Il n'y a qu'une poignée de maisons locatives situées dans la ville d'Ohiopyle. Nous aimons cette maison parce que vous n'avez pas à faire des allers-retours pour sortir de la ville. Votre groupe peut être ensemble mais faire les activités distinctes dont il a besoin. Tout le monde peut se retrouver à pied pour une randonnée, un pique-nique ou nager dans la rivière. Grand-mère et grand-père adoreront être dans le mélange sans avoir à faire des allers-retours pour chaque activité. Nos grands-parents le font!
La maison a deux chambres à l'étage. On a un lit Queen et un lit jumeau escamotable. La deuxième chambre a une reine sur le lit superposé du bas.

Accès facile à la piste cyclable Great Allegheny Passage, à la rivière Youghiogheny, à la cascade Ohiopyle, au Falls Market Resturant et à des kilomètres de sentiers de randonnée / vélo. Il est situé à moins de huit kilomètres de Fallingwater et de Kentuck Knob de Frank Lloyd Wright. Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Casino est juste en haut de la route. Cette maison a l'emplacement idéal pour tous ceux qui veulent découvrir tout ce que Ohiopyle a à offrir. La propriété est entourée sur deux côtés par la forêt du parc d'État. My friend and I were supposed to camp at Ohiopyle for 4 nights but after a day and night of driving rain we surrendered and looked for a nearby place. This house was perfect and when I told the owner our situation she let us in just a little early so we could dry out. The location and accommodations were perfect and we truly appreciated it!

We loved our mid-May stay at Heart of Ohiopyle! The water was high but the river wasn't crowded, shops and restaurants were open, nights were cool and we could sleep with the windows open. The two bedrooms were big and we really appreciated the two covered porches for hanging out (and hanging out wet gear!). Even had a fire in the fire pit. Can't wait to come back!

I would highly recommend this place. It was super clean and quaint at the end of a quiet street and against the woods. Erin reached out at noon on day of check-in to notify us the place was clean and ready for us to arrive at any time. We checked in almost 4 hours early. It's far enough away from the crowd, but still close enough to walk anywhere within the town. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay at the house. It is as advertised, homey and very clean. The house had everything we needed and there were no problems at all. Erin checked communicated everything we needed to know and was immediately responsive when I had a question about locking up. It was unseasonably cold when we visited and the heat was on for us when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the space was easy to be in. I would rent this house again if we return to the area for more outdoor adventures. If you want to be in Ohiopyle, it was perfect!

My husband and I found the house to be comfortable, clean, and well stocked with dishes and utensils. We could walk into Ohiopyle State Park, and downtown shopping and restaurants. Sights such as Fallingwater were a short drive away. The only features we were not aware of before we got there were the fact that the property was for sale, and that the house was at a dead end with no turn around options. Some renters might find backing out two blocks difficult. I would recommended this property to others without mobility issues.

The house was in a convenient location to experiencing the beauty of the area. You can walk or bike to town, the GAP trail, and the river. It was very quiet at the end of the street. It is clean and comfortable. Host was great! Thank you for the stay.

The town of OhioPyle is near and dear to us and as returning guests this house as become a perfect part of our annual trip. Feels like coming home after a fun day with family. Thankful to have a comfy clean space to go back to at the end of the day and Erin is the best!

Communication with host was very good. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen well equipped with major appliances, coffee maker pots, pans, dishes, cups etc. Good laundry facilities. The side porch made a quiet sitting area overlooking this quaint little town. Local businesses within walking distance, between 3 and 7 blocks away. The only thing I would change is to bring my own showering soap and shampoo, as I had forgotten these items weren't provided. Overall a good stay in Ohiopyle.

I was impressed there was not a TV in the house. This area is a travel destination specifically for its outdoor adventures. Having two toddlers in the house it was great that we did not even have to have the screen time argument.

We loved this place, from the retro vibe decor, cleanliness, and the location was perfect for our family, dead end street, close to town, large yard so the kids and dog could play, each day a deer came thru the yard and stopped to nibble on the clover. Erin the host was great to work with:)

A perfect location for a visit to Ohiopyle. Me my wife and daughter stayed here to visit nearby relatives and to do a bike and river rafting trip. Walk to everything!

Nice sized house with big lot. It's located behind the business area of Ohiopyle and the wooded park forms the front and side boundaries of the lot. In other words, you get the woods and the town. The street only has about 4 houses on it and it was very quiet when we stayed. The eat-in kitchen has everything you need. Two small porches give extra space to hang out. Happily recommend.

Ohiopyle is a refreshingly beautiful community but much smaller than we expected so we felt privileged to be part of it. Located at the top corner of town and edged by woods, we had out-of-the-way privacy whlie still within comfortable walking distance. The house was cheerful and cozy with everything we needed for a great escape.

We were biking the gap trail. The cottage was very convenient for our Ohiopyle stay. We were able to charge our electric bikes. The owner is very easy to work with. Great experience.

Had a great time. Missed not having a TV tho. Ha Ha! Wifi made up for it. Heads up. My daughter sat on one of the dining room table's chairs and it wobbled more than normal. It looks like the dow rod construction was loose on the legs of the chain and one other. I tried to push them in as best as I could, and then we put them aside so no one would sit on them. Also noticed your basement window in the back is open. The screen is locked and intact, but the glass window on the insides is wide open. Locked up so I could not go in and shut it. With winter coming you may want someone to shut that. Toilet seats seemed a little loose. That is all I have. We loved it and had a great time. We cleaned up pretty good I believe. Let me know if your Cleaning people disagree. The one thing that I felt bad about is the grass must have just recently been cut, and with all of the rain it was sticking to our shoes. We tried to remember to take our shoes off on the porch, but there was wet grass on the porch carpets. I tried to sweep up, but it was wet, so hopefully it dries up by the time Cleaning gets there and it should come right up. My kids loved your dog picture, as well as a lot of your decorations. Thank you very much!!

Very clean with nice retro travel charm. Only drawback is bathrooms are downstairs and bedrooms are up but stairs are quiet and comfortable. Beds were great. Location is a couple blocks from the tourist bustle but easy access to walk anywhere in town. Was great for a family gathering. Easy access to the trail and a cozy hangout for the ones not into biking..

Nothing fancy, but a nice house. Location was quiet. Clean. Easy to check in. We were only there three days, so we did not cook much. But kitchen was well equipped. Porch on side was nice. There is a nice washer and dryer which came in handy even though we were not expecting to use it. You could easily walk to some places in town. This house also allowed me to bring my dog for a reasonable fee.

The house was exactly as described and communication with Erin was fast and easy! The house was SUPER clean upon arrival. You can’t beat the location - you can walk to town quickly, many trails, and even the natural waterfalls! Wonderful trip! We’ll be back for sure!

Quiet getaway
Needed a getaway to one of my favorite places, Ohiopyle. This property is well maintained, conveniently located up from town and on a quiet deadend street. The owner was very attentive and the property is exactly as described. It comes highly recommended.
