We’ve been having a family gathering Labor Day weekend for several years, and this is the best place we’ve rented so far — super clean, well stocked, and nice open spaces. We did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen was great! It was really nice to rent a pontoon and bring it right up to the backyard to load and unload. Also enjoyed swimming off the dock. We all agreed—this place is a keeper!

I went during the week at the end of August and it was peaceful with great views. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect for a family trip! Location is great, close to a public boat ramp to put in the boat for use of the slip at the house. Close to a little store. The house is clean, well stocked with everything you need. The walk to the dock was just down a gentle slope in the yard. The dock was great to swim and fish from. Owner is great with communication! Definitely will keep it on our list for family vacation again!

The house was clean inside and had plenty of room for our family. It had plenty of blankets , towels and the kitchen was well stocked. Being able to swim right off the dock was great.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, organized and good lake frontage with dock. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Beautiful home with 2 private docks. Unfortunately we had no place to park our boat trailer due to the steep slope of driveway. A lovely neighbor stopped by and offered her driveway. We would have been in a pickle had she not been so gracious. Kitchen provided everything you could possibly need. It is truly a lovely home.

Property listing is exactly what it is like in person! Yard is slightly steeper than it appears. 7 adults with two full baths worked but wouldn't want to have more than 7.

This was the perfect place for 3 couples and a baby to go for a long weekend. My family and I found it so relaxing. Beautiful view of the lake! Great dock access. Great location near anything you need. You can have a campfire in the backyard! Oh, and the kitchen was very well stocked with what you need to cook! We already want to go back.

A get together of old friends. A beautiful lake front home where we were able to spend time catching up with each other, view attractions in the area, enjoy excellent food and friendly people in the area. The bird watching at the house was beyond expectation. Would highly recommend this place to everyone

If that light at the beginning of the driveway was on, that would help to find property at night. Overall Very quite and serin. Screen doors need to be replaced to feel secure. Ok just saying.

We had a nice trip. House has beautiful views. Comfy beds & seating for watching the sunset on the lake. Saw lots of deer in the neighborhood. Enjoyed the dock for fishing even though it was cold the week we went. Definitely stop in town for groceries as there’s not much nearby. Only suggestion would be to put the house number on the front of the house or at the driveway. We weren’t sure we were at the right address since we didn’t see a house number anywhere. Our stay was wonderful! The Trinity Lake House is pretty and clean, and very well stocked. We appreciated all of the supplies and appliances on hand, and we were especially happy to find (and use!) the high chair as we forgot one. In addition to the wonderful home, the owner was very accommodating! We originally planned this trip (approximately) halfway between Atlanta and Saint Louis, in October 2022 but one of our kids got the flu. The owner readily rebooked us for January 2023 and we were thrilled to meet family at the lake house for the weekend. The views of the lake are beautiful and very peaceful all day. The best part was two gorgeous sunsets. During one day, we explored the nearby Lake Barkley Resort State Park. Thank you for a great weekend and for accommodating our date change!

We thoroughly enjoyed our restful stay at this lovely lake house. Everything we needed and much more was at our fingertips. We met old friends here for 5 days and enjoyed the time together, the amenities, and the beautiful view. A flock of white pelicans passing through entertained us with their antics. The owner could not have been more helpful. We hope to return.

Family and friends for a chill sweet 16th birthday party and 5 teenagers spent the night. Location was perfect getaway for our family to celebrate our sweet girl and for her friends to spend the night. The bunk room was perfect for the girls to gather and spend time together. My mom and I each had our own space to sleep and we could relax and unwind. It was a beautiful space that was clean and inviting, the owner was very accommodating to our request. We loved this rental and our family members are interested in using the space again in the future!

Notice I gave many high star ratings but it is with exceptions. I arrived at the property after dark and the house light was not on, lots of tall bushes so I could not see the house number even if it was illuminated. So I approach the house with a flash light only to be challenged by a neighbor with a billyclub reading me the riot act. Nice start, right? I confirm the house was correct only because the lock box opened with the code provided. House was clean and well appointed with towels and utensils - I gave it a 5 star House cleaner left THREE garbage liners for three days. Kind of cheap but I made it last. The house cleaner DID NOT leave me any surface cleaners so I used the one roll of paper towel she left me with water. Again, kind of cheap. So, I messed up the departure time and left the house at 10:35am, not 10am. That was my fault. However, the cleaner stormed in the house, raised cane and yelled she had to get laundry started for the next guest (who does not check in until 4pm). Since I left the HOUSE SPOTLESS including running the dishwasher and EMPTYING IT, she had little to do. So this is were I burnt, I paid over a hundred more for cleaning fees (as compared to comp VRBO houses in the area). Because the cleaner lied to the owner he wants me to pay an extra hundred more, that's a total of four hundred. Absolute nonsense. I have five other adults that will vouche that I personally left that house EXTREMELY CLEAN. I made her job easier by squaring up the place for her (minus the lack of surface cleaner mentioned above). Therefore, to future renters, understand the lady who is going to turn the house over for the owner is not honest and the owner takes her word for it and feels that absurd cleaning fees are justified. The only thing I got wrong was the departure time by 40 minutes. The things I did right were plentiful.

This property is as beautiful as it looks. House was immaculate and very well equipped. Lake views are amazing and we took full advantage of the dock. Easy communication with Jason; simple check-in and check-out. One note (NOT a criticism): we checked in at night and the house was tough to see from the street, but GPS was right on. Just an FYI.

Loved being right near the water and having dock access. House was clean and up to date. It is close to other homes but we didn't see many other people at all. Enjoyed the sunsets and stars at night. Perfect getaway spot for me, my husband and two year old daughter.

This property was perfect for our family. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The private dock is very nice. The house is great! My granddaughter loved the bunk beds! We are already talking about booking next year!

We had small family gather and this home was the perfect place for us! The house was very clean and provide the amenities we need to to host and feed our group. My only complaint would be the grill is in pretty bad shape. I did a large amount of grilling and was sure if the one provided would be able to withstand all the cooking. I look forward to booking out next stay at this home and would recommend it to anyone wanting ti experience the beauty of Lake Barkley.

Jason, the owner, was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen was the most well equipped I’ve ever experienced in a rental. The house interior is very well decorated, comfortable and fit our group well. We used the boat dock extensively and it held our tri-toon boat and fishing boat easily. The dock was very sturdy and safe and a great place to swim and fish. The location of the house on the lake was perfect. It’s in a nice cove that’s large enough for some water sports and small enough to keep a lot of boats away. Overall, a fantastic stay and we hope to come back again.

The lake house was exactly as the pictures showed! We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The house was perfect and the view of the lake was beautiful!

Very quiet and peaceful location. Fully equipped home. My only recommendation would be for anyone who owns a lake house to pay for a monthly exterminator. If you can get rid of Ants, spiders wasps etc. it just makes for a more enjoyable time. Jason the owner was great with his communication. This was our first time with VRBO and he made us feel very comfortable coming from out of state.

Beautiful view! Lots of wildlife. Clean, comfortable house. Unfortunately, had ants and spiders and mouse droppings.

The upgraded part of this house has been done very nice. The bedroom with bunks is dark, could use more lighting. Overall it was great and will consider for down the road!
