Eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung mitten im ältesten Teil von Colle! Das mehrere hundert Jahre alte Gebäude ist völlig saniert, die Wohnung in top-Zustand. Alles, was man braucht, ist in der Wohnung vorhanden. Da der Internet-Auftritt das Bad nicht mit einem Bild zeigt: Auch das Bad ist perfekt, modern, hell gefliest, Dusche mit Glastrennwand (und nicht wie so oft mit einem Vorhang. Die Vermieterin ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. So sorgt sie z.B. dafür, dass man zum Be- und Entladen in die ZTL-Zone einfahren darf, wohin man sonst nicht fahren dürfte. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war völlig problemlos und sehr freundlich, falls man nicht italienisch spricht, geht es auch mit Englisch. Auch das Parkdeck ist sehr praktisch und fußläufig in 5 Minuten von der Wohnung aus zu erreichen. Also: Volle Empfehlung!

Situation : la ville haute de Colle di Val d'Elsa est magnifique. Très calme et près de très nombreux points d'intérêt. Appartement : grand et bien agencé. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut à l'intérieur pour passer un excellent séjour. Parking couvert disponible (à quelques centaines de mètres, mais on a une autorisation spéciale pour entrer dans le village pour décharger). Propriétaire : Maura est une femme charmante qui parle bien le français et qui sait se rendre disponible. Elle fait tout pour que le séjour se passe le mieux possible. En résumé, un pied-à-terre parfait pour visiter la Toscane. San Gimignano à 15 mn, Sienne à 30 mn et Florence à 45mn. Voiture obilgatoire.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt im geschmackvoll renovierten Teil von Colle di Val d'Elsa in einem alten Gebäude im ersten Stock. Dieser Teil der Stadt ist nur mit besonderer Erlaubnis mit dem Auto zu befahren. Am Anfang war ich etwas verunsichert, wie das dann mit der Anfahrt und dem Parkplatz ist, aber Maura, die Vermieterin, hat das alles perfekt organisiert. Sie besorgt die Einfahrterlaubnis und stellt einen Stellplatz in einer abgeschlossenen Gemeinschaftsgarage zur Verfügung. Die Kontaktaufnahme war schnell, herzlich und sehr unkompliziert. Wir haben erst zwei Tage vor der Anreise gebucht und trotzdem gab es keinerlei Komplikationen. Wir wurden von Maura sehr herzlich empfangen und mit den notwendigen Informationen versorgt. Maura hat auch mehrfach angeboten, uns zur Verfügung zu stehen, falls wir mal ihre Hilfe benötigen würden. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr stilvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet und in einem perfekt sauberen Zustand. Sie ist für zwei oder drei Personen ausreichend groß und komfortabel. Wir haben die ganze Woche über unser Auto nicht mehr gebraucht und konnten alle wichtigen Dinge zu Fuß oder mir dem Fahrrad erledigen. Besonders die vielen Bars und Restaurants waren alle in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können Mauras Ferienwohnung gerne weiterempfehlen. Wenn wir wieder mal in die Toskana reisen, ist das bestimmt unsere erste Adresse.

Ich schliesse mich voll den guten Bewertungen an. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen verschiedener Städte in der Umgebung. Man kann sich auch gut in der schönen Wohnung erholen nur leider ist laut, wenn das in unmittelbarer Nähe gelegene Restaurant in Betrieb ist.

We were totally thrilled we this property. Location and amenities within the property and surrounding area. Maura was an outstanding hostess. Wanted for nothing. Ideal to explore local and surrounding cities, ie Florence. Public transport was easy to us. Very reasonably priced. Didn’t feel the need to rent a car. Grazie Mille Maura. Very well done. I have to admit I was sceptical with all the 5* reviews for this property. However, after a very welcoming check-in and a tour of the property, it was clear that all the glowing reports were well deserved. As previously mentioned, the property is incredibly well provisioned with absolutely everything you could possibly need. This includes the little homely touches you normally don’t find. The bigger equipment are all in good condition and work well. TV, cooker, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, electric fans, fridge and large freezer and a very comfortable bed. Everything is also found clean and tidy. The property is also very well ventilated with fully opening windows on both sides of the building. These allow a lovely breeze to continually flow through the flat. The location is perfect. Colle de Val d’esla is a lovely, picturesque town with an excellent and regular bus service to Florence, and Siena. There is a lovely restaurant just downstairs from the property but no noise filters in at night. Many reviews also mentioned Maura and the excellent service she provides. Along with her daughter, Giulia, they both made our 2 week stay perfect with help when we needed it, recommendations for things to do and a friendly person to talk to. In summary, this is an incredible property to stay in and if your dates are available, I would strongly recommend making a booking as soon as possible. You won’t regret it!!.

Appartement charmant, avec ses hauts plafonds, et très bien équipé...C'est vraiment un endroit magique au sein de cette cité médiévale à découvrir. Parking privatif à disposition... point très positif. Nous avons passé une dizaine de jours. Sa situation est idéale pour découvrir la toscane, Sienne, Florence, Pise... Enfin, nous remercions Maura pour son accueil , sa disponibilité pour nous conseiller. Maura, merci encore !

Vi bodde i två veckor i denna fina trerumslägenhet. Allt stämmer perfekt överens med bilderna och beskrivningen i annonsen. Läget är mycket fint, mitt i den äldsta historiska delen av staden med byggnader som i sina äldsta delar är från 1200-talet. I samma hus som lägenheten finns en restaurang som också driver ett café. Hela denna del av staden är mycket lugn och stillsam. Lägenheten har verkligen allt man kan behöva under en vistelse och är väldigt mysig och vacker. Utsikten kunde inte vara bättre. Vi rekommenderar denna lägenhet varmt.

Accueil et conditions de séjour irréprochables Tout est mis à disposition pour le bien être des occupants. Le lieu est en parfaite harmonie avec cette petite cité historique qu'est Colle di Val d'Elsa. On y trouve un parfait équilibre entre culture et nature. Notre hôtesse, Maura s'est montrée d'une grande délicatesse.

This apt. is very well stocked with anything you'd need. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Maura was amazing! We locked ourselves out of the apt. and they came and rescued us right away! I would highly recommend this apt!

Maura was so kind and offered many ideas for our stay. The location was perfect for enjoying day trips to all of the Tuscany sights! The apartment was clean and perfect for our needs. Staying in the village transported us back in time to a fairytale of renaissance living!

This property was excellent, very well equipped and extremely clean. We found it an excellent base from which to visit many localities in the surrounding area. The restaurant downstairs made us feel like locals, very welcoming. We would certainly recommend it to other guests.

We have traveled to many rental units but never have we found one this exceptional. In every way this apartment provided what we needed. The spotless rooms were so well equipped, everything we needed to live as at home. The usual rentals have a few pans, a few dishes, some silverware, etc. Maura had EVERYTHING. Dinner service for many, all matching, and for any type of food. Pans and preparation equipment for a range of levels of cooking. Excellent stove, refrigeration and washing machine. All of the cleaning products and supplies. We did not have to purchase anything but our food. The included parking arrangements were also superb. And Colle Val d'Elsa is a hidden treasure. The walk from the apt. toward the upper village provided all we could hope for to experience life in this small town. The marvelous architecture, the Churches, museum, and shops were delightful. A special highlight is the superb quality of the food options, from Farm to Table to Michelin star. Traveling to the rest of Tuscany was convenient, we had a car but public transit was available. If you venture off to the lower village there is a weekly market and other crystal related sites. Voltera, San Gimignano, Siena are all within an hour. The Chianti trail is near by. Less than an hour to Florence if you use this as the home base. All so convenient. Our host was warm and accommodating. Although we had few requests, she was prompt and accessible. She checked in several times to assure that we were satisfied. We had been looking for a small Tuscan experience and were certainly found it here!

Apartment in classic building in Tuscan hill top town. Lovely surroundings and not as busy as some other similar places. Everything you need to self cater. Maura is a very helpful host; she lives just up the road and is easily contactable.

Our stay was for 2 weeks, and the property is well situated within the town with a local bar and restaurant close by. Other restaurants were also nearby as well as shops, library and arts and craft shops. A market once a week in the lower town which is accessed by a hill top lift. Bus service to Florence or Siena if you want a break from driving. Great views and full of history and interesting. Maura was a great host and told us lots about places to see and visit as well as really looking after us.

We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks in this historic city. Places of interest abound both locally and within easy reach.We hired a car at the airport but made use of public transport occasionally to visit other cities nearby such as Sienna and Florence to make life easier.Secure parking is provided. There are numerous restaurants within easy reach many of which we sampled. A good supermarket is not too distant supplying everything needed for self catering.

My husband and I stayed in Maura's lovely apartment for nearly five weeks. Maura is very kind and helpful and has thought of everything to make the apartment comfortable and welcoming. She even provides free, secure, undercover parking (though for anyone with mobility issues, be warned, there's a climb up to the old town from the parking and you can only ever park outside the apartment itself with a permit that Maura organises and then only for a few minutes to unload luggage or groceries. This would be pretty standard though for any old hill town). Colle itself provides a great base for exploring Tuscany, being more or less right in the centre. It's also great because it's not as touristy as many other hill towns. We loved our stay there. Thank you again Maura.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment for 1 month, and wished we had had longer. The apartment itself is spacious, light, and beautifully decorated. Attention to detail is everywhere, and everything one needs is provided. It was sparkling clean with good quality towels and linens. Note that you are provided with indoor, secure parking for your car a short walk from the apartment. The location provides an authentic medieval hill town experience. Calle di Valle d'Elsa is not much touristed so it is quiet, though it is interesting and has the shops and stores that are needed. It is perfectly located for visiting many interesting places and towns: Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, to name the big ones, and many, many smaller spots to discover. We enjoy walking, and the Francigena path criss-crosses all over this area, so we made many walks to small villages and little churches. Finally, Maura is a helpful and responsive host who went out of her way to make sure we knew of interesting places to visit, and was available for any question. We travel a lot, and have rented many similar apartments, and we highly recommend this one!

"From the fact that this was our second stay in the appartment you can see that we really like it. It is very clean and spacious for 2 or even 3 people. We were warmly welcomed by Maura and again enjoyed our stay in this nice town. (On the weekend there was some night-life in the bar/restaurant below; however, this will not deter us from returning again some time.) Dies war bereits unser zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Appartment, was zeigt, wie sehr es uns gefällt. Es ist sehr sauber und mit Stil eingerichtet.
