The entire trip was incredible… Lucia was so kind and helpful making our first trip to the Amalfi Coast easy and stress free. The property is gorgeous and the location is perfect for experiencing a little of everything Pirano has to offer. There are a few steep stairs getting up to the property but they are entirely doable and you’ll feel great once you’ve made it up, by the end of our stay they felt like nothing! We definitely recommend leaving one day open for just exploring the town or to do a beach day. If we ever get the chance, we’ll definitely be back :)

Casa Alea is a roof top apartment with simply amazing views. It’s a bit if a climb to get to it but well worth the effort for the unobstructed view right over to Scicily. The apartment itself was super clean and Lucia has equipped it with everything you need to make your stay easier whether that be beach bags with towels or basic ingredients for cooking etc. Lucia was truly a super helpful host both before and during our stay… organising parking , boat trips bus timetables etc. Praiano is also great base for the Amalfi coast and for me one of the less spoiled parts of it. Same amazing views as it’s more famous neighbours but way less frantic. I can’t recommend Casa Alea and Lucia highly enough Only one point to note is that parking is difficult. The VRBO listing seems to indicate the apartment has parking. It doesn’t and while Lucia could organise a private parking for us close to the apartment it comes at a cost. That said if you bring a car it’s best to pre book this with Lucia

Great location and amazing views from the balcony. Being met by Lucia at the bus stop was very helpful along with other great local information. Really loved our stay here. Steps are challenging but worth the effort.

This was the cleanest, most well stocked and friendly host EVER! The view was spectacular. Praiano was quiet and quaint. We enjoyed everything about our stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Our host, Lucia, was fantastic! We had to make some last minute changes with tours and Lucia took care of all of the details for us - ensuring we were able to reschedule for later in the week. The location is perfect with day trips to Positano and Amalfi easily accessible. The description of the rental is spot on including the stairs! There are a lot to get to the top...however the view from the outside terrance is worth every step! We can't wait to return.

My husband and I had a relaxing stay at Lucia’s home. The house has an amazing view, is very clean, well maintained, beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you might need for your stay. Lucia is an incredible host, providing lots of information on the surrounding area with things to do. She helped arrange our transportation to the house and greeted us with a homemade cake (which was delicious) and other provisions.

Apartment was close to a couple restaurants, grocery, and bar. Approximately 150 steep steps from street to apartment but view worth it. Lucia very helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

We had such a wonderful stay in Praiano! Lucia was so helpful and accommodating, even helping us reschedule a tour that was cancelled due to weather. Lucia helped us with recommendations for restaurants, and local transportation. Great central location, please note there are quite a few stairs, but the view is worth it once you have reached the top! We loved our stay and cant wait to return!

Loved staying here. Hostess Lucia was so helpful. Our flight was delayed, causing us to miss our connecting flight and by the time we got there, it was 10 p.m. Lucia brought us pizzas and beer when she met us. We were so grateful for her thoughtfulness. She assisted us in booking a boat tour to Capri. The accommodations themselves are stunning, with amazing views of the sea and an outdoor shower we loved

The view from the expansive terrace is unmatched and the home itself was very well equipped and comfortable. The 120 steps up to the apartment are well worth the effort for the lovely patio with stunning views. The apartment is exactly as advertised with home from home comforts. Lucia is very friendly and helpful and arranges any excursions you require. She is available to answer any questions and gives a fabulous service. I would definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful place. You can easily get arround using public transport if you don't want to drive and book excursions.

Lucia was the perfect host, the apartment was extremely well maintained, Lucia was extremely helpful, knowing which were the best places to go locally for eating out and for buying groceries for eating in and provided us with full details of trips along the Amalfi coast and to Capri. The speed boat trip to Capri was very enjoyable, thank you Lucia, we hope to see you again in the future

Lucia's place was immaculately clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. She was very responsive to all our questions and inquiries during our stay. The view from the patio is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We had many morning teas and evening glasses of wine out there enjoying sunrises and sunsets. Yes there are a fair amount of stairs to get up to the apartment but once you see your view, you'll forget all about them! The apartment is also walking distance to restaurants, groceries, and bus stops. I would recommend Lucia's place without reservation and would consider staying there again myself!

As you climb the 130 steps to Casa Alea and walk across the terrace, you will ask yourself..."Have I reached heaven?" The view is stunning! It is a bright, sunny, quiet vacation spot. We chose Casa Alea because of the photos on the website and were so happy we did. Praiano is away from the hustle and bustle of Positano and Amalfi which are both full of tourists. Praiano is a small town set along this gorgeous coast line. Lucia has thought of everything... from supplying you with 8 complete sets of dishes and glassware, to umbrellas, and pots and pans enough to feed an army. She even put fresh milk and limoncello in the fridge for us! She helped arrange our transportation from the Sorrento area and was a wealth of knowledge on the local transportation system providing us with bus and ferry schedule times. The stairs to the apartment are a bit of a challenge (which we liked) but you need to know that the entire town and entire Amalfi coast have steps to everything. The "Path of the Gods" (Sentiero degli Dei) can be accessed directly above the apartment (500 steps up...we counted) so it is convenient to hikers. The local Praiano bus and Positano/Praiano bus stop is 3 minutes away. We loved Casa Alea!

Beautiful apartment with everything you need for a few days or for a month. Impeccably clean and decorated very tastefully. Lucia is extremely gracious and accommodating. She treats you like family. The terrace is worth every step. Praiano is charming. Cant wait to come back!

We loved the apartment, really cozy, stylish, with sophisticated furbishing. Unforgettable, wonderful view from the terrace. Although there's a strong sunshine during the day, after 18 pm the air becomes cool and you can relax and sleep well. Lucia is a perfect host, nice and helpful. The stars are challenging, but it worth the energy!:) Parking can be a real problem, but it is valid for all the Amalfi Coast. All in all I recommend Lucia's flat with a good heart! It's a really great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Praiano !! It is a steep climb to the house, but the view that greets you at the private terrace makes it all worthwhile and more !! Lucia and her family are prefect hosts , so kind and thoughtful, will definitely want to come back and stay here again !
