We had a wonderful stay at Island Waves. The house was very clean and well equipped. Both the owner and property manager were extremely helpful with answering our questions and arranging transportation and excursions. The house sits in the most ideal location on the beach, with the sandbar just a stone’s throw away. We loved the laid back and relaxed vibe of the island and everyone was very friendly. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful house, beach and island for a family vacation. This is our 4th time here and we love it. The owner of the house is so kind, helpful and accommodating. He does everything to make your stay great. Would stay longer if we could.

Absolutely beautiful setting… The water was crystal clear every day! The house is built really well, and we truly enjoyed getting to explore Spanish Wells! A wonderful time! Vaughn was very helpful, and always on top of things!

I would give 10 Stars if I could! Within 48 hours of booking, Vaughn had taken care of our transportation too and from the airport, a golf cart rental, and a boat rental. I was surprised at the amount of effort Vaughn went thru to help us out. It was relaxing to know that everything was taken care of prior to our arrival. I will argue with anybody, that island breezes is the best location in Spanish wells. You are less than a minute golf cart ride away from the grocery store, 2 liquor stores, and 2 restaurants. Everywhere we went was only a couple minutes away! We arrived at the house and were pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was. The house comes with everything you would have in your own home. A nice washer and dryer, a high quality Samsung TV. Outdoor patio furniture for evening meals, and a propane grill. The backyard is the beach! From the back porch you take a short 20 second walk down to the white sand beach. The sandbar on the beach basically creates an enormous swimming pool of calm water, as the during the day the waves are crashing on the sandbar about 100 yards from the shore. Back to the house.. we love to cook, so we were excited to find the kitchen stocked with every type of pan/utensil you could possibly need. The first night of our trip it was stormy weather but we felt cozy in the house. I cannot think of a single complaint. You absolutely cannot go wrong booking this house. It is a “little slice of heaven”. We will absolutely be returning.

What a gem. Ideal location on a pristine beach with shallow water and a huge sandbar for late afternoon and sunset strolls. Seamless transport to and from the ferry courtesy of the property managers as well as golf cart arranged for our use. The house itself is clean, spacious and felt like a home away from home. The beach at the end of the backyard made it feel like part of our own space. This was the perfect family trip.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. The location could not be better and the beach was stunning! Johnny took such good care of us and made sure we still got to the island and our rental after being delayed 5 hours! We would definitely stay here again!!

Had a great stay in Spanish Wells. If you enjoy quiet endless beaches and laid back fishing towns then this is the place for you. The house was perfectly situated directly on the beach with an enormous horseshoe sand bar 50yds off the beach. The caretaker of the house was a wealth of knowledge and helped with any needs we had. Will stay again!

Great property with everything you need and the location is absolutely perfect. The backyard is wonderful because it is shaded by trees but opens up to the most beautiful beach you have ever seen. Great place to stay and we will for sure be back!

Vaughn’s place is awesome and located right on one of the most gorgeous and quiet beaches. We had an amazing time in Spanish Wells with our son. Be sure to rent a golf cart to get around the island. Johnny and Nancy were very helpful arranging transfers from the airport and making sure we had everything we needed. A beautiful and relaxing time, will be back for sure!

Had a great time at Island Waves, the house is in a great location, we were two couples that stayed 7 nights it was comfortable and with the upstairs, downstairs setup we had privacy between us. John and Nancy were great also.

We enjoyed 6 nights at Island Breeze! House was clean and had everything we needed. Would have liked some SUP’s and bikes. But overall would stay again 100%!

You can’t beat the location and view from this property. The beach was very accessible and we felt safe with our 8 and 10 year old kids playing with minimum supervision. This was my family’s first (my 2nd) trip to Spanish Wells. We will definitely be back!

The house is very well equipped for 6 persons and has a fantastic location right by the beach, with a lovely garden shaded by palm trees. We especially appreciated the air condition and fans in all rooms, washer & dryer, stable wifi (despite having 5 teenagers online at the same time!), outdoor table & BBQ and the many beach chairs & loungers. The house was very clean and nicely decorated.
A small grocery store and 2 liquor stores are within short walking distance, while the well stocked main grocery store and several restaurants & bars are a few minutes away by golf cart.
The beach starts right at the end of the garden, and although narrow (it disappears for a few hours at high tide), it is several km long and almost deserted. You can easily walk to the sandbank at low tide and even at high tide the bay is calm and shallow, perfect for small children. The water was incredibly clear and a vibrant turquoise!
We already miss waking up to the sound of the waves and drinking our morning coffee on the beach ☺️

Vaughn is a create host. Very attentive to any questions and setting up arrival and departure. The property is in a great location on the island close to everything but very secluded with the foliage. Steps from a great beach allowed the kids to come and go while we sat under the shade, in the house, or on the beach. Truly paradise!

Had another amazing trip to Spanish Wells! This property is stunning with the beach right in your backyard. The outside patio was relaxing in the evening with a cool breeze blowing. The house was the perfect size for our girls trip, with 5 adults in the house.
Very clean and decorated nicely.
The care taker was wonderful and arranged for all of our transportation to and from the airport! Lovely people!

This house is wonderful. We were suppose to be 6 people but ended up only 2 of us staying there due to flight cancelations.
Everything from the house to location was perfect. Great communication with the owner and a huge thank you that we were allowed to have a small wedding reception there with catering. We will absolutely be back !!!!!!! Danica and Chris

We enjoyed everything about this place and Spanish wells. The care takers Jonny and Nancy were so helpful and friendly, the house was well stocked and clean, the sandy shallow beach and exploring the sand bar at low tide was fun for the everyone. We had a small issue with a dirty grill and broken a/c unit and it was fixed immediately, couldn’t believe how quickly everything was fixed and we were grateful. We had an amazing day of reef fishing and snorkeling on the boat with Ryan Neilly fishing charters (ask for Kevin and Kegan).

This place is a wonderful place to stay. It was immaculate and had everything our family of six adults needed. It is surprisingly private and sits right on the most beautiful shallow bay you could ask for. The owners and caretakers were very responsive. Spanish Wells is a gem. We would love to come back.

You come to Spanish Wells for the beaches and gorgeous water. And this rental house situates you right on top of an amazing view, with more than a mile long stretch of white sandy beach to stroll right from the backyard. The sandbars at low tide make it feel like your own tropical island. We could walk to Buddas Bar and Restaurant, The Gap for mac & cheese and burgers, as well as Poppa Scoops ice cream shop, and having a 6-seater golf cart got us over to Wreckers for happy hour and many afternoons of exploration. Best breakfast and coffee was at the Anchor diner on the harbour side. We rented a boat from Harbourside rentals - well worth it. The prior week we did a charter with Captain Kid - extremely well worth it! And a car from Bains on N Eleuthera to explore the Hatchet Bay Caves (bring extra flashlights!), and to jump in the Saphire Blue Hole. While touring Eleuthera was loads of fun, we were happy to return to our sweet little island paradise of Island Waves on Spanish Wells. Would be great if someone on island rented kayaks to explore the mangrove canals between S.W. and Russell island, but then again, keeping it low key keeps it quiet and special too.
