Cabin was clean and met our expectations.

Perfect for families. Play area in loft with lots of toys and a puppet theatre. Beds are comfortable.

The perfect location for me traveling solo. Feels secluded but convenient access to shopping and necessities. I appreciated how clean and neat everything was. Very welcoming and cozy! Thank you for the handy notebook and clear instructions. I will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and spacious, lots of beds, linens and towels. It was clean and the property owner was very accommodating. The only thing that was not stellar was the hot water. Even so, we would love to stay here again in the future!!

The property was as advertised. It was very clean and cozy. It worked out great for our vacation. It was very close to White Pines Lake and Big Trees. For a small town there were plenty of places to eat. We had a great time staying there.

We were attending a concert at Ironstone and made a weekend out of it. This house was perfect for our stay. Very clean, and just what we were looking for.

Our stay was amazing. Nice quaint quiet mountain stay. From someone coming from the northern most part of California (15 minutes from the Oregon boarder) we were right at home. Thank you, everything was great. AMAZING MATTRESSES. Also loved that God clearly is prominent in the home.

The cabin was clean and in a great location. The driveway is severely sloped and no way to turn around. The pictures in the add are deceiving. There are many private reservoirs to enjoy but this cabin does not give you access to any of them all though they are a 2 and 5 minute drive away. The biggest disappointment was that both propane cylinders were empty so we had to scramble on a Friday at 5 PM to find one. Thank goodness we did as we packed food to bbq both nights. We did report this to the property owner and she said "thanks for letting me know", no apologies or at least a bit of a refund. We absolutely loved the area but won't stay in this cabin again.

The owner was helpful. The property was clean. We would stay here again. The only downside was you could hear someone upstairs snoring, talking or walking from downstairs.

Wonderful stay! We are a family of 4 and we go up every year and try different rentals. This one one of our favorites because: it was very clean, the loft area play area was very hot during our stay(I wouldn’t recommend anyone sleeping in it or any loft for that matter it’s just too hot) however the bedroom on the loft was cool and had AC and a fan which kept us comfortable. The AC worked nicely throughout the house, the kitchen had most items, the communication with owner was prompt and the outdoor patio was very nice. My three recommendations would be: 1) the tv/Audio system was not user friendly and they only had Apple TV but did offer dvds, so bring your own hook up for other apps 2) if going up in the summer reminder that most lofts with beds will be very hot, like I said thankfully the bedroom upstairs stayed cool 3) check in with the owners ahead of time for any local construction or updates. Saturday night the power was out for most neighborhoods due to fireworks show,however our area was NOT so that was a huge bonus. We would recommend this cabin to any family of 4 looking to enjoy the area.

We had a mens retreat and the accommodations were exactly as described and we enjoyed our time there getting relaxed and having time to build good last friendships!

This was our second stay at the property and we enjoyed it just as much as the first- we even brought friends along to stay with us this time! Very clean, comfortable beds, great amenities, and convenient location to all the area has to offer. So very minor but it was strange to still have all the Christmas/holiday decorations up in April. Overall, a 5 star review for Sarah’s place! Looking forward to our next stay.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable, kid friendly. I appreciate being able to stay here for a last minute spring break trip with my kids and their cousins. It was family friendly with great sleeping arrangements for kids and adults. They had plastic plates and bowls for the kids, which we appreciate also! It was very clean and felt very modern. I am a bit of a clean freak and i felt it was kept very well. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay to come play in the snow. Hope to be back in the summer! Thanks for having us!

This cabin was very comfortable and homey. It was very easy to get in contact with the host and they were helpful and understanding. Warning that the driveway is very steep, it's not really shown well on the pictures

We had a great weekend in the snow. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Lots of board games and movie time after the snow. We look forward to coming back.

We has such a wonderful stay at Sara's cabin. Not only was it spotless, but there were many thoughtful amenities from electric blankets to Netflix and much more making it very comfortable. The cabin was spacious and it is clear the property is well-maintained. While we did not have the opportunity to utilize the outdoor spaces because of the winter weather, we hope to return to experience this also during the spring/summer season. The location of the cabin is ideal allowing for easy access into the sled and ski areas. Our family appreciated the opportunity to unwind here with ample game time, movie watching, and fun cooking projects. We can't wait to return!

The carpet was dirty the house smelled like dirt. The heater turned off automatically and it was very cold.

We had a great stay overall. First evening had a problem with the grill which was frustrating as we marinated meat for kebabs and planned to make bbq every evening. But next morning the owner sent someone to fix it and rest of the stay had no problems. The house is perfectly equipped, clean, warm with comfy beds. Thanks!

We've had the pleasure of staying here now two times and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. It was perfect for our family and so close to a great brewery and a state park full of incredible sequoias and redwoods.

Everything about this cabin is wonderful. It has everything you need, a perfect home away from home. We loved sitting around the table playing games & enjoying the firepit on the deck after a fun filled day at Calaveras Big trees.

Four of us (all seniors) stayed through the weekend to attend all the festivities in Arnold for our friends' anniversary. The house was well- located (5 minutes from our friends home and the local market), clean and well-organized, well-equipped, has charming decor, and easy check-in. So glad there was air-conditioning in the 90-degree weather. We did not take advantage of all the deck and outdoor options, as most of our time was spent elsewhere, gathering with others. Our only issue was the driveway - steep and a bit difficult to navigate. Check-out was simple and required its;e of us. THANK YOU!

We had a nice stay at this cabin.It is conveniently located to many attractions around. As soon as we got approved, Sara has send us all the pertinent information in regards to our stay, excellent communication. The place was very clean,smaller for our party but cozy. Dishwasher as an addition to the kitchen would be a plus. Overall we liked it and considering in the future to stay again.

Great place, our family loved it. Everything was clean and ready for us. Our girls enjoyed the board games and the nice selections of movies. Very close to sno-parks. We'd love to come back in summer to enjoy the deck.

Everything looked great, was clean and ready for us. Check in was easy as was the check out. The accommodations were wonderful and we had a great time as a family and it was an easy drive to Bear Valley to snowboard! We will stay here AGAIN!!! Thanks so much for having such a great place and the out door deck was amazing to sit at and enjoy the quiet!!

Staying here was like staying at a family friend’s cabin - it was warm, had simple amenities and is clean enough to be comfortable. The hill outside was perfect for sledding. The only thing I’d note to people is the hot water tank is so small, showering needed to be done QUICKLY. No hair-washing quickly. Breaks between people showering, quickly. I’d stay here again.

We enjoyed a lovely stay surrounded by freshly fallen snow outdoors and great amenities and comfort indoors. It's located in a great neighborhood with scenic views, but not far from main thoroughfares and even a nearby brewery.

We had a super time and found the place to be more then just a place to stay. The cabin had a feeling of home. Highly recommend for people traveling with kids. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin was exactly as expected, well appointed, very clean, and excellent communication. Our family felt so cozy and at home and loved coming back to all the games after exploring big trees for the day. Simple and exactly what we needed for a weekend of memory making. The only pointer that I have for a future guests is to be sure to screenshot or print out a small map of the neighborhood ahead of time because there is zero cell phone reception.

This is a great little cabin with a true “cabin” feel. Just being here brings back fond memories of lakeside adventures and forest fun. We really enjoyed this cabin - it’s well-stocked with lots of kitchen stuff, games, and movies. It’s hot upstairs on arrival as others have said, but there are lots of fans so it was fine in a few hours. Consider bringing some extra pillow cases if you need the additional bedding - there are only sheets for the made beds. Really great little place we hope we can stay again!

In this Home Sweet Cabin! Comfortable family atmosphere. Beautiful views! Easy kitchen to navigate with all you might need to prepare and enjoy a nice meal inside or out. We will love to return!
