We loved our 5 night stay in this comfortable apartment with amazing views. The village itself is so quaint, with narrow streets lined with colorful flower pots and stunning views around every corner. We enjoyed having our coffee and cava on the deck at the apartment while watching the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. Mijas was a great home base with day trips to Ronda, Nerja, Marbella and Torremolinos all easy to get to. The nice pool area was a bonus! Would definitely recommend booking here, Maite and Ian were easy to communicate with and made the whole process very easy, thank you!

Amazing apartment in a great location. Five minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Mijas with the shops, bars and restaurants, but the apartment itself is tranquil with wonderful views from the roof terrace down to the coast. Apartment has everything you could possibly need, is beautifully furnished, modern and comfortable. We loved it and will definitely be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mijas Pueblo! The wonderful views are exactly as shown and the apartment is well outfitted. The apartment location is very peaceful despite the proximity to the bustling tourist town. It’s more ‘touristy’ than we expected but we quickly learned our way around some sneaky paths. (Be prepared - the roads are tight for driving and it isn’t really flat anywhere for walking.) It’s a great base to visit Fuengirola, Malaga and Marbella. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The apartment was spotless and so well equipped. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Mijas. The pool was an excellent added extra - warm enough even in mid October. Lovely balcony with great views and a really comfy bed. The parking space was also useful. Lots of places to visit for days out but we just loved being in the apartment and in Mijas.

We had a brilliant time at this fantastic apartment. It was so comfortable and equipped with absolutely everything we needed . The views were lovely and it was so bright and welcoming . Fantastic check in from Maite and all communication with owner was super too . We felt privileged to be in Mijas for the start of the Easter celebrations and absolutely loved the restaurants and general ambience of the village . Thank you and we hope to be back soon .

This is a fantastic property to enjoy a restful holiday in a truly idyllic location. It is just a few minutes walk in to town. The apartment has everything you should need including a large balcony with comfortable furniture and a truly spectacular view of the south side of fuengirola and the sea. The apartment even had some binoculars so you could look at the view in detail. You will have good communication with your host who is very helpful. I would be happy to come again.

The apartment is really lovely, home from home with everything you need. Location was great with the amenities of Mijas a 5 min walk away. The pool area is idyllic for a quiet sunbath or a splash about in the pool. I can’t fault one thing from our holiday, from start to finish we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended to all!

We have just returned recently from a very enjoyable 11 day holiday in Mijas, based in Ian's lovely apartment which is exactly as described on the HomeAway website. Its location on the edge of the village is beautiful, with panoramic views right down to the Costa del Sol. The apartment itself is modern and spacious with large balcony furnished both for eating and relaxing. The interior is tastefully decorated, has a really well equipped kitchen, and a fantastic master suite. The swimming pool at rooftop level is a real bonus, - a lovely pool and an immaculately kept surrounding area with sun loungers and sunshades. The apartment is ideally located, a steep but pleasant 5 minute walk into the village which, although busy with tourists, we were delighted to find has retained much of its character - we spent many hours exploring the myriad of cobbled streets and pathways and also took time to visit the local museums and the Contemporary Art Centre, all worth a visit. Eating out in Mijas was a real treat, given the range of cafes and restaurants and we also enjoyed doing some 'home cooking' using fresh local produce from the lovely municipal market on Calle San Pilar just a few minutes from the apartment. We didn't hire a car on this holiday but found the local bus service an ideal way to get around, both down to the coast (we enjoyed La Cala de Mijas) or to visit other locations inland. Finally, but by no means least, we want to highlight the wonderful service we received initially from Ian at booking stage and then from Maite (and Bill) for their warm and friendly welcome and the wealth of information and advice they provided during our stay.. Given this lovely apartment and this level of service we would have no hesitation in recommending Ian's apartment to others looking for high quality accommodation in a beautiful location - we look forward to another visit in the future.

The apartment is an excellent, well equipped and well proportioned flat on the second floor with lovely views. The balcony has sun loungers as well as table and chairs so you can enjoy outside space. Bed really comfortable and fab powerful shower, kitchen has everything you need to cook a three course meal. 5 mins walk from the lovely town of Mijas Pueblo where there are bars, restaurants and shops in abundance. Great access to motorway for visits around the South. Brilliant holiday and a wonderful rest had by the both of us - thank you. Ian and Maite very helpful hosts.

This apartment is stylishly furnished and well equipped, the balcony is a great size very private with super views of mijas and the coast. It is very spacious inside with two large bathrooms one of which has just been completely renovated to a high standard, would definitely recommend and would return. The owners are very helpful and easy to contact and are well supported by Maite and Bill who welcome you and look after the apartment for the owners.

Ian’s apartment was very clean and tidy. He has all the kitchen equipment you would require on holiday. The rooms are generous in size. The balcony is excellent with spectacular views towards the coast. The roof top terrace and pool access is a real perk. Again offering great views. A dedicated parking space was ideal. His prior to arrival emails and instructions were very clear and straight forward. Great location, perfect holiday. Thanks Ian.

This was our 2nd stay at Ian's lovely apartment.Again we enjoyed every minute. The convenience of being able to walk into the village and forget about driving is a true bonus. Mijas, as ever, continues to charm.We'll be back.

We spent two fantastic week's in this well presented and immaculately clean apartment. I would highly recommend this place . The views from the balcony and surrounding area are stunning. The maid is extremely helpful letting us leave our cases while she finished off cleaning then texting me when the apartment was ready The apartment has everything you need even boasting a dishwasher and washing machine. During our stay the temperature was reaching in excess of 30 degrees but this didn't concern us as the air conditioning was excellent. Overall I can say this apartment turned a great holiday into a fantastic one. We will definitely return. Neal Oglesby

Had a lovely week long stay in the beautiful village of Mijas Pueblo and was so lucky to have found this apartment with fantastic views from the balcony down to the sea of Fuengarola. The Apartment itself is well equipped with everything you could need almost home from home .The pool area on the roof is very peaceful and relaxing not very large but adequate for cooling down . Parking is under apartment block in garage accessed by touch key to open doors . It is quite a hilly walk upto the village centre but is only 5 mins away to the beautiful village restaurants and quirky shops . Would definitely stay in the apartment again and would recommend.

Beautiful clean apartment with everything catered for. Fantastic views and is quiet in the evening but only a short walking distance to bars etc although it is uphill. The village is a magical place with lots of places to eat and sit and watch the world go by. Great bus service to explore the surrounding areas. We didnt have a car and it was no problem.

This is our favourite apartment we have ever stayed in! It is really like a home from home! With washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, decent pans, great knives for food prep absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable homely stay. The terrace is cool & shady when the sun is hot & has a fabulous view across Fuengirola & the Med. The rooftop pool has panoramic views right across the Costa Del. sol & is a great place for a bit of sun worship. My only minor point is that there is a fairly steep hill into & back from the village, so probably not ideal for those with walking or fitness issues. Otherwise - simply the best!

We stayed here for a week at the start of July and discovered this apartment is a little gem in a beautiful location. Ian is very good at providing you with all the info you need for your stay prior to arrival and responds quickly to any questions. We found the apartment very clean and welcoming on arrival, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The lounge is large and spacious with an open plan kitchen, which is fully equipped with everything you could need. We made particular use of the juicer, to make fresh orange juice every morning to go with the abundance of fresh bread available in the shops. The master bedroom is large with a wonderful view looking down towards the sea and coastal towns, which was brilliant to wake up to each morning. The bathrooms are also spacious and well decorated. But the main attraction of this property is the large balcony which is equipped with a with a table to dine at and seating to relax on with a glass of wine, whilst you take in the wonderful views and remind yourself how well you have done choosing this property for your stay. The apartment is in a secure block with underground parking if you hire a car, which keeps it nice and cool as well as safe. The roof top shared pool is quiet and loungers/parasols are provided in abundance. The pool is warm as it gets the sun all day, just right for cooling off, although we found the terrace too hot to stay on for more than an hour. The cleaner Matie is very friendly and helpful. She will tell you all the places to visit and is contactable all the time by text message, should you have any problems. Mijas is a lovely village with a great mix of bars, restaurants and shops. Although it is only small there is always something to see and do, we spent a lot of time wandering around with the occasional beer break to do some people watching. At first we found the hilly nature of the village quiet hard (especially in the heat) but after a couple to days we no longer noticed. If you plan on dining out, we would recommend finding the secret garden. You will be amazed by the beauty and tranquillity, plus the food is good and reasonably priced. We are already making arrangements for our return, thank you Ian for letting us stay at your great property.

A fantastic location, a few minutes walk away from the bustling heart of this beautiful Spanish village with amazing views out to the coast from the balcony. It was wonderfully equipped, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. There is such a lot of things to do in and around Mijas. We enjoyed walking to the shrine up the mountainside, visiting the museums and gift shops, watching the free flamenco in the square and of course people-watching in the array of bars and restaurants! We would love to visit again and are recommending this apartment to our friends and family.

We found the property excellent. Four of us rented the apartment and it met all our requirements. The housekeeper met us on arrival explained all about the apartment and also recommended a few restaurants she will also be available if there are any issues, which I'm sure there won't be.

Lovely apartment with great views. The apartment wa clean,comfortable and spacious. The beds were comfortable and both bathrooms had baths as well as showers. Kitchen was all the equipment you could need. The balcony was large and the views gorgeous. The apartment was very quiet but a 5 to 10 minute walk took you into the village with a large selection of restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Im very pleased that we chose to stay in this apartment rather than our usual place. Not having to use a car to get to the village was very handy with everything being within 5 minutes walk away. The apartment was very clean and had everything that we needed. The rooftop pool was a lovely sun trap offering great views to the coast. We would happily stay here again

This was our third stay at this apartment & we are booking to come back next year. It's in an ideal setting, so close to the beautiful village of mijas pueblo. The bars & restaurants offer fantastic food & value for money & are on your doorstep. Ian is very good with everything, I would definitely recommend this apartment, it's spacious, has a lovely balcony & I get my washing done before I go home, which makes things so much easier.

Spent two weeks in this superb apartment which lived up well to the description. Location permits short uphill walk into the village where Mijas offers a great range of bars and restaurants most of which are reasonably priced. The balcony offers the opportunity to take in the fantastic views down to Fuengirola and the Mediterranean beyond and to watch the horses and donkeys making their way from or to their stables. Although we had a car it was hardly necessary unless wanting to go down to the coast. There is ample bus and taxi availability. being in Mijas during the annual festival also gave us lots of free entertainment. Bonus! Great apartment. Great place. Great time.
