Cottage de style victorien spacieux avec toutes les commodités modernes. Porche avant doux et grand patio arrière pour la vie en plein air. Endroit privé et calme, à quelques pas des restaurants, des boutiques et des dégustations de vin dans la ville historique d'Amador. Plus de 40 établissements vinicoles sont à une courte distance en voiture.

La maison dispose d'un maître au rez-de-chaussée avec lit king et salle de bain complète. Le deuxième étage comprend une chambre king et une reine, avec deuxième salle de bain. Les deux chambres à l'étage ont des lucarnes avec des lits de jour, parfaites pour les enfants ou un coin lecture. La cuisine est entièrement meublée avec assiettes, verres, couverts, casseroles et poêles, petits appareils électroménagers et café, thé, crémier et édulcorant.
Le porche à côté du petit étang est un endroit pour se détendre en plein air. Grand patio arrière privé avec coin salon, table à manger et grill. Le réservoir de propane et le nettoyant pour gril sont inclus. S'il vous plaît, faites-moi savoir si vous n'avez plus l'un ou l'autre.

I was so happy when I walked in the door - clean, charming, spacious, comfortable, and a very well equipped kitchen! Had a lovely week with my kids where we were able to spend quality time together and also all have our own space. Highly recommend and I will book this place again next time I visit!

Having never been in the area before, we were thrilled by the location for one - one block walk to great food and cocktails at the Imperial, local brewery, quaint city. Everything we were here to do was a short drive. And once back at Halcyon House, it offered every amenity we needed - great attention to detail, very welcoming setting, indoor and outdoor areas that are comfortable and relaxing. I speak for all 6 of us when I say this is a wonderful gem, a home away-from-home, with a host who is friendly and responsive (not that we needed anything!) We highly recommend!!!

We've lived in the Bay Area and North Bay for 40 years and this was the first time visiting this area. Amazing! No surprise that this property gets such high ratings-- it is well-deserved: It's plush, comfortable, spacious, thoughtfully appointed and well stocked. Loved the huge, inviting back patio-- shaded, comfy padded chairs, beautiful trees and flowers. Kitchen was a joy to cook in. We knew we were staying during days that the town was closed but it didn't matter-- had long morning hikes and an easy 10- minute drive to numerous wineries for tasting and lunch, and loved returning to the home to relax and cook dinner. We're already looking forward to next year's return! Many thanks for sharing your home!

Excellent place for a group. The house has everything we needed to have a fun and delightful time for our gals group. All very well thought out and well appointed. It was beautiful inside and out. Would definitely return when in the area.

Just returned from two nights at this lovely property! There were six of us friends on a wine tasting adventure! This home was by far the best VRBO I've had the experience of using! It was private and in a charming setting. The host was diligent in replying to my inquiries!
It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed, plenty of bath towels, etc!
I would recommend this to anyone who would be going to this area!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay! My sister just got married at Hotel Sutter but because my family is a larger than average we opted to get our own place instead of staying at the hotel.
This house was PERFECTION! It is so clean and comfortable plus it has everything you could possibly need!
I’m a self professed linen snob, the sheets and towels are lovely here, they even provide good toilet paper! The kitchen has all the utensils, appliances, dishes and serving ware you could possibly need.
I really appreciated the great extras, I brought a steamer but there was already one there with the iron.
My kids who had to share rooms appreciated how there was some privacy between the beds. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the setup and decorating of this home.
My 9 year old LOVED the backyard play space, it was a wonderful way for her to decompress after all the formal events of the weekend.
The location of the house is quiet, safe and secure. The hosts were easy to contact and there is also a local property manager if there is an immediate need.
If our family ever has a need to travel to the area again we will be staying here. Thank you!

Perfect place for 6 women to enjoy. House is clean, darling and is set-up with everything one would need.
We loved sitting out in the back patio watching deer walk past. The town is a very short walk and fun to explore. We are already planning our next girl's trip. Owner was very responsive. 5 star place for sure!

The house is lovely and wonderful for two couples traveling together because there is great privacy for each couple. Thehouse has everything you need and a lovely outdoor area for grilling or enjoying morning breakfast! Marilee is a great hostess and is a great communicator! It is a great location to visit local wineries, especially on the weekends. A lot of things are closed during the early week, but we loved the house and would highly recommend it!

We booked the Halcyon House to attend an event and celebrate a birthday. This house was just perfect. The backyard was so peaceful and welcoming. The walk into town was easy and there was a very fun event called Dancing in the Streets. We were having so much fun we didn't want to go to our event. Thank you Marilee for sharing your home with us and an extra big thank you for the "Happy Birthday" sign to welcome us. We can't wait to come back!

Five lifelong friends stayed here for our annual "girls trip." We've been doing this since 1997. Fabulous house - welcoming and comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. Marilee and Chris were wonderful! Stayed in many places in CA, Oregon and Washington and this was definitely one of the best! Hope to return!

We needed a rental to use as home base for our sons wedding in Sutter Creek and Halcyon House had us from the moment we saw the listing. A beautiful home, located on a quiet hill with gorgeous views no matter where you are looking. The home has plenty of space and all the comforts of home. Comfy beds, spacious areas to relax or entertain and just a lovely restored home.
I cannot say enough good things about Marilee! She saved the day in many ways with her suggestions and assistance in connecting us with people in the area to make our rehearsal dinner and stay a complete success. The house was simply the best...super clean, the kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were so comfortable. fireplace worked great. Our host was top notch, always responding within minutes to any questions we had. We were here for a wedding this trip but are already planning our return so we can enjoy the area and explore all the great towns, and we will definitely be staying at the The Halcyon House!

Gorgeous home - Loved our stay!
Stayed in Amador City for a family wedding. The house is lovely - spacious & nicely furnished! We enjoyed every morning and evening relaxing on the patio. Our host was exceptional. She responded immediately to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Perfect sisters weekend getaway!
My three sisters and I stayed for three nights and we could not have been more thrilled. The house is beautiful, so cozy, with every amenity you could want. The walking distance to the sweet quaint little town was just perfect! The host communicated with me every time I had a question as this was my first time renting a VRBO. I highly recommend this property!

Great house in great location
Very clean house in excellent condition. I love the way the bedrooms are set up so you can have kids or someone stay on a single bed with you. Beds are all super nice and comfy. We rented as an extra house for a bunch of family over holidays and it was perfect I think some are renting again with friends.

Great 3 night getaway with family
The house is charming and the perfect size for our family of 5 ( which includes 3 teenagers) with room to spare. The short walk to the little town of Amador made it the perfect location to walk to dinner or a glass of wine, and I especially appreciated the multiple coffee choices and devices. Lastly, the host responds amost instantly to any question and we will definitely be back!

Love coming back to Halcyon House!
Beautiful home for much needed family time. Wonderful tasting rooms, tavern, restaurants, shop - even a museum! - all within a very brief walking distance. Wineries, State Parks, and the Amador Flower Farm were hits on this trip. Bonus that we were able to watch the playoffs - our sports fans were very happy with the cable option, thank you very much. LOL. The house itself is well appointed with everything at our fingertips. It was actually a topic of conversation - whatever we thought we needed ended up being right in front of us. There was enough room for three couples and a toddler to relax, recoup, and reconnect. We can't wait to come back!

Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed a wedding at Rancho Victoria Winery, which was about a 6 mile drive. The house is nicely decorated and well furnished with all the comforts of home! Marilee was very accommodating to our needs. Thanks again!
