This is an incredibly well run guest house. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have everything you’ll need. We stayed at Chekesh Casa for five days. It was a wonderful base to return home to at the end of the day. We ate at the restaurant several times, and also rented motorbikes through them. They literally can take care of all of your needs! An excellent value for sure.

Gorgeous clean room in a lovely green setting, perfectly located near restaurants, beach and waterfalls. Staff were extremely friendly and helped with laundry and renting us a motorbike. The food in their restaurant was good and very reasonably priced.

There was no water fountain near our room therefore we wasted a lot of plastic bottles, which is unlikely anywhere else we have stayed in the Philippines.

The rooms are nice and the family are really helpful, friendly and welcoming. The location is good also.

The air-conditioning was really noisy at night-time and the rooms are not very sound-proof. We could hear a lot going on outside and in the room next door to us.

This place is incredible and offers everything you need for your stay in Siquijor. The staff were lovely from the moment we arrived, welcomed us with welcome drinks and helped with our bags when we were ready to check into the room which was up the road. There was a sign welcoming us to our room (see picture) which was a really nice touch. The room was very clean and everything provided for, even a fridge with water, Cokes and beers and a kettle. They offer bike rental at a really good price and very accommodating if you need anything else. We ate at the restaurant several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner - the waiting staff were very good at their jobs and the food was incredible, especially the sweet and sour chicken with garlic rice. They also made us packed breakfast for when we leave and took us back to the port. Great location with tubod Beach close by, along with other popular sites and beaches within 20 minutes. We extended our stay here by three nights as we loved it so much. No complaints, would definitely recommend!

Complete and clean amenities. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. They promptly respond to my queries. The food that they serve in their restaurant are all delicious.

Very nice and cozy guest house. It is located like 300 m from the main road which means that it is peaceful. It has nice big room and cozy patio. It was nice to sit outside in the wooden rolling chair and admire the lush, beautiful garden. Guest house's restaurant (reception too) is located in the main road and restaurant is one of the best on the island. Staff and owners are nice and friendly. Beach is like 5 minutes walk. They have motorbike to rent.

Staying with MaiMai and Giovanni was great! The room was very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. It even came with a fridge. They made sure that we felt at home and had everything we might need. We loved their garden just in front of the room. The food at their restaurant which is around the corner is great as well and so are the drinks. Its well located, just minutes from the beach and the marine sanctuary and a beautiful waterfall. We would definitely stay again.

I like the owners and the welcome drink. They got the essentials that you would need during your stay. The little patio, with a seat and a table, is very relaxing.

Nothing, except that the aircon is too high that it is difficult to adjust if you are not a tall person.

A lovely room in nice gardens set up the hill off the road. A good location in San Juan which provides a brilliant base for exploring the island by scooter. Rented a scooter from Chekesh Casa for a couple of days at a really good price, and everyone couldn't have been more helpful arranging transport from/to the port and giving me tips on where to visit during my time on siquijor.

it was a pleasure staying at Chekesh! Mae and Giovanni are really helpful and will do everything for your stay to be exceptional. the location is perfect (near Tubod Beach and a 10min scooter ride to Paliton beach). they offer scooter rental so you can explore the island and they also offer early transfer if you have to catch an early ferry. the room was clean, a great size, with AC. the food served at the restaurant was very good if i ever come back to Siquijor i will definitely come back here!

What a perfect place ! Quite and in an lush garden. Clean and comfortless. A nice veranda. They also have an perfect restaurant nearby. They can help with tips and trips scooter rental. We where lucky that we could celebrate a fiesta with them. And...they aranged for me a perfect cake for our 25th wedding aniversary.

a little difficult to find if you don’t read the instructions to stop at the restaurant. But if you stop at the restaurant for check-in, they show you to your room.

the family running the place are very nice and helpful. the room was very clean and well positioned for one of the best beaches on the island

Really great room, very clean and spacious. The hosts were also amazing and used their trike early in the morning to take us to the ferry at a reasonable cost which was no more expensive than the local rate. Very good stay, great value for money. Super comfy beds.

Only thing is that it is a 5min drive to San Juan where most restaurants are located but this isn't a problem as there are loads of trikes and you can drive yourself around easily. It is however very close to Tubod Marine Sactuary.

Welcoming could not have been warmer. Giovanni is the greatest host ever. Very nice room, private bathroom, hot shower, A/C and comfortable bed. The family restaurant is also great. People staying far away in the island come to it the excellent food they serve there.
