The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was very good. The property was very good value for the location. We enjoyed staying at this property, and although the accommodation was a little dated and tired, this was made up for by the friendliness of the owners.

The room is pleasant, the bed was comfortable. Good location to access the Highlands Wildlife Park and other places in Cairngorms.

When we arrived, the toilet did not flush. The owner fixed it, and it worked decently till the next morning. When we drawn the attention of the lady of the house at checkout, her reply was "but in other rooms it's OK" - this does not really solve the issue... Moreover, the dining room does not allow to serve all the guests at the same time - we were offered to wait with breakfast till 9:30, which was too late for us. So, our rating reflects our disappointment form this specific stay.

The room didn’t have a proper shower which I would have preferred. I thought I’d booked a better spec room with a little more space. It was ok for a one night stay.

Needed to order breakfast night before. It was fixed price. There was an array of food but I didn’t want it. I wonder if there were more options rather than 1 option for £9.50?

We liked how clean it was and the fact that we did not need anything as the basics were all provided.

Only the fact that the hot water was difficult to regulate but we showered.

Dirty, tired, smelly rooms Dog and owners living there Can't make noise, no social space No hot tub or BBQ available but they were listed in the description!

Super- friendly owners. Delicious porridge with whisky in. Does the job for three blokes cycling. Safe cycle storage.

Feeble shower not adequate.

The off road parking was great and the room was warm and the breakfast was lovely although we had wrongly assumed that it was included in the price

i found having the bath in the room with just an over tap shower strange and very inconvenient also having the toilet for our room at the other side of the house was to say the least annoying!. A very uncomfortable setup!

Great location for hiking the local mountains. The owners were super welcoming and friendly. accommodation was super clean and comfortable. was fortunate to have my own en-suite with a bath which was welcomed after a long day on the hills. this was my second visit and would stay again.
