Lovely Log Home on 5 acres w/ Unreal Views of Lake Superior, 1.6 mi to ski hill
Vous serez complètement impressionné et étonné par toutes les caractéristiques de cette toute nouvelle maison en bois rond exquise. Il peut être niché dans les bois d'une manière très privée, mais il est toujours agréable et proche de toutes les commodités dont on peut avoir besoin pour des vacances sur la Côte-Nord. Le désert vous attend juste devant la porte d'entrée. Sautez sur le sentier de randonnée supérieur ou le système de piste de ski de fond Sugarbush. Ils sont tous les deux à une minute ... littéralement! L'accès aux sentiers de motoneige est à seulement un mile sur la route et c'est à 5 minutes en voiture du domaine skiable des montagnes Lutsen. N'oubliez pas d'apporter vos vélos car le sentier national pavé est accessible à seulement 30 secondes. Il n'y a absolument rien de mal à simplement rester à l'intérieur et à profiter des vues incroyables sur le lac Supérieur au large de la vaste terrasse. Détendez-vous devant la cheminée ou passez du temps ensemble sous le porche 4 saisons. Il y a une suite parentale au niveau supérieur de la maison, une grande chambre au niveau principal de la maison avec une salle de bain dans le couloir et deux chambres avec une salle de bain complète dans le couloir au niveau inférieur. Les enfants adoreront la chambre avec lits superposés! Il y a aussi une barre personnalisée au niveau inférieur, ainsi qu'un grand téléviseur pour diffuser des films et des émissions. Comment est-il parfait qu'il y ait des vues sur le lac Supérieur à tous les niveaux!? Profitez du foyer extérieur, mais veuillez noter que vous devrez fournir votre propre bois de chauffage. This cabin was one of our favorite things about our trip up north. It is beautiful inside and out and the hosts thought off all the little things - board games, toys for kids, fully equipped kitchen, local coffee, and more! We were blown away by the gorgeous view and enjoyed a campfire at the pit outside. We loved cooking in the kitchen, putting together puzzles, and exploring all the area had to offer. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this perfect home!

This was our third stay at this house and we love it so much! Linda is so kind and responsive. It’s the only vrbo we’ve stayed at that supplies so many thoughtful amenities as well. Just be aware of the local black bear that lives in the area, he came by every night we were there. We didn’t leave any food out but he might’ve smelled remnants of s’mores by the campfire!

This was one of the best rentals I've stayed at in a while. The quality of the home and all furnishings and items were top notch. The house had everything we needed and more! Beautiful views of Lake Superior and no neighbors in sight. We would love to come back and stay - no matter what time of year, this is a perfect vacation rental!

We stayed here for a family “ski” trip. The weather was unseasonably warm and we didn’t do much skiing but house did not disappoint and was close to Lutsen and other activities. Overall the house was beautiful with unique details and had an incredible view of the lake.

Such a beautiful home and property! We stayed mid-December and enjoyed the beautifully decorated tree w/lights. Even though it rained all weekend, we played cards & puzzles in the 4-season porch, sat in front of the gas fireplace, made pasta in the amazing kitchen, well stocked & great counter space and got to chose between 2 outdoor bonfire pits. Rooms & sitting areas were cozy, great textures, rugs & blankets. Comfy beds and amazing bedrooms & bathrooms. This home was even lovelier than the pictures; our adult kiddos and morher-in-law agree!

We all absolutely loved the place and location. We try to get to the North Shore of Lake Superior as often as we can for our yearly get-together. This VRBO home was definitely in the top 5. It was clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated, great location to many hiking trails, attractions in the area, and shopping needs. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable. The views were spectacular. We lucked out with perfect weather. We would definitely stay here again with no hesitation.

The cabin was the perfect place for our 3 night stay on the North Shore! It was conveniently located, yet tucked away in a wonderful setting in the woods - and there were beautiful views of Lake Superior! The kitchen was very well equipped and the space was very comfortable - could easily accommodate 6-8 adults and provide all with personal as well as communal space. The beds were luxurious and bathrooms were well stocked with lovely towels, soap, lotion, etc. We had everything we needed! I'd definitely recommend a stay and hope we will be able to come back again!

This is our fifth time staying at Sawtooth Mountain Hideaway and it never fails to disappoint. The homeowners have impeccable attention to detail, continue to think of everything and update items year after year as needed. We love all the beautiful textures and cozy blankets scattered about the house. Our kids appreciate the games and toys. One of the things we enjoy doing both at home and while away is cooking and the kitchen here is stocked with EVERYTHING we need! One of our favorite rooms is what we call “the puzzle room” where we toil over puzzles we don’t make time to complete back at home. The Property Manager goes above and beyond and any concerns that have ever come up (which have been very few) are addressed immediately. This really is more than a rental property, it’s a home and we are so grateful for the opportunity to make memories here year after year with our family. THANK YOU!

We have stayed in quite a few rental homes and/or condos in MN and AZ throughout the years, but not a one of them could compare to this stunning home! Everything in the home is super clean, tidy, comfortable, and inviting! A great feature of the location is that it is in a private area with a fabulous view of Lake Superior, and it is within a short distance to the general stores in Tofte and Lutsen, as well as various hiking trails, shopping in Grand Marais, golfing at Superior National, and fun at Lutsen Mountain. We loved staying at this home so much that as soon as we could, we booked it again for our next summer’s family vacation.

We had a great family vacation with our grown children in this stunning, spacious, and well-appointed home with upscale amenities. Three floors, four bedrooms and three baths provided privacy while the common areas inside and out brought us together for meals and activities. We loved the beautiful view of Lake Superior and the secluded acreage. It was the perfect home-base with a kitchen and bar fully stocked with lots of dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and barware. Even a spice cabinet full of seasonings and oils! After days spent hiking, biking, exploring rivers, waterfalls, towns and shorelines, we enjoyed the firepits and bag toss in the evenings. The comfortable and luxurious beds and linens afforded all a good night's sleep! Communication with the property manager was a true pleasure. We highly recommend this property!

The cabin was exactly as described. It had everything available to make it feel like home. The kitchen was fully stocked as stated (most places say they have items and don't, but this rental had extra and good quality items). The beds were comfortable. The view of Lake Superior was awesome.

Our family had a wonderful time. This cabin was beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding. They truly thought of everything. Gorgeous decor, new furnishings and a newly built cabin made for a very enjoyable stay. We would 100% recommend and would definitely book again. Absolutely gorgeous property and a perfect place to spend our Christmas holiday. The house is extremely spacious and with a party of nine adults there was ample room to gather together in the great room or family room, while also having other spaces to spread out for a secluded place to read, relax or just take a nap (sun room, loft, beautiful bedrooms). The entire house is tastefully decorated, has great amenities throughout, and has an amazing view of Lake Superior. And we were all so pleasantly surprised to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the great room when we arrived and some holiday decorations throughout.
We experienced great customer service from the property manager and owner as both were attentive when the power went out a couple times, as two of the days we were there was during the crazy winter storm when power went out a bit for the whole area. But it was the perfect location to snuggle up and visit by candlelight as the wind howled outside. We also accidentally left one of our backpacks there on checkout and the property manager was extremely helpful in locating it and shipping it to us.
We would definitely come back to this place. The entire property (grounds) was spacious as well and we would love to experience it during the fall or summer.

I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you are staying during the winter. The private road into the property is steep and can be slippery. Definitely would stay again.

Charming & Cozy Cabin
A beautiful cabin in a great location. It has a nice open layout that made it easy for everyone to enjoy time together while cooking in the kitchen, playing games at the table and relaxing in front of the fireplace. There was plenty of room and it was very cozy. The furniture was comfortable and the decor is really neat!

Perfect girls weekend getaway
We had such a nice time at the Sawtooth Mountain Hideaway....the location is wonderful to explore all the local hiking trails, the home is spacious and well appointed with high end furnishings and decor, and the views - well we were outside most of the time surrounded by nature itself. It was a lovely weekend and we were able to enjoy both Lake Superior views and the coziness of friends by the fire (indoors) and a bonfire too. There are so many areas to enjoy in this home - so everyone can be together, or have their own space for a bit. We look forward to going back, as its just gorgeous!
