I loved the location! The house met all of my expectations and then some....I would have ranked this entire experience a 10++++++++ except for one major issue (read below).

We arrived from Virginia at check in tine and set about to make dinner. Everything seemed perfect - the porch is such an asset for late afternoon cocktails and relaxation. We went to bed early since it had been a long day. The next day we woke to a stench from the bathroom vents that smelled like decaying flesh and rotten sewage. We made a decision to see if it wasn't something temporary (since it was not apparent the night before) and went about our planned day of sightseeing. Upon our return the smell remained but since we were only staying three ights we made the decision to stay and not vacate the premesis. We kept the door to the bathroom shut and monitored our bathroom time. If we were staying longer I would have reported it but since our stay was so short I did not want to lose time to issues about the rental. We were out and about every day in Saugatuck so the nighttime was the only time of real inconvenience. I did report this to Vacasa upon our departure.

Location is prime

Neighbors above smoked weed daily and the smell came down through the bathroom vents. Black mold on the shower head, tv remote control does not work and you can not page the inputs, cottage smelled of wet dog, dog hair all over the furniture inside and out, trash from previous stay was in the bin still, pull out sofa was not good enough to sleep on and the additional sheets and bedding in the closet smelled very musty. Went to target to purchase our own bedding to make the accommodation work.

Shower was a little small

Quiet, comfy and perfect location. Everything is in walking distance. Pet friendly too!

There were ants in the bathroom sink and shower. The hot water in the shower lasted maybe 6-7 minutes at the most.

Great location, cute place, porch is lovely.

The bed was very uncomfortable - mattress needs replacing. Bathroom sink drain - very slow to empty.

It was a 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops. We could put our name on a restaurant wait list and then go back to our place and have a drink on the screened in front porch and people watch.

The single sink in the bathroom doesn’t have any counter space. Not a big deal, but right outside the bathroom door there is ample room to put a small table or counter to accommodate multiple guests’ toiletries, etc. Also, when we opened the kitchen cabinet under the sink, there were ants swarming the garbage can.

Great location. Possibility of being incredibly charming home.

Very poorly cared for. Heavily stained rugs and furniture. Low end amenities seem incongruent with price and regional expectations.
