We had a lovely stay. The place was so lovely and we had all we needed. Mark (our host) was so lovely and helpful. It was the perfect spot to get away from everything yet close to town. Such a nice stay we intend to return.

The photo's don't do it justice, the unit is even more beautiful and the surrounding bush is very peaceful. It has everything you need if you're keen to just hybernate for some peace away from work/ kids etc and also lots of beautiful bush tracks and creeks to explore nearby. The area surrounding Jamison is mostly only Telstra reception, but I had Optus reception while at the apartment so that was great too. Wifi is quick and all the appliances you need are there. Super clean, comfortable and wonderful view from the large main window. Also if you are a woman travelling alone, as was I, this is a safe place to stay. I felt very safe in the apartment and even as I went exploring through the bush in a nearby town Kevington on my own (not my brightest idea), Mark was leaving to come and find me since it was beginning to get dark. He is very thoughtful and kind! Luckily I arrived back safely before he had to travel too far haha. Sorry Mark! But also thank you for the wonderful stay. I will be back for sure! Next time with appropriate hiking gear :)

Mark has created a real oasis of calm on his property. We had not expected the elevated position and spectacular views from our upstairs apartment. The photos don't do the property justice - it was superb!
Mark's attention to detail was first class - we had crisp fresh bread and an abundance of butter, milk, jam and eggs, so we needed to bring very little for breakfast, if anything. Bathroom kitchen and bedroom were all more spacious than we expected and it was good to be away from hotel and street noise. It was the perfect getaway!

My husband and I chose this property because of the location. The loft apartment is in Jamieson, which is not too crowded.
I like places with historical connections while my husband likes places with fishing locations.
The first day (based on what Mark suggested and the brochures in the apartment) we went and did the historical walk around Jamieson. There are 25 spots to visit within Jamieson. There's even a 'Tree Spotting' walk. Jamieson has some very good eateries and shopping spots for knick-knacks. I bought a butter dish, earrings and woolen stole from St. John's Anglican Church at Jamieson.
The second day we went to Eildon Lake for fishing. Mark told us where to go to get information about fishing spots and bait. We had a wonderful time at Lake Eildon.
Mark's place is perfect to get away from the fast-paced life in the city. The property is surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife (kangaroos, deer and plenty of birds). At the same time, it has all the facilities needed to be comfortable.
We will definitely return because of how rejuvenated we feel after staying there.

This was a great place to spend time whilst checking out the surrounding towns. The host was very welcoming and the property was ideal for a couple of nights in Jamieson. It is very close to the town by car, and the river area was well worth visiting.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights for our Mt. Buller trip. Didn’t expect we will have this private loft with big bathroom and a kitchen. The house surrounded by the trees also you have an amazing view to the mountains from the bed. Mark (owner) is so friendly. We had a great hospitality from him. The location is in a little town Jamieson, this town has a magical view all around it you will mountains and river. Definitely we gonna come back to this place.

To be honest, we didn’t expect much but when we got there we were impressed with how modern the place looked and cozy it felt. The beds and even couch are extremely comfy, the place was warm and well lit. The host had turned the heater on for us already so when we stepped in it felt like home. Mark is a lovely host and made us feel very welcomed.
The photos on this listing do not do the place justice at all, this place is so much nicer than expected and a quiet spot to stay.
