great location for Croyde & village

Gorgeous place to stay, with fabulous view, we sat outside to eat our breakfast, it was like sitting in Peter Rabbit's garden! Friendly host, great location, we would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous little apartment which had everything we needed and the views from the windows were to die for, will definitely be staying there again!

Everything you could want was there for breakfast and location was splendid views were really lovely cows at bottom of garden very peaceful and quiet.

nice location in terms of not a busy place, however was close to the beach so was an easy 5-10 min drive

I found the bed slightly hard if I was being super critical. but nothing significant.

Unfortunately our stay was completely ruined on day 2 when we returned from our day out to be interrogated by the owners as to why we felt the need to wash the bedding, baring in mind we just had record temperatures- my partner is also on medication and a side affect is night sweats. We used the washing machine provided and hung the bedding out before we headed out for the day. We arrived back around 9:30/10pm and as we came to our door we were met by the owners. They couldn't believe that we took it apon ourselves to wash our bedding (who wants to sleep in a sweaty bed?! 🤣) The woman made a sarcastic comment about the place better be tidy when we leave so I asked if she would like to inspect it, which she said yes. Much to her surprise the place was spotless, we are nearly 30 years old and felt like teenagers getting a row off their parents. The woman assumed we were having parties/drinking and had trashed the place or something, she said she felt ill all day worrying about her house, to which we said why didn't you just message us and we would have explained. I was left on the phone in tears to family back home, we have NEVER been made to feel like is and definitely will not return. The place could be cleaner, dusty areas/dirty marks and a bag of nails left behind the TV.
