This is a nice condo. Location is excellent and the beautiful ocean view even better than expected for a ground floor unit. The sofa is not as pictured online. It's covered in an unattractive, ill-fitting slipcover. Surprisingly, the kitchen didn't have a blender (not promised but expected) and didn't have the coffee pot listed in amenities. Although Virginia offered to bring one the next day, I just used the Keurig instead. Oddly, there are no towel bars or wash cloths in the bathroom. Overall, this condo is a little underwhelming compared to others. That being said, none of these is a deal breaker, and I would stay here again. Virginia, the property manager, couldn't have been more responsive, and that's a real plus. A few small fixes could/would go a long way .

Surf Villas never disappoint. Great property, great location. This condo was beautifully updated with easy access to the beach. The property manager was easy to communicate with whenever we had a question. Would definitely rent here again.

the surf villas at sawgrass was very relaxing and convenient to all the restaurants, the view from the patio was beautiful. will stay there again.

Love the location! Condo has great layout, comfy bed and furniture, well-stocked with most supplies, easy parking, plus wonderful covered lanai within easy walk to the beach. It could use a deep cleaning, and some updating, but we won’t let that stop us from returning. Overall, a wonderful beach trip!! And the property manager was so responsive and helpful. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful condo, you can see the ocean from the patio, hop skip and a jump to the beach! Close to stores and restaurants! Everything was perfect.

We loved this place! We will definitely go back! I read every review on this place and everyone nailed it! To the awesome management team to the amazing property! They have recently painted the outside of the building to a light pretty grey which made a huge upgrade on the outside looks.

My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to PVB/St. Augustine area for my birthday as our original plans to fly to Caribbean were canceled due to covid. This was the perfect escape. Less than 6 hour drive for us. Enjoyed 3 nights at 616 and then moved on to St. Augustine for 1 night since due to availability we couldn't stay 4. From the moment we checked in, we so wished we could have stayed longer. The condo is beautifully appointed. Super comfy and had all amenities we needed. We originally had hoped for upstairs unit but feel like we lucked out with downstairs location. It had rained right before we arrived but the downstairs seating area was totally dry. We got to pass a rainy afternoon enjoying the view from the patio area. A fun bonus for us, on Sunday night we arrived, there was live outdoor music next door at the restaurant/pool at the Sawgrass Beach Club so definitely added to the atmosphere (not too loud). The beach area is just so beautiful and is right there. No crowds. Just a tip - due to covid, Sawgrass Beach Club/Country Club isn't doing temporary monthly passes for guests - at least that's what they said when we called. We are putting this specific condo on our must return list when we need to getaway. Virginia was so helpful every step of the way and appreciated her feedback and responsiveness.

Condo conveniently located close to the beach, walking paths, restaurants, movie theaters, and St Augustine. Condo well appointed. Manager very pleasant and helpful. will definitively recommend it.

First this review is for 622 not 616. We were changed to 622 in mid Sept. due to a conflict with 616 Overall our stay was very pleasant. Disappointed that there was only one wash cloth provided for two people. Items were left in the refrigerator and freezer from previous guest. Older property, but nice. Nice upgrade to shower and bathroom looked to have been redone recently. Quite neighbors and great access to the beach. Thanks for a nice time.

Great little condo right on the beach with sunrise right out the window. Beautifully decorated. Well appointed with everything you need. Excellent management. Addressed needs immediately. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the ultra firm bed. We did find a mattress pad in a closet that helped a little.

Loved staying at 616 Surf Villas. The condo was very clean and updated, and the views were amazing. Took beautiful long walks on the beach. The management company was very helpful and accommodating. I forgot clothes there after I had checked out and they made sure I got them all back. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation -- this property is it!. The condo was well-decorated and extremely comfortable to get away from it all. The ocean was a bit choppy during our stay, and the weather was crappy, but the condo more than made up for it. We'll definitely return. -- Betty

From the moment I booked this place, it felt odd. I travel 10 weeks a year for leisure and travel the world using VRBO and Other vacation rental programs regularly. First, I get an email from an investment company (red flag) they will send me the “contract” two weeks later, still no email then two days before my arrival I’m getting emailed (while traveling) that I can’t come until the contract is signed. Super archaic Docusign agreement. I followed the rules and since I hadn’t paid the “typical” deposit they needed a credit card authorization form, which I filled out. I arrived at the condo, nice furnishings, good location but everything else was terrible. They left ONE roll of toilet paper for a 4 day stay with two people of course we ran out. Not a single back up garbage bag, no extra paper towels, there are no area rugs to prevent sand tracking, the bed was really uncomfortable and the linens and pillows were about as cheap as they come. I could hear the neighbors above shifting furniture at midnight the walls were so paper thin I could hear people sighing from bed. As far as “toiletries” there was one bar of dial soap left in the bathroom, seriously? There are no beach materials, we had to buy beach towels, and I ended up using the bath towels as mats as the bathroom didn’t even have a shower mat. The best part of all, be prepared to wash your linens/towels before you go (I’ve NEVER heard of such a thing) oh and, read your contract CLEARLY. They charged me $65 because my sheets hadn’t been washed (mind you there wouldn’t have been enough laundry soap to do so, anyhow.) this place is a joke, I could’ve paid cash for this condo and was down looking at real estate and it’s a good reminder to avoid places owned by “investment” properties because they could care less about your experience or making you comfortable. Oh and lastly, I emailed the office to mention a few imperfections I noticed (so I wouldn’t be held liable) and on day TWO of my stay, is when the contract was actually emailed back. At least if you’re going to be so old school/contractually do it well. To boot, I just checked out of another rental in Seattle and it was a stark contrast from a care perspective. I emailed the owner to apologize for not finishing the dishes as there was no dishwashing soap or a sponge. Her response, “that’s my job a vacation rental host.” And, also the way I’ve been treated in every rental before this one.
