Bayview Cottage est la maison idéale pour des vacances en famille, une réunion entre amis ou une escapade pour se détendre et profiter des Cornouailles. Les enfants sont les bienvenus et un lit de voyage et une chaise haute sont au chalet si nécessaire.
Toutes les chambres ont des proportions généreuses et sont soigneusement décorées. Les vues depuis le salon, la chambre principale et la chambre en mezzanine sont ce dont la plupart des clients ne peuvent pas se lasser!

La cuisine est bien équipée, y compris une cuisinière avec une plaque vitrocéramique à 5 feux et de nombreux fours. La cuisine ouverte et la salle à manger sont parfaites pour les boissons avant le dîner et la cuisine sociale et les repas à la maison. Si vous souhaitez manger à l'extérieur, il y a un choix de bons restaurants à Mevagissey avec beaucoup d'entre eux utilisant du poisson local et des produits de Cornouailles.

Le stationnement est inclus pour une voiture au parking Sunny Corner situé à proximité, situé dans le centre du village. Une aire de repos pratique se trouve en face de la propriété, parfaite pour la collecte et le dépôt. Notre changement de jour dans les mois d'été est le samedi. Nous sommes heureux d'accueillir d'autres jours pour le reste de l'année.

Bayview cottage is perfectly situated overlooking Mevagissey harbour with stunning views no matter the weather!
The rooms are all large, comfy, bright & impeccably kept. The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Again the bedrooms are all large and very comfortable with the main bedroom having the most amazing views to the harbour and out to sea as does the top bedroom. The bathrooms are all a very good size clean and very well presented.
The walk into Mevagissey…About 120 seconds 👍
All in all it’s the perfect holiday cottage in the perfect location it’s a 10/10 from us.

Brilliant stay in lovely home
A spacious and clean house in an excellent location close to the centre of Mevagissy. Communication with the owner beforehand was great and everything was as described. The house is very well equipped with everything needed for catering, including a bbq (bring your own charcoal) . Beds were super comfy and the 2 bedrooms at the front of the house had stunning views for boat, seal and people watching.
There are a number of lovely restaurants, cafes and bakeries in the town, plus ice cream shops of course. 2 beaches are within walking distance and many more short drives away. There are a couple of large supermarkets a short drive away.
The allocated car parking space was a walk up the very steep hill but close enough.
We hope to return!

Family Celebration
The location of the house was great with easy access to the centre of Mevagissey as well as wonderful views across the estuary. Likewise the house itself offered a great deal with all the rooms splendid in size and with several overlooking the bay. The garden offered plenty of space to enjoy outside meals in the sunshine.
The whole house was beautifully presented both in terms of furniture and all facilities.

The property has a fantastic location with a short downhill walk to the village. As with many Cornish locations, parking is a premium, however the property does have an allocated space up the hill. The owners were very helpful in advising on areas to park our second vehicle..
There is so much to do in the area for all ages.
Overall an amazing holiday.

Wonderful property
This is a lovely house, comfortable, well equipped and well appointed. Just a short walk from the centre of Mevagissey and with stunning views over the harbour, we enjoyed a relaxing two weeks at the property which also served as a great base for exploring Cornwall.

Bay View Cottage is a fantastic property with beautiful views of Mevagissey habour. The house is spacious, very clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed and convenient for exploring Mevagissey. We would definitely stay again!

The perfect location in a very special village. Our family of five adults enjoyed the quality of this property. Sunny days in Mevagissey
Five of us enjoyed Bayview Cottage for our three nights in Mevagissey. What a beautiful view from each floor and the highest terrace. The cottage was clean, well-equipped and as advertised.

Amazing home from home property situated in a wonderful position; amazing views!
Party of six 'mature' adults looking to visit Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The spacious cottage was perfect in every way; right from the well equipped kitchen to the heavenly views of the harbour from the lounge and 2 of the bedrooms. Nevin was on hand to answer any questions prior to our visit by email; for example the parking of the second car!
We have been telling all our friends and family about Bayview Cottage and only hope that if we visit the area in the future we can stay longer than 4 nights and hopefully visit in the summer so as to utilise the bbq and that gorgeous garden with those wonderful views!

Great family space and wonderful views
This was our 4th visit to Bay View - and as usual the lovely property was pristine and offered everything our family needs. We have long time connections to Mevagissey so were well aware of the steep hill and the necessity to park in the carpark which is a short walk away. We visited various locations - Mevagissey is a good base to reach most areas. There is plenty to see and do locally- from walking to beaches, plenty of places to eat, fishing and pleasure trips by boat. Our grandsons particularly enjoyed a daily visit to the model railway, while others had a splendid morning at a nearby spa facility.
The property offers really comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Lovely to find a welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk - much needed after a long drive!
We shall be returning hopefully.

Lovely house, spacious, light and airy!
The village and the house were both lovely and it was great that we could get in earlier than expected as our car had broken down on arrival. With 2 kids in our party of 6 would have loved a pull out bed option but they were so exhausted from bodyboarding and crabbing they barely knew they were in the same bed. The road outside was the main downside to this location, it is steep and single track - this resulted in cars speeding past the house and left us unable to let the kids explore from the house on their own. A dressing table/chair in the front bedroom on the first floor would have been useful. The outside space was lovely as it was such good weather. All in all a lovely property!

Stunning location, clean property, everything you needed at the property was there. Marvellous views
It was nice to have our own bedrooms & bathrooms, there was 4 people in our party. Amazing views from front windows. Near to everything you needed, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, gift shops, harbour.
Well equipped, dish washer & washing machine. Everything was spotless! Would highly recommend. Car was parked in the village car park, not next to property, which was sometimes inconvenient.

Wonderful!
The cottage was quaint, yet high-tech with great views over Mevagissey harbour. The attic room was my favourite - my two year old daughter liked to make a bed in the dormer window recess.

Short break
Recently stayed at bayview cottage in mevagissy with friends visiting from America. We had a great time. Cottage is very spacious with four good sized rooms and three bathrooms.
Short walk to car park, harbour and restaurants. Great views of the harbour from the bedrooms .
It was easy to talk directly to the owner to make final arrangements and questions about the cottage.
Would book the cottage again next time we are in Cornwall .

Spectacular views and a special village
We all loved Bayview Cottage, and after our one and only drive up the hill we soon got to love Mevagiasey and the walk up the hill each evening after some wonderful meals in the village. The house is very comfortable and well stocked and the master bedroom and bathroom are lovely with amazing views over the harbor. We felt like locals and even went to quiz night at the Harbour Tavern. We enjoyed talking with the owner's mother in the art gallery and breakfast crepes at She Sells are wonderful. Our stay in Mevagissey was one of our favorites.

Beautiful, well maintained, clean cottage with the most fantastic view.
Beautiful cottage with the most amazing view - we didn't draw the curtains all week! The cottage is well maintained with everything you need and was extremely clean with very comfortable beds. The walk up from Mevagissey isn't too far or too steep given the amazing view. The car park permit worked fine for us. I would highly recommend this gorgeous cottage and look forward to staying there again in the future.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location
We travelled as a party of 7, 6 adults and 1 child. We were all stunned by the beauty of Mevagissey and so impressed by the standard of the property. The house was very clean and spacious with stunning views of the harbour from the front windows. The hill climb to the house was a bit of a challenge, but by day two everyone was used to it. It was a great place to completely relax and unwind I would highly recommend this property and would like to thank Nevin for making my Dad's 70th birthday one that the whole family will remember.

This is a beautiful property.The accommodation is ideal and furnished to a very high standard .
We had a mid week break at Bayview and it was a lovely property in a great location. All aspects of the accommodation , its renovation and the furnishings have been well thought out . It was spotless when we arrived and extremely well equipped. The provision of coffee , tea , milk , seasonings etc as well as cleaning materials was much appreciated . The back garden is on 3 levels and it's worth the climb because the view is amazing.
We made a decision to leave the car in the car park as I found negotiating the hill a bit tricky but again that was not a problem.
We would thoroughly and unreservedly recommend this property.

We had such a brilliant week. The house is gorgeous, beautifully laid out and decorated and had everything we needed. The views are spectacular and we spent a lot of time just staring out of the windows watching the boats coming and going. Nevin kept in touch on the lead up to the booking and provided us with all the info we needed - we had no issues at all and the key collection was very easy. We hope to return soon- thank you for a great house :-)

Bayview provided wonderful views of the port and town of Mevagissey. It's location allowed us to tour local areas as well as spend time in the town itself. Nice shops, pubs, and eateries with friendly, inviting people. Staying in and cooking meals was also fun as the property provided ample equipment and multiple entertaining areas, inside and outside. We would certainly recommend Bayview and Mevagissey to anyone who is planning a stay in the area. People with mobility issues may find challenges with the number of stairs from the 1st floor to the upper tier of the backyard, but the climb provides the grandest of views.
Also, take time to admire the wonderful artwork hanging throughout the house. The Weston family is very talented! Visit the David Weston gallery in the town or online. Lovely art based on the local beauty.

Bayview Cottage is a charming, meticulously restored home. From the high end well outfitted kitchen to the comfy beds and spa like baths, every comfort has been seen to. The views of the lovely town of Megavissey are breath taking. Truly the perfect location for a relaxing and authentic Cornish holiday.

This cottage is everything you could wish for when renting a holiday cottage. In fact our family all agreed we could live there! It has been renovated to a high standard, is beautifully decorated and accessorised with everything that you would need even underfloor heating in the kitchen and three bathrooms and all spotlessly clean. There are thoughtfull touches too with a shelf of books, a monopoly game and a pack of cards which we used most nights. The pictures you see are exactly what it's like with the amazing view of the harbour and out to sea from the living room and two of the bedrooms. It's location up the hill above the harbour allows for this, even so it's only a few minutes walk down the hill to the harbour with its surrounding streets full of craft shops and restaurants. The three restaurants we ate at where all very good (The Sharkfin on the harbour with great views, unique decor and good food, Roovrays (only open for dinner) at the bottom of the hill therefore only 2 mins walk from the cottage with a lovely welcoming atmosphere and excellent food and Number Five cafe & restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and great fresh food) and all serve locally caught fish from right there in Mevaggisey as its still a working fishing harbour. The car parking situation works well with a drop off point across the road from the cottage and the car park down in the centre just 5 mins walk from the cottage. Don't be put off when you first arrive by the narrow roads and the fact that you think you might be blocking them, the locals are all very used to this and are adept at manoeuvring around stationary vehicles. I would definitely recommend this cottage, it was perfect for our family of five including three teenagers. The correspondence with the owner before and after is excellent with answers by email coming sometimes within an hour and never any longer than 24 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bayview Cottage and would definitely return.

Really lovely house that's very spacious & tastefully decorated. Has everything you need as a family or group of friends on holiday. It has beautiful views over the harbour & short strole into mevagissy where there are many places to eat and shops to look round the narrow maze of streets. It's also a really good base to explore the rest of Cornwall.

We have visited this fabulous property for the second year as we were so impressed last year. As a family group it has everything you would expect and more, all beautifully presented and maintained. The owner is very good at communication and provides plenty of information as needed. The parking arrangements are particularly straightforward and we had no problem making further arrangements for extra cars by booking in advance. The property has fantastic views over Mevagissey harbour and village, which is all within walking distance (providing you are not averse to the hills!). This year we visited the Eden Project again and The Lost Gardens of Heligan - both very near. Further afield there are plenty of places to see - all unique to beautiful Cornwall. There are plenty of places to eat out of great quality, with local seafood available in many. It is lovely to see Mevagissey thriving yet maintaining a 'fishing village' feel. We shall certainly come back to Bayview again and would highly recommend it as an impressive, comfortable accommodation within reach of all that Cornwall has to offer.
