We stayed in Vitos appartment for two weeks. Vito is a very good host. And such a nice place. I’m sure we will come back.

Wir haben 10 wundervolle Tage in Cala Gonone verbracht. Das Ferienhaus liegt perfekt mit einem sehr schönen Blick auf das Meer. Bis zum Strand und zum Hafen sind es nur wenige Meter. Die riesige Terrasse und die liebevolle Ausstattung laden zum Verweilen ein. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Man braucht nur ankommen und sich wohl fühlen. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Wir können nur ein ganz großes Lob aussprechen und das Ferienhaus weiter empfehlen.

angenehme Lage, sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter der auf alle Nachfragen sofort reagiert hat, die große Terrasse mit Meerblick ist klasse, der Ortskern, Strände und Hafen sind sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr schöne und interessante Bootsausflüge möglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr freundliche Vermieter, tolle Lange, schön eingerichtet, windgeschützte, sonnige Terrasse mit Meerblick, sehr praktisch: kleiner Supermarkt nebenan, der alles hat, was man braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Thank you for the great time in Cala Gonone. The lovely house is perfectly located for a famliystay. Short walks to the beaches and into the town made the time for us absolutely relaxing. La situation de cet appartement est parfaite : très calme le soir et tout proche du centre et de la plage (à 5 min à pied). Belle décoration et très fonctionnel.

Un emplacement parfait avec accès facile à la plage et aux commerces. Une place de parking privée essentielle ! L appartement est spacieux et la terrasse avec vue sur mer est très agréable. Un grand merci à Vito pour son accueil et ses conseils avisés. Nous recommandons fortement.

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist super. Randlage am Ort mit Sicht auf das Meer. Fußläufig sind Strand, Supermarkt und Restaurants in 2 bis 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Kein Wlan aber alles andere funktionierte wie beschrieben. Schneller und unkomplizierter Kontakt zum Gastgeber in englischer Sprache per Whatsapp. Klare Empfehlung unsererseits!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit großer Terrasse, guter Zustand, zentral gelegen und doch ruhig. Gute Ausstattung und sehr nette Vermieter. Unsere Woche zu viert dort war sehr schön.

Posto congeniale per dove è ubicato, per come è allestito e per la gentilezza dei proprietari. Assolutamente da consigliare!

Un grand merci à Vito pour son accueil accompagné d'un petit paquet de pâtisserie. La maison est très bien agencée et spacieuse, les climatiseurs installés dans chaque chambre ont permis de les utiliser de façon précise et ponctuelle. La grande terrasse nous a permis de profiter de belles soirées dans une tranquillité surprenante, elle est équipée d'une douche extérieure très pratique et d'un barbecue. Le supermarché avec service boucherie et charcuterie ainsi qu'une poissonnerie sont au pied de la maison . La boulangerie est à 5 minutes, mais on peut aussi acheter le pain au supermarché. Les plages sont accessibles à pieds, mais le Golfo di Orosei mérite d'être vu. Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances. Andrea

Vito was very welcoming and showed us around, gave us local information which was very useful. The property is very well located for everything, especially the harbour, restaurants and supermarkets. The area is very beautiful, surrounded by mountains and the coastline is especially lovely. Recommend very highly.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung bietet alles was es braucht und die Terrasse ist der Hit. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und flexibel. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Cala Golone und der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Die Lage ist fast in Zentum des kleinen Ortes aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Supermarkt gegenüber, viele gute Restaurants in der Nähe und der Hafen und der Stadtstrand in weniger als 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Betreuung durch das Vermieterehepaar war vorbildlich. Wir können die Ferienwohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Had really enjoyable week staying in Cala Ganone House is comfortable and clean with everything you need for your stay Vito the owner and his wife met us when we arrived and gave us a good tour of the house, they also left a little something for our breakfast the following day. Cala Gonone is a picture postcard village, with lots of shops and restaurants overlooking the marina and beaches, however a lot of these are closed mid October onwards. Well worth a visit Will be going to Sardinia again, although will be to a different area purely because we like to see new things everytime we go on holiday

The supermarket is just across the road, the ATM just below at the Post Office, the town beach was 3 mins walk away and there were numerous excellent restaurants within 5 mins walk. The balcony is huge with chairs, tables and has shade if needed. The A/C worked well in all rooms and the beds were comfy. Town beach was a bit crowded and pebbley but just 15 mins drive in the next bay to the north was a perfect sandy beach with crystal clear water. The Agriturismo co Fuili was 10 mins drive into the hills and should not be missed for views and local food. Cal Gonone really nice relaxed little town.

Great place, quiet, close to amenities

When we arrived Vito was waiting for us at the Post Office which was situated underneath the accommodation. Vitos a very kind natured person who gave us lots of information about the area and the apartment. The apartment had an exceptionally large balcony which overlooked the sea and town to the right, a carpark in front and the mountains to the left. We enjoyed watching the world go by eating our breakfasts on the balcony. Inside was 1 largish room which had the kitchen, Dining table and sofas in and then behind this room was the 2 bedrooms and bathroom with washing machine in and a door onto the pathway for the neighbours private access. The inside accommodation was quite dark but it had a homely feel and it is in a quiet area of Cala Gonone. There is a supermarket next to the carpark opposite which we used a lot. Down a slight hill towards the sea was the Marina (5mins walk) where you can hire a boat to visit the nearby beaches which are not accessible by car and they all seemed to give the same price EUR250 plus fuel (August) well worth it. Further on was the town (slight hilly in areas) with lots of restaurants and beaches. The beaches were pleasant (shingle & seaweedy) but not the best nearby by far. We drove to the nearby beach of Cala Cartoe (20 mins) which was sandy and beautiful but the drive was very precarious on steep small mountain roads. Cala Fuili is the nearest cove (10mins drive) but it is very busy so dont try and park as near as possible and contemplate a walk (5-10 mins) to the pass and then you will have to walk another 20mins down a steep mountain pass. Once there the beach is pebbly best to bring beach/water shoes, the water however was stunning as clear as glass well worth it trip. We are not to keen on sand so this beach was perfect except for the walk so we opted to drive here but use the very small rocky beach situated slightly before with paths down to it, I think locals use it (it was also stunning and clear). One of the days was raining so we decided to go via Olbia (shopping) then to Porto Rotonda (dinner) this took about 2 hours but Porto Rotonda was very nice and worth a trip. We also visited another nice sandy beach Cala Liberotto which was about 1 hour away, sadly all beaches are heaving with holidaymakers in August. We had a very relaxing holiday in Cala Gonone and you could easily stay here without the need of a car however we enjoy seeing other parts of Sardinia which you definitely need a car.

Fantastic accommodation, very clean and well positioned for getting into the village with the beach being only a few minutes walk away. Supermarket, restaurants and bars also close by but far enough away so as not to disturb you. Very popular for boat trips to all the incredible beaches in the gulf and Cartoe beach is just a 15 min drive away along a very 'interesting' road!! Had a great time, would recommend and my thanks to Vito and Lina, great hosts!! Thanks the Armstrong family
