Allambie Gums - votre lieu de repos romantique et tranquille parmi les gommiers. Vous êtes les SEULS invités dans une suite de quatre chambres entièrement privées, confortables et romantiques où les terrasses donnent sur une petite piscine, des jardins paysagers en pierre et des forêts de gommiers. À seulement 15 minutes à pied du village de Kangaroo Valley et à 3 minutes du célèbre Hampden Bridge et de la rivière Kangaroo, l'appartement très privé et indépendant est magnifiquement positionné contre une forêt tranquille de majestueuses gencives blanches. Les kangourous paissent souvent sur les pelouses. Un wombat ou un échidné peut également se promener. Réveillez-vous au son des cris d'oiseaux, PAS du réveil. Profitez de l'expérience relaxante de simplement regarder à travers l'une des grandes fenêtres dans la brousse ou à travers les escarpements de montagne.
Une nouvelle expérience? Promenez-vous dans le Labyrinthe pour un moment de pure paix. Entrez dans le Moongate pour un nouveau départ. Asseyez-vous sur le cercle de pierres Yin / Yang juste à l'extérieur de votre unité.

Blottissez-vous sous les tapis sur la chaise longue et choisissez un DVD ou votre musique préférée. Blottissez-vous dans un lit queen-size très confortable. Une deuxième chambre queen-size est disponible. Les cuisines permettent de préparer des repas légers. Une miche de délicieux pain aux fruits de malt écossais Kangaroo Valley est dans le réfrigérateur. (Vous pouvez choisir de prendre un petit déjeuner tranquille dans vos chambres.) Lovely peaceful cottage nestled amongst eucalyptus trees. Enjoyed watching the kangaroo's bound around during the early evening. Walking distance to the village

Allambie Gums is the perfect spot to unwind. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean and it is only a short car trip to the village of Kangaroo Valley where there are a few very good restaurants. In the summer the pool would be an added plus. We look forward to returning in the not too distant future and would like to point out that contrary to Google it is NOT temporarily closed.

Cheryl was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and answered any questions promptly. The accommodation was as described and the little Christmas tree in the lounge room was a thoughtful touch. The accommodation itself was cute, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The gardens just stunning. Unfortunately due to the weather we didn't get to use the pool, but it looked very inviting! Such a peaceful and serene place. Thank you so much Cheryl for sharing your little patch of paradise!

Allambie Gums was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. We woke up to kangaroos every morning and would be perfect for a couples getaway or small family. Cheryl was very easy to communicate with & we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We had a great weekend at Allambie Gums. It's a very nice little 2 bedroom cottage which was quite comfortable for a family of 4. The decor inside was very tasteful giving a rustic feel. An exhaustive set of DVDs and a few boardgames can keep your family engaged. The location was very convenient close to Hampden bridge and also to village center. Thanks a lot Cheryl for your hospitality.

Charming accommodation backing onto the bush. We woke to kangaroos outside. Our kids loved exploring the delightful gardens, and we enjoyed choosing from the many little nooks to sit outside with a cuppa (or beverage of choice). Close to town (15 min walk to centre) but provides the peace and quiet of the bush. Many thoughtful details inside, including tips on where and when to spot local wildlife, which resulted in our first ever encounter with a wombat. Easy access to all the attractions in the area; and this area has plenty, it’s absolutely gorgeous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

An unassuming gem
What a lovely place despite the outdated decor and lack of cooking facilities. The accommodation is small but cosy and the pool is a relief in summer. The garden was large and beautiful and seems to have a resident wombat. The host responded quickly but kept her distance during my visit. And Kangaroo Valley was amazingly green and gorgeous this time.

A piece of Paradise
The cottage/apartment was clean, extremely comfortable and quirky. The highlight for me though, was the incredible garden, with its labyrinth, moongate and yin/yang garden. Cheryl was a an incredable host , her communication prompt and easy. So close to the village (walking distance) yet at the same time you felt a million miles away. Highly recommend this place - perfect for couples as well, who want a nice romantic getaway.

Quiet retreat in a lovely township
We travelled for a few days cycling, and Kangaroo Valley provided perfect spring days and excellent rides, while Allambie Gums gave us a peaceful and cozy home to return to in the chilly evenings.

Ad for property didn't match the property we turned up to.
When I question the owner, she attacked me personally.
The deceit and lies in the ad were only matched by the owners angry and unpleasant nature.

Peaceful and full of adventure
Allambie Gums is a beautiful, cosy property providing everything needed for a very peaceful and comfortable stay for our family of four.
We will definitely stay again when in KV.

Very peaceful
The place was nice, however is not freestanding from the owners unit which may not be what others are looking for. We had complete privacy though. It has a kitchenette not a full kitchen as advertised (no oven) but we are out so that was no problem. The mattress was incredibly stiff though and made it hard for a full night's sleep which was the only draw back in our opinion.

Great place at the heart of kangaroo valley
Loved the setting and homely feel. Even better that we could have a fireplace during our stay as we visited in winter. Cheryl was helpful and accommodating while also giving us compete privacy.

Great
The house had a binder with activities we could do around the valley and the fish pond in the backyard was great. The beds were also very comfortable and the location was walking distance from a lot of good cafes and restaurants. Cheryl is great with communication.

Peaceful retreat
A great getaway, with lovely gardens and friendly host. The kids loved having a pool and labyrinth, gardens etc to explore. Sitting on the deck listening to the birds while sipping coffee and tea was a great way to unwind. It’s only walk to a convenience shop (servo) and 2 min drive to village shops and cafes, making it a convenience and enjoyable place to stay

This was the perfect home, and perfect location, for our long weekend in Kangaroo Valley. No noise but the birds, yet close enough to town for everything. Thank you Cheryl.
