The villa is simply fantastic. Immaculately clean. Pool area is great and the games room is a massive bonus. Mark, the host, was excellent. Answered all questions before and during the visit and was there to greet us on arrival. Walking distance to 2-3 eating places - including one really good restaurant - a great little(cheap) locals bar and a good mini market. Ten mins in a cab to carvoiero. Would recommend unreservedly.

Good prestations for families We appreciate bedrooms with bathrooms. Add. More dishes should be necessary to cook.

The villa is situated in a quiet location with a glorious view down to the ocean. It has everything you could want from more than enough cutlery, glasses and crockery. 5x large bedrooms all en suite, with the what i would describe as the master suite having 2 sets of bifold windows and roof terraces with amazing views. The pool was large enough for all 8 staying to play water volleyball. The main living area is spacious and open plan on the first/ground floor and kitchen very well equipped. The lower floor has a great games room with pool table, darts and bar. Outside there is more than enough space to enjoy the Portugese sun all day, with a bbq area and seating. To sum up...if you get the chance to rent this superb property, jump at the chance...Carveiro is fantastic for nights out...Sesmaris has a local supermarket which is well stocked and has pastries, pain au chocolat for brekkie. It also has 2 small resturantes which serve good food...but for great cuisine Carveiro is the place to enjoy. For families there are 2x water parks within 10-15mins of the villa. But what really made the holiday was Mark (owner) whose communication leading up to the holiday was 1st class...he greeted us on arrival to show us around, and was even prepared to drive my partner down to Carveiro to pick up a hand made birthday cake...now thats is truly going above and beyond as a host.

A great villa for a large group, it was clean, spacious and superbly equipped. We made good use of the pool, barbecue and pool table. Great communication from Mark prior to and during our stay. Mid-stay clean was great. Location was good; nice and quiet and only a short drive into the town. A couple of lovely restaurants and a small supermarket within walking distance. We hired a car and enjoyed exploring the area. Would definitely recommend.

We all (4 adults and 4 children aged 13-17) really enjoyed our stay. Mark was excellent throughout the process, he was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a few tips on the local area, where to eat, shop etc. The villa was more than we expected, room sizes were great, they were exceptionally clean, great for socialising but we also all had our own space. Couldn’t have asked for more. Location is also very good, really close to Carvoeiro, Portimão, Golf courses beaches and not too far from Faro and Lagos. Overall we had a brilliant week in the Algarve and a big part of this was the villa. Would recommend this villa without hesitation.

From start to end everything was perfect. The Villa was exceptionally clean and surpass our expectation. Every single detail has been throughly thought about. Mark was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The Villa has 4 spacious rooms and a 5th on the lower floor. Easy reach to beach, shops, and restaurants. The children spent many hours in the wonderful pool which is surrounded by a fabulous patio garden. The games room with a pool table, bar and dart board was well used and enjoyed. We will be looking to rent the Villa again in the near future. Highly recommended and amazing support from Mark.

What a flexible property for a family group -great location, lovely pool and bedrooms which are a great size and all ensuite

Had an absolutely fabulous 2 weeks staying at Casa San Marco. The accommodation was second to none. The interiors were brilliantly finished throughout and all the facilities you could possibly think of were available at the villa. The bar and games room adjacent to the pool made for a really relaxing and fun time on our holiday.

Lovely modern, spacious, clean villa, within easy walking distance to a few restaurants and local bars in the village. Mark the host was very welcoming, will definitely be back. Great for a relaxing holiday .

The villa is just as in the pictures, bright and modern. There were a few things I wish I had been aware of before staying here. The 'blue' bedroom is situated in the basement to the rear of the games room and not accessible from the main house, because of this we chose not to use it. In August the sun is on the pool from about 10.30/11 am until 6pm. The pool is small, ok for a few games and to cool off but not really big enough for swimming. The electricity trips over and over again if you use the oven unless everything else is turned off. There are a few noisy dogs in the vicinity. All of this said we did have a good time and the villa has everything you need. Mark the property manager is extremely helpful and responds quickly to any issues, e.g. the pool pump failed whilst we were there and it was fixed within 48 hours.

What a great experience, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the host. The villa is modern, clean and well appointed. The services offered were up to our expectations and there is nothing to complain about home equipment (TV, wardrobe, furniture, kitchen, laundry)

A beautiful well maintained villa in a quite area, we had a lovely relaxing chilled out holiday at the villa. The owner agent Mark was very helpful prior to us visiting the property and during our stay. We were a family of four adults and would definitely return to the villa if we have the opportunity.

Mark was a wonderful host. We had the perfect holiday. The house is very big and very functional. The pool is great, very good filtering. It has everything you need to live, and everything is high quality. Very clean! Very calm neighbourhood, close to the beach (7min by Car), close to Portimão, walking distance to supermarket.

We have stayed at a few villas but this one has been the best. From the help Mark Cole gave us from local questions to hiring a car - excellent service!! To a villa which suited a group of 7 adults, there was plenty of space to have personnel space as well as communal areas. It was very well laid out and kept to a high standard. The location was great for us as we wanted a quiet place but with easy access to the local town - an evening walk of 40 minutes was lovely. Would definitely recommend villa, location and management.

We had a lovely 10 days at the villa. We are a family group of seven adults and there was more than enough room here for all of us. We spent many fun filled evening in the games room. All the rooms a spacious and it is very clean throughout. There are a few good places to eat and a little shop all in easy walking distance. We hired a car and enjoyed Ferragudo in the day and took a taxi there in the evening. Alvor was our favourite beach, miles of white sand and nice places to eat, it's a lovely old town. Mark was really helpful from our first contact with him when booking the villa. He met us at the villa on our arrival, gave us great information for our stay and did everything he could to make our stay perfect. Thank you Mark and team for a great holiday.

This is an ideal villa for a large family; we travelled with our son daughter and 3 grandchildren aged 9,7 and 5. The Villa is easy to find and is located in the quiet suburb of Sesmarias. The town of Carvorio is approx 4Ks away. The Villa is spacious and very well appointed with 5 bedrooms comfortable living room and modern kitchen with all necessary equipment. The basement has a great games room with pool table and bar with a cinema room with big screen TV and play station. The swimming pool is a good size with plenty of space for fun and games as well as a large area for relaxing. We were met by Mark who was very helpful in answering all our questions and queries, nothing was too much trouble. This is a wonderful villa to spend a great holiday and I have no hesitation in recommending.

This villa was perfect for our family. It was very comfortable, well furnished and ideally located. Mark was outstanding in helping us get oriented, answering questions and our requests. Sesmarias has a couple nice restaurants and a local shop for food within walking distance, and Carvoeiro is the closest beach and a wonderful small Portuguese village. Our family had a great time and would come back again.

Two family’s away for a week, the villa had everything we needed. The owners have thought of everything. 4 adults and 4 kids and we all had space. This villa was better than the pictures, highly recommended. Mark welcomes us and was on hand to check alls well. Helpful with local shopping and eating out places too. The pool and games area was excellent for kids and the grown ups. Highly recommended.

I would like to thank your agent Mark for meeting us at the property and taking care of any questions we had during our stay in Sesmarias. We had emails before and during our stay and nothing was too much trouble for him. The property was perfect, the rooms spacious and clean and exactly as described on the website, close to local restaurants and the seaside. Thnak you for a perfect property, we will definitely stay again.

We were a family of 6 adults and one child of 2.5yrs. The layout of the villa gave us ample space and the 5 en-suite bathrooms was a real clincher. All fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality and the place was spotlessly clean. Mark was on hand to welcome us in and gave a good account of all the facilities and was on hand to give advice help with any queries. The games room and downstairs TV room was a real bonus and enjoyed by all. We spend many hours playing darts and pool. The swimming pool itself was sparkling clean and we had hours of family fun as the weather was superb. We used the barbeque every day and with downstairs kitchen and dishwasher on hand this was really easy. In all if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a 5 star villa within 5 mins drive of Carvoerio you can't go wrong. Carvoerio itself has a wonderful vibe and we enjoyed a few evenings listening to live music which turns into and outside disco in the nicest possible taste. Good quality restaurants are plentiful but parking can tricky. You really need a car as its a very hilly 30 minute walk, but taxis are plentiful It was a special family holiday this year, but we had such a great time it wont be long before we return

We loved everything about this villa and its location. Completely spotless with everything thought of. Well equipped and literally home from home. Lives up to the beautiful photographs and more! Every room was gorgeous. We stayed for 2 weeks and got a mid-stay clean after the 1st week. The lady who cleaned, called Jo, was lovely and not only changed all the bed linen and towels but did a proper clean. Not many villas I have stayed in offer that level of service. Mark welcomed us on arrival which was a nice touch and was there at the end of phone if we had any questions during our stay. Our 2 boys, aged 10 and 12, loved the games room, as did my husband! WiFi could be pretty slow are times but that was not unexpected. There was a mini supermarket just 5 mins walk away that sold fresh bread each morning and a fabulous restaurant called Louisa next door to it. We ate there twice in the evenings and were not disappointed, although we did have to book. Another lovely restaurant 10 mins walk from the villa is Oregano, which is great for families. We hired a car and went to Carvoeiro most evenings as it had a huge selection of places to eat. You could walk to it but we opted for the car rather than the up hill hike back! I'd recommend hiring a car and taking advantage of visiting the nearby towns. The nearest beaches were quite small so very busy in July, however, we drove to Praia do Alvor (20 mins in car) and loved it there. Huge beach with 2 lovely restaurants. Overall I'd thoroughly recommend staying at this villa. We enjoyed many relaxing days by the pool. Very peaceful place to stay, great views from the top floor. We will definitely be back!

As a villa owner myself I can appreciate the problems and weekly issues a rented property can deliver. What we have experienced the last week is a beautifully renevated place that has AC in all rooms and fully modernised throughout. If you want your uk programmes the TV has those available. The pool was a lovely size for us. The downstairs bedroom is set up as a separate area with a pool table, TV & mini kitchen/fridge. Mark was at hand for any issues were any to arise , by phone or in person. Location is ideal with local restaurants a short walk or the 25min walk down to carvoeiro for a varied entertainment/food/shops , it's like a mini alberfueria. We hope to return and mark stated he has a good amount of booking already this year and some 2019 Book it as soon as you can and sit back with the knowledge you will Be renting a great holiday base for all the family/friends

Fabulous villa, had everything you need and more! Plenty of space and entertaining areas. Perfect for all ages. Mark was so helpful throughout the booking process and in person when we arrived and made sure we had everything for our 18 month old - thank you so much! Location wise also very good, some lovely restaurants nearby, particularly reccomend Lucia’s and Dos Santos. The latter is a newly opened microbrewery and the views and food (mainly tapas) were stunning!! Also half an hour walk into Caroveiro. Overall, a brilliant holiday! Take me back!

It’s so refreshing when your expectations are not only reached .... but surpassed! This villa is wonderful. Anyone who stays here will want to return. It is beautifully decorated and there is so much space for everyone. We had a family group including teenagers and the pool/games area was brilliant for them to enjoy their own space. On arrival, Mark showed us around and ensured we knew where everything was. There was even complimentary wine/beer to enjoy which was such a nice touch. Mark was on hand at all times and answered initial queries about tv and WiFi without any delay. If you need a fabulous villa in a peaceful, residential setting, this is it. Our only (very small) issue was that the pool was not heated and was chilly for the oldies in May (the young ‘uns didn’t care!). Mark said it was unusually cold the preceding months so other villa guests visiting in May will probably be fine. All in all, brilliant. Would definitely recommend. 😃�

Absolutely loved the villa. I’ve never stayed somewhere that’s so equipped for any occasion, Marks quite literally thought of everything. The villa itself is finished to such a high standard and I’m one of them annoying people who likes to point things out being a builder myself but this place was rather impressive! With the villa being a very short taxi ride into a town (which I can’t rembember the name of) with plenty of bars and restaurants it was the perfect location for us, out the way enough from the “riff raff” but close enough to go into town every evening for food and drinks. Mark was absolutely brilliant at helping out with questions and any struggles we had. I wouldn’t have to think twice about going back, had a blast!
