viajamos dos familias(pareja y dos niños + pareja y niños) y la casa es muy cómoda fueron todo facilidades por parte del propietario. Estaba muy limpia y lista para su uso. La piscina, corta distancia a la playa, barbacoa, amplias zonas alrededor de la casa y la posibilidad de tener la casa con aire acondicionado hicieron nuestra estancia inolvidable y sin duda en nuestra lista a repetir. Recomendable 10/10

Very well located villa with just a short walk done to the beach front. Bolnuevo is less tourist and more Spanish and long may that continue - enough restaurants to choose from without it being ‘touristy’ - the villa has good indoor and outdoor space with a sizeable main living area and good air con to keep you cool. Pool is large enough and we had great fun shooting hoops from the pool into the basketball net! Very accommodating check-in/out staff did all they could to help us and everything we found was as per the listing (which isn’t always the case!) Slight issues with power surges tripping out the electric but always sorted itself within a few minutes and who doesn’t expect this from Spanish electrics...... Overall I would highly recommend the villa and the location.

We had a great stay and the villa is well equiped. There is TV via internet with a wide selection of channels and also box sets and films. There were times when it suffered from buffering issues but overall a nice addition to the Spanish TV normally available. The pool was also good. It has a uniform depth of about 4' 6". The only downside was my wife used it less as she had difficulty climbing up and down the ladder, there are no roman steps for easy access. Thank you Dave and Jules

Just spent two weeks at Steve's place in Bolnuevo. We - all 8 of us, two couples with kids - had a wonderful time. The house is almost perfect, in a very nice and peaceful neighborhood with spacious bedrooms, a tiny but practical kitchen, a nice living room and space outdoor for the kids to play. The pool is definitely a plus and, believe me, is much bigger than the images suggest. On the down side, just some minor details, like the hypersensitive electrical switchboard - a tradition in spain... -, some aging kitchen utensils and electrical appliances - we left some extra knives and forks, and a small new coffee maker for the next guests -, and two of the four bedrooms without AC. All in all, we had a great time and... we'll probably be back.

Maison très agréable et jolie qui mériterait un peu de rafraîchissement, notamment dans les salles de bains (problèmes robinetterie). Dommage que le ménage ne soit pas fait à fond, il a fallu en faire en arrivant. Mais Bolnuevo est une ville agréable et le quartier calme et joli. Très bon séjour à refaire.

We have just enjoyed 2 great weeks at this villa. The service from the owner and the local agent Sue was top notch. They are both very professional and very helpful. They even gave us some free extra air conditioning credits after we got stuck in the villa for a few days due to my son getting a dodgy stomach during a heatwave. The villa felt like a home from home. Plenty of space for everybody both inside and out. We spent many hours together on the porch area just outside the main living room through the patio doors. We also enjoyed a couple of barbecues at the barbecue next to this area. The pool was a very good size with plenty of space for swimming due to it being the same depth throughout. Plus the basketball hoop was great fun. My wife and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom. This connected to the downstairs bathroom which had a door to the pool area. Great for early morning dips in the pool. Due to the design of the villa it always has some areas of shade and some areas of sun throughout the day. Whilst it is very close to the adjoining properties it remains very private as one of the properties is fully screened off and the people in the other property have put up curtains and blinds on the upper floors that stayed in place all the time. But they seem quite friendly as they returned the ball we accidentally knocked over the high wall between the properties. The villa was well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment and great water pressure. The TV was excellent, with access to Amazon TV, Netflix and Kodi. The location of the villa is excellent too. Being an easy walk to the excellent Cafe Colonia and the local Dia supermarket. The pick up point for the road train to Puerto de Mazzarron (next to the post box, you can buy a return ticket for 3 euros per person at the campsite reception) and the superb beach front are only 10 minutes walk away too. You do not need a car. Another positive for us was that the villa was not overly decorated. It was clean and welcoming but we did not feel like we were staying in somebody else's home and there wasn't too much to get accidentally damaged. The electrics did cut out from time time time but that is just how Spanish electrics seem to work and it was easy to reset. The villa is showing a few signs of age (some small pool tiles coming off) but nothing serious and nothing that affects your stay. In summary, we loved it here and we are already planning to come back in 2 years time.

Property is spacious, well situated for beach and all amenities and is also completely private.

We stayed at the villa in August for 2 weeks; 2 adults and 4 kids, 3 of which are teenagers, and we all enjoyed our time here. It's a really lovely villa in a peaceful residential location. We didn't hire a car and found the beach, shops and restaurants of Bolnuevo to be in easy walking distance, although it's a bit of a hill on the return walk! There is a land train to nearby Puerto De Mazzaron where we highly recommend dinner at Viggos (we ate there for my daughter's birthday and our last night and both times the food and service was excellent). We also walked along the beautiful stretch of beach (virtually deserted by day but busier in the evenings when people finish work) to Playa Grande and we also caught buses to Mazzaron and Cartegena so it is possible to get about without a car, however it is a quiet, Spanish area so you may want to explore further. The villa was just perfect for our relaxed, family holiday and there is plenty of space so you do not feel like you are all on top of one another! It is well equipped and nicely furnished. The pool and outside shower were much needed in the heat and we enjoyed several evenings staying in for a family barbecue. Steve, the owner, was excellent from booking right through to departure and was always extremely friendly and helpful. Equally so was Sue who deals with the keys for the villa in the resort. Overall we had a wonderful stay here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we wanted to return to this area of Spain or to recommend it. Thank you Steve for letting us stay in your beautiful Spanish home.

Beautiful villa perfect for my family. Just a short stroll to beach with lots of restaurants. Easy to get to the port. Had a pleasant stay, will book again.
