Recent stay at Gibbes Villa with myself and 4 friends… The place was clean and tidy and the reality was very much in keeping with the images on line. The Property Manager, Lorraine was very helpful before, and during our stay, with nothing being too much trouble. Perfect for our needs, and we would definitely return… Excellent value for money…

This property was amazing, we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful place. The owner and the manager were so helpful and made the stay really relaxed. Lorraine helped us book some great outings and was available throughout to contact if we needed anything. I'd totally recommend this property.

my stay was excellent, from start to finish.from the moment i booked burce was great, very easy to get hold off and quick to respond.I had a slight problem after booking he was very helpful and understanding. The villa is amazing you have everything you want and more, definitely home from home.lot's of towels for use in the villa and beach.we were a family of different age's the kids loved the pool and made good used of it especially my 10year old great Granddaughter she loves the villa made herself very at home from the moment we walk in.The villa is within easy access to bus, beach, gas station for all your little essentials, if you drive even better as you have speightstown less than 10min with supermarket and other amenities. Lorraine the manager is brilliant she make you feel so easy that you can approach her for anything, she contacted me before we left for our trip, once we landed she was in contact all the way until we arrive at the villa. Once she showed us everything,she drove my grandson to the shop to get some things to get us started.Lorraine kept in contact making sure we were ok. I would highly recommend Gibbs Villa you will not regret it, myself and my family would definitely be back and knows exactly where we will be staying. Also Bruce provides you with all the different information you would need to help you. Thank you Bruce for a lovely villa. just also mentioned the cleaner, very nice lady, and not forgetting the pool guy

The house was so beautiful and bright. The hosts have thought of every little detail and thing you could possibly need on your stay. The checking process was smooth and Lorraine was very helpful. The pool was perfect and my daughter loved it and we all made great use of the outside space as well as the BBQ. Would highly recommend and would love to return someday. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were great for our family of 6 adults and 2 young children and the villa was great as an outdoor living villa, opening up to a good back patio and pool area. We’ve been to the Gibbs/Mullins area several times before and the villa location in Gibbs Glade meant we knew the area, with easy access to the beautiful Gibbs beach. Lorraine the property manager was great - we didn’t have much cause to contact her during our stay except for one thing and she attended to that quickly. She was also really helpful in resolving a last minute issue with something we left behind - thanks again Lorraine! There did seem to be quite a bit of construction going on in the area and so some mornings could be a bit noisy, though neither the property owner nor manager have any control over that of course. It did make me wonder whether there’s any scope to limit such activity during peak tourist season, given how vital tourism is to the island. It was overall a much anticipated vacation, over all too soon of course. We’d certainly love to come back sometime!

We were a group of 3 couples staying at Gibbs Villa before boarding a ship in Bridgetown. It had everything we needed and was in a very nice location. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance as were the beaches and the garage up the road was very handy for essentials. There was a convenient cut though to Highway 1 which was handy and we caught a reggae reggae bus a couple of times, an experience in itself. My husband and I being the eldest of the 3 couples think a car would have been beneficial to get around a bit more, but perhaps that’s our age! Lorraine the villa manager couldn’t have been more helpful and purchased some essential shopping for when we first arrived and arranged for Dave the taxi driver to pick us up at the airport and to take us to the port on our departure. Our only negative was it would have been nice to have some cushions on the outside dining chairs as we spent a whole lot of time sitting on them chatting and eating/drinking and they were a bit hard after a while! Other than that thank you Bruce for the use of your villa.

This villa is perfect for a family or group holiday. We were a group of 2 families with toddlers and it was just what we wanted. Great size, amazing pools and lovely location. Car needed for sure with kids but everything is very accessible and close.

Lovely villa. Lorraine, the property manager was lovely and contact with the owner beforehand was great. Unfortunately, there were builders and digging in the villa opposite for a few days, which was a little annoying! Would stay again.

Excellent location, walking distance to beach and beach bar was a big thing for us. The villa was immaculate and well equipped Lorraine the property manager was so lovely and very helpful nothing any trouble our host also very helpful before our trip Will definitely be booking again !!

This was the perfect place for our girls getaway for a birthday self-care time for a group of mature ladies. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and calming, the property was immaculately kept, the service up to, during and after the stay was thoughtful and speedy: whenever I contacted the owner (Bruce) or caretaker (Lorraine) they were quick to reply. They gave helpful tips on what we could do during our stay. The place just exudes relaxation. We rented our own transportation during our stay as the property is not easily reached on foot, but it was perfect for our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a most memorable vacation...ideally located Villa near to grocery...restaurants..Thunder Bay beach..Villa in very good condition..Lorraine made sure all was in order for our stay...our baby ten month twins fully enjoyed the pool...we will certainly be back...thanks again Bruce and Lorraine

Bruce, what a fantastic time our family had in Barbados. Your villa is lovely and we all especially enjoyed the pool. Your Property Manager was very helpful and she couldn’t have been more accommodating with all our questions and needs. Our expectations were exceeded.

First class accommodation, had everything we needed. Bruce was quick to reply to any queries. Lorraine the housekeeper was always on hand and extremely helpful. Could not fault this property.

We knew exactly what we were getting, as this was our second visit to Bruce’s fabulous villa! An ideal location, a short walk to two of the best beaches on the island, Mullins made even more attractive since the Sea Shed arrived. The villa is extremely well equipped for either three or four couples or a large family. The pool is larger than some other, more expensive, properties. What more can I say, other than we’re already planning to return for a third time in 2023!

The villa was lovely very spacious, and nothing was too much trouble,Bruce always responded and was very helpful accommodating all our changes due to covid , Lorraine showed us around on arrival and even got us some provisions to keep us going until able to find the supermarket, she answered any queries promptly and was always helpful . We would recommend the Caribbean chefs to cater for you and also to prebook any restaurant prior to travelling , there was limited availability for 7 in most good restaurants, Another tip would be ,to order groceries to be delivered to the villa online from massy store . Delivery cost 15 Bajan .Thanks to Bruce and Lorraine for great holiday we would definitely come back

Gibbes is an amazing property, well maintained,has everything you need , great location ,close to Gibbes beach , Mullins Bay ,Speightstown , Holetown and easy drive to Bridgetown . Bruce was very responsive with all of our questions before arriving in Barbados and Lorraine who lives in Barbados answered any questions we had and was available for whatever we needed. We already recommended this property to other family members! Bruce and Lorraine thank you !

Beautiful, well equipped house in a nice neighbourhood with 2 lovely beaches in easy walking distance. The property is large and immaculately kept with lovely gardens and pool. Communication from Bruce the owner was great and Lorraine the property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to return soon!

We appreciate Bruce so much for helping us prepare for our family trip which sadly was cancelled due to covid/isolation. Thankful for his understanding and refund considering the circumstances. Never made it to the property!

Given various lockdowns and uncertainty- Bruce was super helpful and flexible with our booking - we finally made it out in October and had a great time. The villa has a nice pool and garden and each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a laundry room which was good for our long stay. If you like watching tv there is a small den but we would rather be outside watching the fireflies at dusk. Good location just a few minutes in the car from several beaches and a walk to one of our favourites (gibbes) - no beach bars / chairs etc just beautiful sea and sand

We have just returned from a stay at Gibbs Glade, and found everything to be just as we hoped it would be. The location is perfect, a 5 minute amble to either Gibbs or Mullins beach, both of which are picture perfect. Our host and his team proved equal to our expectations from other reviews. The house, pool and entire holiday were magic......thanks to all including the Legend Garden family, who helped make our holiday such fun.

The house is fully stocked with everything you need - the beds are very comfortable and our family had lots of space for everyone to spread out and do online school. The office was a nice addition. Great villa, great location and a five minute walk to Mullins beach, which I think is the best beach in Barbados! The owner Bruce and the house manager couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was perfect.

Gibbes Villa was a lovely home to spend two weeks in Barbados. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, beautiful birds, green monkeys, and everyone so friendly.. The house is open and large, allowing for privacy when you want it, but cozy enough to feel close with family for a card game or dinner together. We hired a private chef, as recommended by the owner, who’s meals turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. I recommend you have Dane cater your first night, it helps a lot after long travel days and before you have an opportunity to grocery shop. Catered meals made our arrival and other busier days sight seeing so much easier. Thank you to Lorraine for taking us to the grocery store the first night as well. We were able to pick up a few essentials for the 6 of us - this was not the usual property manager thing to do, we were grateful. Our family enjoyed their vacation at Gibbes Villa and truly did not want to leave!
