Wonderful time in a beautiful place with great hosts

The hosts and property were fantastic! We had a fun, relaxing time and would definitely return!

So i booked the morning glory cabin, because of an honest mistake we ended up in the sunset cabin! Both cabins are beautiful and an equally wonderful stay. So needless to say i was happy with the sunset cabin! We were greeted with a warm welcome when we got there and throughout our stay. During our stay my girlfriend n i enjoyed the quaint towns, food and horse back riding! We look forward to making this a tradition. Thank you for everything!

Clean & well stocked Cabin. Horse friends always await you outside. Very scenic & peaceful. Thomas & Davis towns about 25 min. away along with hiking, lookout areas & waterfalls.

This was our third time staying in one of Barb and Dan’s cabins in Dryfork. All three experiences were wonderful. Lots of wildlife near the cabin to see and the cabins themselves are well-maintained and inviting to guests - all the amenities that you will ever need or that you may have forgotten packing will be in their expected places here. This visit, my wife and I had a flat tire and Dan was kind enough to bring an air compressor and recommend a shop, Dave’s. Dan also called the shop first thing in the morning which resulted in us being able to get the tire plugged in less than 10 minutes. Without Dan’s help and recommendation, we’d likely still be waiting somewhere in WV to get our tire fixed. Can’t recommend this cabin or the hosts enough. Looking forward to a 4th stay with them sooner than later.

My brother come here every fall to enjoy colors, mountain bike,hike etc. Cabin is prefectly located along Rt 32 corridor for access to Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks and Blackwater Canyon Bike trail. Barb and Dan have the cabin well appointed and stocked. It is clean and neat (not overly cluttered). Hot tub a plus after hard day's hick or bike ride. We will be back next year.

It was a phenomenal stay, from the area to the cabin. The views were spectacular and it was a wonderful way to relax for a week!

The cabin is great and the design is beautiful. Lots of things to do around the area as well. The area is amazing and so peaceful. Definitely a great place to get away. We definitely plan on coming back in the future, this was a great experience and we loved it here!

Thank you to Barb and Dan, you have an absolutely beautiful property. If you’re considering renting this VRBO, you won’t be disappointed. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. Impeccably clean, well-maintained, and everything you can ask for in one location. The neighbors were so friendly, and even stopped to wish us safe travels home as we packed our SUV. We will definitely be back. It met all of our expectations and more!

You have everything you need and a beautiful view. The cabin is amazing. You really don’t need to bring much with you. The host is very hospitable and the neighbors allow you to enjoy their horses & sweet donkey. Very clean and not far from most hiking destinations. Thanks again for a wonderful anniversary trip.

We love this cabin. It is so beautiful and peaceful. Dan and Barb are great. The visits from the horses and donkey were great. Love the hot tub and sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. We sat on the porch during a thunder storm. Enjoyed the awesomeness of God. We had a wonderful weekend. We will definitely go back.

This is our second stay at the Morning Glory. Perfect access to Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Davis, and Thomas. Dan and Barb are perfect hosts. Morning Glory is quiet, relaxing. Just perfect.

Morning Glory cabin is a beautiful cabin in a secluded private neighborhood with amazing scenery. The cabin is immaculate and has everything you need. The owners are very welcoming and there if you need anything. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Barb and Dan's cabin was spot on as described. They thought of every detail, need and comfort. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. We will be going back to experience the Sunset Cabin soon.

My husband and I booked this wonderful little gem for an anniversary get-away, and it was fantastic! Very very peaceful neighborhood!! The homes and cabins are nice and spread out so there is plenty of privacy. Dan and Barb are so very personable and go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable. So many nice little extra touches and nice furnishings. The bed was comfy! Dan showed up just about 2 minutes after we pulled in to welcome us, and then after a dinner engagement, he made a point of returning later that evening to show us how to operate the hot tub. I fell in love with the horses and the little donkey that sometimes grazed in the yard. I always had to go across the street and give them some lovings. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer graze in each morning and evening, and listening to the bullfrogs and tree frogs at night. It was a very easy to drive up to the little towns of Thomas and Davis, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Resort. I'm ready to book it again! In the Summer we traveled in our Honda Civic, but I can see where one would need 4-wheel drive in the Winter, or maybe even early Spring. WVA weather can be very fickle, so you always need to plan accordingly. But it is quite LOVELY!! I don't know how anyone could be disappointed with this sweet little cabin!! Thank you, Dan and Barbara for everything!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Morning Glory cabin. It was clean and well cared for- stocked with everything you could need. The owners are personable, generous and a true joy to talk with. The setting is tranquil and promotes total unplugging. We loved interacting with our horse and donkey friends too. It was a great place to restore my soul! I would definitely recommend.

Dan and Barb are amazing people and amazing hosts! The cabin and the neighborhood is absolutely gorgeous. Everything you need is right at the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking on the grill and fire pit, sitting by the fire under the stars, and the hot tub. The neighbors horses (and donkey) are so friendly and silly. We had so much fun spending time with the horses, that we made a special trip to the store for apples and carrots! Honestly, if it wasn’t for the fact we didn’t want to miss out on exploring the surrounding towns, we would have just stayed at the cabin all day. It really was “almost heaven”!!! Dan and Barb supplied us with many suggestions of places to visit while in town and we did take advantage of some suggestions. To us, Spruce Knob was breath taking. WV is a gorgeous place! We couldn’t help but say how much we wished we could stay at Morning Glory Cabin forever. Everyone was just so friendly and welcoming and they really made our trip so very special. We hope to visit again one day! We are so very thankful Dan and Barb allowed us the opportunity to come stay at their cabin. Thank you Dan and Barb for sharing a slice of heaven with us!!!

Had an amazing time. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Many interesting places nearby to hike and explore! Dan and Barbara did an excellent job at making sure our stay was exceptional.

This cabin is beautifully crafted, well-appointed, and in a very peaceful location close to many great hiking areas (Dolly Sods, Canaan Valley, Blackwater Falls), as well as the charming towns of Davis and Thomas. My adult daughter and I really enjoyed this Memorial Day weekend getaway! Lovely horse corral outside made for the best possible neighbors. ;)

We had an absolutely amazing stay, the pictures do not do this place justice. It was adorable inside and out and so peaceful. The owners were very hospitalable and made sure we had everything that we needed. Waking up every morning and being able enjoy the scenery as well as the horse vistors was delightful. We hope to visit again soon.

Perfect little cabin. Everything you may need it has. Great location, great host, great neighbors and on top of all that there are two horses and a donkey always watching and lingering for rubs, hugs and snacks. We will definitely be coming back. If nothing else just to spend some downtime and visit with Dan and Barb.

Barbara and Dan were phenomenal hosts. The cabin was adorable and homey. We were supplied with everything we needed and received great recommendations for hiking and dining. Would definitely stay again!

If you think of a well appointed quintessential cabin in WV this is it! We lit a fire in the wood fireplace, watch the horses & donkey across the road, sat in the hot tub looking up at the stars. We headed over to Canaan twice and went skiing. It’s close to some great places to eat. The cabin is immaculate. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need. Barb and her husband are the nicest people. Her husband stopped by to show us how to use the hot tub. My boyfriend talked to him for about 20mins about common interests. I’d highly recommend staying here and I hope we visit again!

We have been repeat guests and just love staying back here in these cabins with the most wonderful hosts you will ever have. If your looking for a relaxing get away with all you need to relax then look no further…. Stay here! You will LOVE! Thank you again, Dan and Barb❤️

Cozy, romantic stay in beautiful cabin! Loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars, relaxing our muscles after hiking, sledding and skiing. Enjoy cooking in beautiful kitchen and cuddling beside the fireplace! Perfect place to escape too!
