Schöner Pool, nette Nachbarschaft, die Kontaktpersonen von Wonderful Italy waren nett und hilfsbereit

Dies war meine erste Buchung über booking.com. und mit Abstand die bisher schlechteste Unterkunft, in der wir am Gardasee Urlaub verbracht haben. Die Fotos in der Anzeige entsprechen nicht mehr dem derzeitigen Zustand der Wohnung. Als wir ankamen roch es im Appartement eklig, fast alle Wände waren mit mangelhaft entfernten Schimmelflecken bedeckt, von Anstrich kann keine Rede sein. Wir hatten erst am 3. Tag warmes Wasser zum Duschen, das Küchenequiment war mangelhaft, es gab z. B. keinerlei Auflaufform und die Töpfe und Pfannen waren uralt und für einen Gasherd geeignet, nicht aber für Ceran. Ebenfalls das Sofa stank sehr unangenehm und wirkte schmuddelig. Außen fiel wegen Feuchtigkeit an vielen Stellen der Putz ab.

Location was good near the supermarket and train station. It was also within walking distance to town centre.

It cost 36 euro for the taxi from the train station to the apartment which was 5 minutes drive. this in our view is completely excessive. It was a rip off. We feel we were mislead by wonderful Italy by encouraging us to get a taxi. We are both in our senior years so it was very frustrating to book in on line especially the form which we were asked to sign and return without success and in the end we were never asked to sign it, this took up a lot of our valuable holiday time.

Quiet residential location 10-15 min walk into Peschiera del Garda. 10 min walk to train station, also Free shuttle from train station to theme parks. Bus & train very reasonable and frequent if your staying within the circumference of Lake Garda, ferries good too. Very good supermarket within 10min walk from apartment, apartment well equipped, would have been nice to have an outside barbecue.

Noise transmitted very easily from apartment to apartment don’t expect lie in’s! However most residents are quiet at night

Great location, close to the train station, bus stop and Town. Easy to travel to other places. Apartment nice, large private balcony. Pool is small but we often had it to ourselves at certain times of the day which the children enjoyed.

Having to collect and drop off the keys at Sirmione! Like other reviewers, we did not have a car and it was a huge inconvenience and additional cost to have to collect the keys from another town and even worse having to drop them back off when we had an early morning flight. We had to hire a car for the last day just to drop the keys off. I cannot understand why the property can’t have a key box like many of the other apartments. Also, this is not stated at all until after the booking process. Wi Fi dropped out all the time and couldn’t always connect in the bedrooms. Complex is pet friendly which means there are often dogs roaming around the pool area.

The apartment was well kitted out, clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the washing machine and dishwasher were great to have. Great location, close to shops and train station.

Having to travel to Sirmione from Peschiera train station just to pick up the key was a nightmare as we didn't have a car. Two taxi drivers refused to take us to Sirmione from the station (it didn't suit them!) so we ended up having to take the bus. The 4 of us had to walk carrying our suitcases in the middle of the midday sun to try get a bus. It was about half an hour trip on the bus and then another half an hour return trip. This was extremely inconvenient as the apartment is so close to the train station. We wasted all of the afternoon in the picking up of the key. The pool was way too small for the number of apartments and it was also too shallow. There was no shade around the pool area. There was only air conditioning in the bedrooms and there was none in the sitting room, it was uncomfortably hot to sit there. Most of our time indoors was spent in the bedrooms! A ceiling fan in the sitting room would have been useful.
