The location did not bother me in the slightest,and only a stones throw from the beach. I did have a single room to the back of the property, the main road being very busy from early morning with commuter traffic.
The house is an older property and while a magnificent house it is very tired and in some aspects in need of a deep clean, soft furnishings replaced etc. This did not help the feeling of the place being clean ,altho it was.
The view from the rear of the house,where my room was, was of a very unkempt,dinghy back yard.
I could not fault the welcome and engagement with my host and felt he was very attentive.

The owners are super nice and helped a lot when we arrived in the middle of the night. Also the self-made porridge for breakfast was absolutely great!

I think overall, it’sa cool place. The bed was pretty small but I was okay since I was alone. I liked the reception and how they kept their time

It's not didn't like. Room very small & also very small single bed tucked in a room which was tiny, ensuite also very small. Bigger people would not fit in shower. No parking, not an issue for me. On a main road but not that noisy.

Delicious, homemade breakfast. Amazing room with super comfy bed.
The hosts are the friendliest, most accomodating people I have ever met! I got sick during my stay and the hosts helped me get a doctor's appointment and even helped me to get to the doctor and also drove me to my next accomodation. Thanks for everything! I will definitely stay here again when I visit Aberdeen next time.

The room looked and felt in need of renovation. The en-suite bathroom is small and cramped. I wasn't expecting a room in a house with the name "villa" in their title. It was exactly that. A room in a house with a lock on the door. The "breakfast room" is their living room with 3 tables in it.
I wish I would have checked the pictures better.

The owners were fantastic, the breakfast excellent, the location exactly what I needed and all facilities required were what I'd want or need. Do hope that they get to do the travelling they want though and make it home for at some point to meet their family again.

Across the road from the picturesque Old Aberdeen town , and Aberdeen University campus.
Very attentive we had a good time at Brentwood Villa, and in Aberdeenshire in general.
Great base for exploring Aberdeenshire.
Very good breakfasts and choices.
Beside a busy main road.
But no noise problems due to good double glazing and secondary glazing.
No parking on site, but easily resolved by very nearby and secure free parking.

ideal place if you want to visit the real old Aberdeen: university kings college the cathedral and the very nice park close
if you come by bus stop at driving school on kings street. the buses organization is a bit messy if you are not from Aberdeen !
