the cottage is a small and cute and perfect for our stay. all clean, everything you need, comfortable bed … just loved it!

Beautifully furnished cottage with more facilities than expected including dish washer, coffee machine, etc. absolutely spotless, hosts were very warm, welcoming and friendly. Great location, about 10mins drive from Alton Towers. Will definitely visit again!

Location excellent for touring the Peak District. Very quiet at night. Lovely walks right from front door.

Nothing was to much an extra pillow or some great places to eat, everyone was very friendly

Fabulous amenities, plenty of space & the most comfortable bed, duvet and pillows. Very close to Whiston Hall Hotel where we were attending a wedding

One of the bedrooms has a velux window without blind which let the light in and disturbed one of our party

we rented this property for 2 nights as we were visiting Alton towers and wanted something close by, waterside cottages met our expectations as it was only 7-8 miles away. it was an additional bonus as the cottage was very cosy and comfortable for my family of 5.

The only issue we had was the bedrooms upstairs were pretty hot but that was cause of the heatwave we encountered, however there were plenty of fans available.

Nearby restaurants will require transport to get to and some restaurants/bars don’t serve food at the start of the week

The property was very cleanly and tidy. it was in a nice quiet area and the host was very accommodating, he even showed us all the animals on the property!

boiler can be a bit iffy but the hosts sort it straight away. it never impacts our stay

Bluebell Cottage is an exceptionally clean, warm compact and well equipped holiday cottage. Perfect for two. The decor and furnishings are of a very high quality and beautifully matched. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a lovely warm (feather) duvet and plump feather pillows. The kitchen was one of the best self catering cottage kitchens we have had, in terms of quality cooking utensils and equipment provided. The owners were really helpful and friendly. We were offered freshly laid eggs from the farm, and met Larry the three day old lamb. Such a delight. Great location for gorgeous walks and cycle rides straight from the door. Cycle hire on the farm if you haven't brought your own bikes. The owners were kind enough to let us store, and charge, our bikes in their lock up. Local shop and pub within walking distance.
