Loved having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Unit was just what we expected. Liked the secure parking. Disappointed the pool was not heated.

We’ve rented from vrbo for 20 years but have never encountered such grumpy owners. Any request or question was met with a hostile attitude. The WiFi was abysmal - movies froze on the screen, iPads lost connections - because they’re trying to serve all 12 units with one router, using extensions. Filters on the heat vents hadn’t been changed for ages so when we turned the heat on, dust blew out. There was no vacuum, so I bought a mop to wipe the dust off the floors every day. Two kitchen pans were crusted with burnt food so we bought new ones and left them there. We won’t be back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home had everything we needed and more. Comfortable accommodations, full kitchen, and great living room space for relaxing. It was everything Maria and Carla said it would be. Gated community, felt very safe.

It has been nicely upgraded and clean. Security is good with access gates. There a couple of minor things that need attention to make this the perfect stay.

The condo was lovely in a very secure gated area. Not the greatest part of Tucson, but I felt safe. The condo and grounds were very clean and there was a great little back yard for my dog.

Very pleased with the unit. All rentals are individual homes. Very clean and well maintained. Southwest taste in kitchen, bathrooms. met several other people who were renting there. All were very nice. Close to University of Arizona where we spent the weekend at their Homecoming

I have stayed in 3 of the casitas in the complex. This was the best of the 3 for me. It was super clean, comfortable beds, adequate kitchen for a quick trip. Location is great and I appreciate the gated parking. Another unit had a garage door opener and that was certainly easier, but not a necessity. Close to shopping, restuarants and grocery stores.

Very clean, large and well equipped place. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are in Tucson. Hosts very responsive.

My youngest son and I stayed in a 2 bed/2bath casita at the Desert Morada Casitas property. We had almost daily visits from friends of mine that now live in Tucson, and my second oldest son came and spent a night with us. It is a wonderful surprise in the middle of a mixed income neighborhood that is being revitalized by people like Carla and Maria (the owners/operators of this property). They have created a small gated community of 13 single level casitas that share the pool and barbecuing areas. I had the opportunity to meet some of the other guest while enjoying the pool and everyone I met was very pleasant. My youngest son even made a friend that he is staying in touch with. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The living room furnishings were meant for living in and not for a reception area, as has been the case at other locations I have stayed at. All bedding, towels (for indoor and pool use), and pots/pans/plates/cups/small appliances and utensils, even some basic seasonings, etc. were supplied. They also supplied shampoo (no conditioner), body wash and lotion. You just need to bring yourself, some clothes and basic toiletries to enjoy this hidden gem. Communication was wonderful between the owners and I. Texting will get you the fastest response as these ladies do still work. They also have on site maintenance personnel who were also very pleasant. I was doing the dishes one day and realized I was standing in a puddle. It turned out that the garbage disposal had cracked and was leaking under the sink. Within minutes of me texting Carla someone had left extra towels/rags outside my casita to help sop up the mess, and by the next morning the issue had been addressed with the installation of a new garbage disposal. I've never had such fast, reliable service/communication between myself and an owner/operator of any vacation property I have stayed at. I am totally impressed with these ladies and hope they build more of these locations. I wish them every success! They've earned it. P.S. They're also dog friendly. I'm not sure about cats.

This will be our 3rd time staying at this beautiful Oasis. The care of the property and amenities are excellent. We love the peaceful area and location for access to time with area friends and family plus area attractions. Our two small dogs enjoy the back patio and the landscaping is attentive to dogs to are not familiar with cactus. We love that you don’t smell previous dogs inside or out and that our pets are safe and happy.

We discovered this property looking for a quick staycation from Phoenix, and we're so happy we found it! Great location, so close to grocery store shopping and dining, while feeling like a secluded getaway all at the same time. We loved the pool, and the apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. Our senior dog had her own enclosed patio area and was very comfortable. We would 100% recommend and stay at this property again.

Was a god stay in this Casita. Was clean .Main bathroom tub was clogged up told MGR,but never came . cleaned drain ourselves. Other then that it was a great stay.

We decided to escape COVID winter in Denver for the warmth of Tucson. It was our first visit to the city. This casita community is great. Very professionally maintained, quiet, situated around a central pool with secure parking and private outdoor space for each unit. We were happy to have space to let the dogs out, store the bikes, and soak up some sun. Our unit was in great shape. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. The hosts, Maria and Carla, responded promptly to any and all requests. I will say that the neighborhood is a little rough, not unsafe but lacking sidewalks and street lights, it's not a great area to go for a walk. However, there are parks nearby and Sprouts and Traders Joes are very close.

This is a nice home with lovely antique furniture and plenty of space for us two sisters. We would have liked to have used the pool - it’s very attractive and right outside the front door - but it was brr cold outside! We met several people in the community and they were friendly and courteous. Marie was very helpful with a couple of minor issues we had. Be aware that the WiFi is sketchy, Marie got it fixed for us but then it stopped working again. Very likely user error on our part! We left before we had a chance to work on it with her again. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice refuge. Quiet, clean, with a very well appointed kitchen, well appointed everything in fact. Really nice owners too - we very much enjoyed our week here.

My sister was in a bad accident and required a long hospital stay. After several days in hotel, it was good to be able to get a house to stay in. We could relax better, plus cook meals. It was definitely a better experience concidering the reson for being thete.

Roomy, comfortable and nicely updated with brand new appliances. The setting of the casitas around the pool is charming. Especially liked the unique tiles in kitchen and baths. Appreciated the large walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Good place to relax while visiting Tucson.

Loved everything about Desert Morada Casita B! From the beautiful decor to the very comfortable furniture, every part of the casita has been well designed. When we arrived, we found a very clean and welcoming vacation home. The casita was fully furnished with top quality products making our stay even more pleasant and enjoyable. Even though it is tucked away from the busy streets, it is very conveniently located by grocery stores, the U of A, restaurants and the Tucson Mall. Parking is very convenient and secure. I would highly recommend Desert Morada Casitas and look forward to staying there again soon!

Very clean and well equipped condo. The owners have spent a lot of time decorating and furnishing each unit. Owners are quick to be responsive to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend.
