was a long weekend trip to celebrate our 44th Wedding Anniversary. The house is located within walking distance of all of Rock Hall. Everything in the was clean and it was well stocked with kitchen basics, including plenty of pods for the Keurig. The fill your own pod with filters was also available. A great place to get away from everyday life.

We have stayed at The Lighthouse previously, and it never disappoints. The house is clean, comfortable, well equipped and just very fun. The location is great for enjoying the town of Rock Hall. Diane is always very easy to work with, and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

This unique home in charming Rock Hall was perfect for our family as we gathered for a weekend of sailing and crab eating. The upside-down design with the main living area on the top floor is a creative use of space that capitalizes on Rock Hall's famous Chesapeake Bay sunset views. The grounds are well maintained and the porch swing is great! The elevator was a deciding factor as one of our guests has limited mobility. The en suite bathrooms were convenient and private. Proximity to an event we were attending at Haven Harbor North and to Blue Heron Oyster House & Inn was perfect for our group. Communication before and during our visit was prompt & pleasant.

Great Location for a Long Weekend
Great property for three couples - house was very clean, beds were comfortable. We had a great time exploring the area. House sits on the road but minimal traffic, easy walk down to the marinas/beach. Breakfast cafe right next door!

Perfect vacation!
Our family really enjoyed our stay in the Lighthouse! What a unique space and beautiful location. The view from the wrap around deck and all the windows was spectacular. We loved hearing and watching the osprey and red-winged blackbirds. We had a daily visit from a great blue heron, and loved the evening song of the peepers.
The house had everything we needed to spend wonderful time with our kids and baby grandson. The Lighthouse was perfect for providing both togetherness spaces and ample privacy. We look forward to many more visits to this wonderful home in delightful Rock Hall!

A Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration
The Lighthouse was perfect for my daughter's 50th on Easter weekend. Comfortable beds with privacy for two generations. The weather was perfect, the eagles were fishing at the Nature Preserve and the osprey were busy building nests in the Marsh. Great location for walking in Rock Hall, full of amenities for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Cold weather outside warm and very comfortable in side the LightHouse
Very thing was in great condition and festive. Mid January we expected cold and wind but we also had snow. Wonderful bedrooms and abundance of towels and special invitation to use the condiments in the refrigerator. Lots of special touches.

I absolutely loved this place, my Wife loved this place, my kids loved this place. We stayed in November to visit Family and we all fell in love. In town for triathlon
The Lighthouse is a landmark in Rock Hall, and we have seen it so many times on previous visits, so it was really great to be able to stay there. It was a perfect house for our group, and our needs. The house was well equipped and maintained. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Beautiful place to stay!
What a beautiful home!! Great location, it was close to everything! We enjoyed the spectacular view from the deck of the gorgeous sunsets and with the masts from the sailboats in the backdrop it was literally picture perfect!! We even had a family of deer that visited with us both evenings. Very cool! Also there's a cute little place to walk to for breakfast too, Muskrat Alley is a little B&B that serves breakfast that's right next door. The Lighthouse is a great place to stay and we will definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!
