Wonderful stay if you like To go away from a big city is the best place . Hot tub was ready prepared perfect.

if you want a nice quiet break to wind down & relax, this is an ideal place to come, away from all the hussle & bussle, you have wifi, tv, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker, & all sorts, even a Tesco nearby - a 3 min drive away, even there you can be in & out within 5 mins, its nice & quiet there too. The Hot tub was just great, nice & clean & guess what, it was private ! no1 to share it with, you even had a beautiful view from it too.

Let me think........ errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr nothing at all !!! Honestly, everything was just spot on, not one thing was bad, everything was perfect.

Beautiful views, hot tub with views an idyllic position with trees , shrubbery and flowers,, time to relax. Cider and cheese as a welcome gift, yum.

everything about Rose Lodge is fantastic, the owners have thought of everything, the lodge is in an idyllic setting and Is a most relaxing experience.

Was honestly one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! Everything was perfect from the scenes to the cabin itself. Host was really lovely when checking up when we arrived, the beds are super comfy and was able to see the stars whilst in hot tub in the night with an amazing view which was the best experience ever !!! thank you so so much.

The property location was quiet and secluded with an excellent hot tub for personal use. The overall property was good and the hosts were friendly. The views from the property were stunning.

The mattress on the bed had clearly seen better days as you ended up just sinking in the middle, so we did not sleep well. The oven didn’t have any baking trays, so cooking anything was not very realistic, bearing in mind this is self-catering. (To add balance, the hosts did email to see if there was anything we needed but we didn’t bring it up at the time, however if an oven is provided then the appropriate cooking utensils should be too). Then one thing which could be tricky to solve: there is a smoke alarm right next to the kitchen space and it goes off at the merest sign of heat. It is impossible to cook a breakfast, which most people like to do when they are away, without it screaming in your ears. I appreciate properties have to be safe, but it does need looking at because it makes the kitchen unusable.

Scenery, hot tub and log burning fire

Hot-tub was great. Netflix and WiFi all great. Kitchen had everything we needed as well as many basics such as Salt, Pepper and Oil etc.

Tiny bedroom and the bed wasn't too comfy (but ok for 2 nights).

Wow!!!! Incredible location, wonderful hosts and facilities we’re absolutely spot on, spent majority of the time in the hot tub overlooking the views, sunset and watching the stars, for a weekend away you cannot ask for more. The lodge was absolutely spotless too just an incredible experience and will be going back without a doubt.
