My husband and I came down to Land O Lakes to visit my daughter and her family. We had a fantastic time.. The kids loved playing in the pool. The house was exactly as described. If not even a little bit bigger, we loved it. We will definitely plan to come back here if it is available on our next visit. 😎🌴☀️

This home was great! A home away from home. There were plenty of linens, towels, laundry supplies, dishes, etc. I loved the bird sanctuary right in the backyard. Being able to sit on the screened in back porch or be in the pool while also watching nature was amazing. The home and pool were clean. The location is great as well. It is in a nice residential area and close to stores and restaurants. The owner was very responsive. I would stay here again.

My family and I were visiting another family member beginning cancer treatments. Calvin allowed us to check in early if needed. House was lovely. Pool was clean and in great shape. Best part was the bird sanctuary. Very peaceful.

Loved the bird sanctuary behind the house and the privacy of the property. We walked around the neighborhood and felt very safe. We had everything we needed and then some. This was everything as listed plus more. The owner was very responsive when we had a problem with the cable and the issue was resolved within minutes. We enjoyed the bird sanctuary and the pool especially when lighted at night. We highly recommend this home.

We had this property booked for the week right after hurricane Ian was due to hit Tampa. Calvin, it's owner, was a great in communicating the condition of the home and area after the storm passed. With Tampa having dodged the worse of the storm we were able to enjoy this lovely home. It was clean, well stocked, and well maintained. In fact, I can't think of anything missing. There had even been some surprise updates since our last visit. We will surely be booking it again.

This house was perfect for my family! My kids stayed in the pool all day and night. The house felt like home because it was so cozy and well taken care of. We loved the lake with the birds, great for meditation. I will definitely book again and the host was very responsive and accommodating!

What a wonderful home. Open floor plan for great conversations and ranger games. Everything you need nearby. We will certainly be staying again amd again. We have family in the area. Thank you Calvin it was a true pleasure and as the kids said....best vacation ever and they are 18and 15.

We all loved the place and the location right next to a lake and a bird sanctuary. Our 6 year old loved playing in the pool everyday!

Had great time, the house was bigger and nicer than then pictures. The pool was everything and being able to sit by it and watch/hear the birds was nice. Only thing was we were in town for parent weekend at Tampa U and from the description we had assumed the house was closer which it was not but we still made the best out of it because they house and all it's accommodations was worth it.

This home is the best we've rented through VRBO for a few reasons. 1. It's pretty big. The photos on VRBO do not do this house justice. It is bright, open and spacious. My family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out. 2. Its quiet. Hurricane Edna made landfall near Tampa on our 2nd night, but we didn't even hear the heavy winds and rain. 3. Wildlife is abundant. There are so many birds and other critters around the lake. We really enjoyed watching them and it's resident gators. Yes! There are gators, but we kept our distance. 4. Location-We liked being in a residential area, not a tourist trap. Land O'Lakes is a nice little suburb of Tampa with great stores and restaurants within a quick 5-10 minute drive. 5. The host/home owner, Calvin, is so attentive. Even though he wasn't local during our stay, he was always easy to contact and responded to every message. The only thing we didn't enjoy was leaving. We don't normally revisit vacation locations, but I think we will make an exception for the Bird Sanctuary in Land O'Lakes!

Very relaxing clean house nicely decorated. Calvin was great to work with and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Nice neighborhood many grocery stores and restaurants within a couple miles. The coolest thing was the variety of different birds in the sanctuary within view in the backyard.Would definitely rent this house again.

The birds were fun to watch. All together a great vacation for the family.

We loved staying here. Since we were here for the virus quarantine the pool was such a bonus. The neighborhood is safe and great for daily walks, and the bird sanctuary was a daily entertainment feature! Calvin was very responsive whenever we had a question and maintenance issues were addressed immediately.

This was our first VRBO, so we didn’t know what to expect. We relied on previous reviews, pictures, and a few e-mails to the owner. The owner was very accessible, guiding us through a few home issues, which should be expected when it isn’t your own home, and not familiar with everything in the house. We are a retired couple, and totally enjoyed the Bird Sanctuary activity, and the new electric pool heater during our February 2020 visit. The owner told us he plans to make some interior furnishing changes very soon. Shopping and activity were 5-10 minutes away.

We enjoyed the house immensely. Warm atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and large TVs😂. Will stay here again.

My family of five spent to nights at this delightful home while in town visiting family. The house had everything we needed to be able to spread out, enjoy home cooked meals. Just for other guests' info: the pool was extremely cold. Even my crazy children who will swim in anything didn't last 15 seconds! I would not rely on access to the pool if that is part of the draw for you! Otherwise, everything was perfect!

We just needed a place for five adults to stay while we participated in a Down syndrome walk. It definitely met our needs

Our family loved our accommodations. Easy to access activities in the Tampa area. Everything in the house worked. Communication with the owner was good.
