Le Cottage à Wintersun est une maison 4br / 3b 2000sf magnifiquement décorée située sur le domaine Wintersun de 130 acres dans les montagnes Blue Ridge en Caroline du Nord, et à seulement 20 minutes de la ville animée et passionnante d'Asheville, en Caroline du Nord et du domaine Biltmore.
Pour les amateurs de golf sur disque, la maison est entourée de deux terrains de golf sur disque privés afin que vous puissiez jouer et jouer directement depuis votre cour avant. Les terrains de golf sur disque ont été classés dans le pourcentage le plus élevé de parcours privés sur la côte est et ils sont absolument privés, pas d'autres joueurs! Le parcours court (11 trous) peut être joué en 1 heure, tandis que le parcours long (18 trous) dure environ 3 heures et dispose de 4 miles de fairways.

We had the best time at this property. The grounds are immaculate, the house is clean, and it feels secluded while being close to everything. If you like disc golf, the courses were excellent. And the on site hiking was wonderful! Loved it.

This cottage is set on an incredibly beautiful property with acres of meadows and trails. The cottage is comfortable but filled with many, many breakable objects. This made parents anxious about breakage. Happily, everything was left intact.

We came up here for a disc golf bachelor party with my buddies and it did not disappoint at all. Property was fantastic and had tons of sleeping arrangements that suited all 8 of us just fine. Were all wanting to come back again next year. The courses were wonderful and definitely got some steps in from them! Thank you for letting us stay there.

My friends and I have for the past 5yrs had a private disc golf tournament. Since the IDGH in Appling, GA. was under construction we ventured out to different locations.
We found this gem! It was fantastic and accommodated us perfectly. Every room has a gas fire place, the kitchen was big enough for all of us, and the front porch was the perfect setting to have morning reflections. The short course was great, however, the long course is extremely difficult (we are all intermediate level players); but we still had a lot of fun and they were well maintained with nice baskets. The only complaints I had were the hot tub never got warm, and the grill was very underwhelming. Super close to a grocery store!

This is our 3rd or 4th trip to Wintersun. It is one of our favorite places to come and relax.... The property is beautiful and we love hiking on the estate trails. We also love that we can bring our dog. It is nice to find a property that will comfortably accommodate a big group. We will definitely be back!

Wintersun was the perfect place to enjoy our Thanksgiving with family and friends! The house was so cozy and comfortable and big enough for all our 11 guests. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The house was well-equipped for all our needs and the grounds were beautiful. My brother brought his fly-fishing rods and tried out the trout stream. We really enjoyed the natural gas fire pit outside! Plus it was great to take our dogs! We will definitely rent Wintersun again. Judy was a great host and so easy to work with.

The cottage was such a surprise. We were looking for a nice place to snuggle in with our son who is a freshman at UNCA and we stumbled on Wintersun. The disc golf course drewme in, but wow! I had no idea we would be staying on our own private preserve with miles of hiking trails to explore! It could not have been a more perfect fit for us. Another bonus is that it is dog friendly. Our son was able to reconnect with his girl, Gertie!

Wonderful weekend. It ended up being 4 of us, women of age. The bedroom situation was perfect because 2 of the women have difficulty with stairs. It is hard to find a house with more than one bedroom on the main floor, but this one has three! Beautiful, quiet setting! The trees were turning colors…it was Heavenly!

I chose to spend my birthday at this wonderful house with my family. It is our 7th time staying here. We love the beautiful setting and great paths to walk around the property. My husband and sons love the disc golf and our dogs love wading in the steam. We also love how easy it is drive into Asheville and the great communication with Judy and Susan, the owners. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Everyone loved the house and grounds. Hard to believe you can be so close to Asheville but have this much nature around you. The house is very well equipped, beautifully decorated, and sits in a pasture filled with wildlife. Wake to birds singing, watch the Turkeys feed, then walk around the expansive property. This is our 6 or 7th time staying at this house. We love it! My husband and sons love to play disc golf and fish in the stream. We all love to hike around the beautiful trails with our dogs and then relax around the fire pit in the evening. We love the proximity to Asheville's breweries restaurants and shopping. We absolutely love staying at Judy’s cottage. We are local and find this is such a great getaway just far enough from town that you feel like you’re not an home anymore. The cottage has everything you need. The beds are super comfortable and the disc golf is awesome. Judy is very responsive and has been so accommodating. We’ll be back in the fall for sure.

Rented this lovely house for visiting family of 4, two parents and two young adults. On their way to Asheville, they all came down with a cold, so we spent most of our time indoors or on the property. There was plenty of room for the six of us to sit together and chat, gather around a table to play games or stroll the grounds enjoying the spring weather. Everyone adored it and returned home refreshed and renewed. We will definitely make this delightful and comfortable cottage our regular home away from home.

It's not always easy to find a home rental that makes three generations of guests happy, but Wintersun hit the mark for our reunion of eight (plus one dog) this weekend. The house was immaculate and had all the cookware and utensils that we needed for our meals, and we all appreciated the small post-card-size, take-along cards Judy and Susan made with directions to local sites; the detailed architectural/landscaping map of the (extensive and beautiful) grounds; and the helpful disc golf maps (not to mention the spare discs!). The power went out very briefly during a thunder/wind storm, but Judy promptly texted that she was arriving with candles and flashlights---which we wound up not needing, because the power came back on shortly. We also appreciated her letting us stay after our departure time to play one last round of disc golf. Everyone agreed that we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Beautiful property, attentive and friendly hosts. Thank you, Judy and Susan!

This cottage is incredibly unique and charming with timeless decor, a vast array of books, and trinkets galore! We had a crew of adults and teenagers and all raved about the property and space. Meals around the tables both inside and out were so cozy and comfortable. The on-site walking trails and disc golf were a hit. No need for media games/screens at all! And decorated for Christmas! Comfy beds. A true home away from home. We will be back!

The house itself was fine, the listing online was accurate. It's a little dated and literally packed full of stuff, one bedroom for some reason had a 100 piece china display. So not a great house for kids. That said the location and the property is simply amazing. We had an awesome time playing disc golf and just walking around during the day or night. Very special property and was such a nice change of scenery. We booked it because we disc golf. The disc golf was pretty homebrew, there was good directions via the provided map, but mobile baskets and tees. Not a pro setup, but still a well designed course that was very scenic and challenging. We had an amazing stay. I'd recommend this place for up to 4 singles and up to 7-8 total people if couples.
