So fast to drive across town east to west on the high roads. and to take Tanque Verde to the east is also a beautiful drive with little traffic or traffic lights.

My husband and I stayed in the condo for the month of February. We felt very much at home. The location is perfect with easy access to a great trail. Close proximity to stores, restaurants and other hiking trails. The subdivision the condo is located in is nice as well with a good amount of long term renters. Owner was very responsive and accommodating.

Driving into this contemporary condo, we knew we were about to have a VRBO experience that was "extra-special"! The mountain views of the Santa Catalinas were "up close & personal", there was NO traffic noise, NO music blaring from other condos & the only sounds were birds softly chirping. Even the parking lot was immaculate. The unit was tastefully decorated in an up-to-date southwestern theme. Our host anticipated EVERY item we might need--even leaving us a "WELCOME to TUCSON" tray of snacks to savor! The world-renown Tucson resorts can't compete with the gracious atmosphere our host created. We highly urge you to visit this VRBO site--it showcases the best that Tucson has to offer; from nature's beauty to the art it inspires.

This is our third time staying at Ventana View but our first time renting with Lore and Mike! Not only was communication with them superb but the extra special touches they added to their condo and for our comfort made our stay feel special. We have never had such special treatment! We are already hoping we can come back next year. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, the area and Lore!

Great for those wanting some quiet and a bit of nature right outside your door. Not an issue for us at all, but you are tucked up in the foothills and so there is about 10 minutes of driving to get to Tucson and start to branch out to all the sites it has to explore.

We enjoyed our week in Tucson with this great condo as base camp. Everything about the unit was convenient, clean, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the trail and the screened-in porch. Good proximity to restaurants and grocery. Lore was a great host who made sure we had everything we needed.

We had a great time in Tucson. The condo was perfect for us. Nice screened porch for breakfast looking out at the birds and walking trail. We used the pool and exercise room. The location was convenient to all the spots we wanted to see. We’ll be back.

Couldn’t ask for more! Condo is beautifully decorated, clean, and excellently equipped. Right out the door is the Ventana Canyon hiking trail. Sabino Canyon and Rillito Loop are five minutes drive. .

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times. The location and view are the reason we come to Tucson.
Lore makes sure everything is clean and always asks if we need anything. We don’t, because the unit is well set up. And the welcome basket gets us through without having to shop the first morning!

We really enjoyed our time here. Very comfortable beds, nice furnishings, wonderful patio with a view of the mountains and lots of great birdwatching. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could have needed. Made some new friends at the clubhouse and used the wonderful amenities often. Lore’s a great hostess!

Lore is a fabulous host and her condo is amazing! We enjoyed a very relaxing stay and took full advantage of the proximity to the hiking trail (gorgeous), tennis court, and pools. The condo itself is furnished beautifully and has everyone one could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. We truly felt at home here and enjoyed blissful mornings and evenings on the screened porch watching quail, cardinals, roadrunners and hummingbirds. Peaceful and serene while being convenient to shopping, fine restaurants and grocery. We cannot wait to return!

Disappointing for the premium price
Noise from upstairs renter and backyard hiking trail not disclosed. Two chairs in living room in poor condition. Guest closet filled with owner stuff leaving little room for our things. Replace toilet paper supply?

Great Hiking Location
With Ventana Canyon Trail at the back door and Sabino Canyon a 10 min drive away, the condo location is ideal for us. Love the screened in porch with view of mountains, hikers going by and birds at feeders. Addition of a conventional size chest of drawers in at least the master bedroom would be an improvement. Not much can be done about the clomping sounds from resident on floor above. Fortunately their waking hours were compatible with ours.

Wonderful Vacation
The property is just as described: clean, private, great location, plenty of amenities and great communication from owner. we spent a lot of time researching for places and decided this one was what we were looking for. We couldn't have done any better and will certainly stay here on our next visit!

Wonderful condo in excellent location!
All of the other comments were right on! We had an excellent stay. Everything you need is there, and I can't think of a single thing that needed attention. Communication with owner was excellent...everything perfect! We were attending a convention at Loews and it was so convenient. Just minutes down the road! We would rent here again without hesitation.

Wonderful week in the Catalina Foothills
Perfect Condo and a perfect host - so much more than a hotel - so comfortable with all the amenities of home - stocked with all our needs and then some - wonderful lighting, artwork, and always cool temperatures away from the Summer heat. And a wonderful view of the mountain side and Saguaros - We loved having our morning coffee in our screened porch and listening to the Gila Woodpeckers and other birds - Hope to visit again.

Beautiful, Everything You Need is Here.
It's easy to see why Lore' is a premier host. This place was full of welcoming and homey touches. The check-in was a breeze, and there was a nice basket of goodies waiting for us. The kitchen had everything - appliances, spices, complete set of cookware, two coffee makers (loved the Keurig!) - and was immaculately clean. The screened patio was a favorite spot for breakfast, where we could watch the birds and other wildlife. We cannot overstate how wonderful it was to have the Ventana Canyon trailhead so close. It made it very easy to hit the trail early in the morning before the heat of the day. Sabino Canyon is also just a short drive away, and highly recommended for the huge variety of trails and the informative shuttle service.

Lovely spot
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was nice, it was near the gate to the hiking trail in the nearby canyon. The owner even left us some goodies to welcome us.

Desert immersion
Very much enjoyed our two weeks. Watched a bobcat stroll down the trail behind the property, many hummingbirds and a gila woodpecker. Listened to the call of the cactus wrens. The bird feeder and seed were well used. Very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Great location close to Sabino and Ventana canyons for hiking.

Excellent Condo and Owner
The whole visit was exceptional as Lore, was immediately, and politely responsive! The condo itself was as described and pictures were accurate. Being on the backside is nice because of Mountain View’s. I will rent from Lore again, and hope you give her property consideration!

great location near hiking
We've stayed here twice and love how convenient it is to hiking. The unit is very clean and well managed, the owner is responsive and has thought of everything to make your stay relaxing from the start. It is so nice to look at the natural landscape from the back patio. We would rent here again anytime we visit Tucson.
