The Downtown House - 1820s home steps from Main Street in downtown Galena
À quelques pas de la rue principale du centre-ville de Galena, cette belle maison de vacances rénovée des années 1830 peut accueillir jusqu'à 7 personnes.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec des casseroles, poêles, plats, etc. Café et thé sont fournis. Il y a aussi une laveuse et une sécheuse avec du détergent pour votre usage.
Profitez de la climatisation centrale, de l’Internet haut débit sans fil, du système stéréo ainsi que de la télévision par câble et compatible avec la lecture en continu.
Il y a un lit king dans la chambre principale. La deuxième chambre à l'étage est plus une configuration de loft et a 2 lits jumeaux XL (pas de porte et sert d'accès à la chambre des maîtres). Il y a un lit jumeau (avec un lit supplémentaire) dans la chambre à coucher de l'étage principal et le salon a un canapé-lit.
Literie, serviettes, savon, shampoing / revitalisant et sèche-cheveux sont également fournis.

Perfect location in downtown Galena a short walk to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The house was perfect for my family of 5 with a bed for everyone. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the well stocked kitchen and had no problem finding whatever utensil or pot/pan that we needed. The house was very clean and stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, etc... We will not hesitate to rent it again.

This was the perfect property for us. Once we arrived and parked the car we didn’t have to drive anywhere. We were able to walk Main Street and we were located just steps from several of our favorite restaurants and wineries. We enjoyed the fact there were enough beds for all of us and 2 bathrooms as well. The house was very well stocked and we enjoyed the extra blankets and pillows for movie night.

Lauren’s home was very clean and nicely furnished. Air conditioning was set just right with fans in each room for more air flow which was helpful in the upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked well with appliances and utensils. Great location for heading down to the Main street in Galena. Lauren gave tips for parking and bypassing construction. We enjoyed our stay in this home!

This house was very nice for our girls’ weekend in Galena! Parking was easy and readily available and everything on Main Street was within walking distance. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean too! The disco ball made our Saturday night even more fun! Thanks for a great stay!

We had 6 “moms” that stayed for Mother’s Day weekend. Perfect location to the shops and eateries. The house was modern design, awesome inside and outside entertainment options, had everything we needed to feel at home, great communication and easy booking.

Great location, very close to main street. Charming old home that has been completely renovated. The owner had thought of everything and is very helpful to work with. The only trade off is some noticible road and train noise that is hard to avoid in the city.

Sister's weekend
This property is amazing. It is so close to town with all the shops and restaurants. The house is clean and has everything you need. Working with Lauren was easy and responded right away. I would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic location less than a block from restaurants/shops on Main Street. Adorable, clean, charming old house with modern amenities, though we actually didn't spend much time there since it was so close to everything! Lauren was a great host - responsive, accommodating and helpful. Our whole family loved their stay, and we definitely hope to return soon!

Girls Galena Weekend
We were a group of girlfriends looking for a place large enough to accommodate us. Lauren's property was perfect. Her home was beautiful and the location just off Main Street made for easy access to stroll through the shops and dine at the restaurants. We have already decided if we do another girls Galena trip we would stay here again.

LOVED IT!
It was clean, quaint and right down town! Owners were always on call if needed and kept us informed if there was anything up in the neighborhood (such as a power outage). We will definitely stay there again!
