Lovely location. Hotel has plenty of parking and great views out to see. We had out room upgraded, so really happy. Food selection and quality was top class. After eating in the restaurant there are 3 lounges to relax, take a drink from the bar and enjoy the views. The staff are friendly, super helpful and nothing is a problem. Both my wife and I wanted slight changes to the breakfast, which was accommodated. Every member of staff greats you with a smile. The main rooms downstairs are well pretested, with a relaxed atmosphere. Top class customer service.
Bathroom had a few patches of mold around the shower cubicle/bath. Minor issue, but easily avoided.

Fantastic staff and service.. food is excellent. Really well pampered and looked after. Views are lovely. Bed was comfortable. I love the old fashioned vibe. Great facilities .. had a fantastic four way game of snooker in the games room. Golf course, beach nearby and swimming pool on the premises.
Not much a at all.. some of the ceilings could do with a paint perhaps.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Made to feel very welcome
Being woken up by dogs barking and kids running about was not what I had expected.
Dinner was OK but clearly prepared in advance which was disappointing

The table in dining room was always booked in advance we did not have to pre book anything. The food in the dining room was very good as were all the waiters and waitresses. We had a wonderful 2 day stay
Nothing !

Lovely views from terrace. Comfortable public areas. Nice bedroom at first glance, plenty of storage. Good choice of breakfast in particular. Dinner was average.
For the price, I would have expected a clock of some description in the bedroom, along with complimentary bottles of water, a minibar, personal safe and a bathrobe. Dinner was 5 courses, but nothing to really impress. Fewer courses more imaginatively created would have been better. The hotel is described as beachfront. It isn't. You need to walk down the driveway, cross the road and the railway, then the golf course and then the largish sand dunes. It's about 30mins brisk walk into Aberdovey but there's nothing much there. You certainly need a car or be willing to take train journeys to get anywhere.

Breakfast was far too early; we would prefer a later cut-off time when on holiday.

All wonderful. Our room had a panoramic view but no balcony. Changing the windows so they slide down from the top to open and forming a secure railing is worth consideration. Otherwise a ceiling fan would be a cheaper but secondary option. I appreciate the middle window opens right up but I doubt that would gain bureaucrat approval today. With the glass balcony option more could be charged for the room to obtain a reasonably shorty payback period.
See above.

The location is wonderful overlooking the sea. The facilities are also great - there is something for everyone.
I pre-paid via booking.com however when I came to check-out they said that they had no record of the payment having been made and required me to pay again. This resulted in an uncomfortable 40min debate before they agreed that I didn't have to pay again and the hotel would contact me if there was a problem. This was clearly a resolvable technology/ admin issue which they can hopefully rectify.
One of the waiters was comically rude - though it must be said that some of the others were lovely and very helpful.

A comfortable, clean and cosy environment in a super location. Food was superb and good portions, served with professional friendly staff. We took a relaxing swim in the pool. Although we didnt have our dog with us this time, it was good to see that you are dog friendly and this is an incentive to return. We also loved the paintings in the dining room, great artist
Nothing we didnt like.

Breakfast was very tasty. Staff very helpful. Did not have an evening meal as the menu did not appeal
Evening meal choice. Unfortunately there was nothing that appealed to me.
