The rooms and breakfast was good.

I was charged a lot and wasn’t even able to stay in the room I booked with balcony. I need my refund from y’all on that. The hotel told me to contact booking Cause I paid $50 extra to have a balcony and they didn’t have a hotel with a balcony.

I liked the 24hour coffee and the breakfast

The bed was a little to hard

Only decaffeinated coffe. The rest was okay.

At the first room I got lock inside bathroom, the knob was not working. I couldn’t open the door from inside, my wife had to open it from outside with a sharp object. Carpet dirty and damage. Tub dirty and with caulk at the drainage. Floor lamp at the second room no switch, I had to unscrew the light bulb to turn it off. No cleaning service and no change of towels on Friday. As well, no coffee and no cups for coffee neither. After the first night I try to talk to someone about these issues but no responsable person or manager at 8:00 am before I left to my dental meeting.

The moment we arrived to check in there was a group of people outside drinking and of course to each their own not really a big deal. I get off and walk into the hotel and I’m hit with a huge smell of weed. I’m 420 friendly but come on. The lady at check in just showed that she didn’t want to be there. Check in was more of a bother to her. We get to my brothers room had a horrible cigarette smoke smell. Our room was just dirty. The pictures online were lies. The bathroom had pee stains on the toilet. The shower was disgusting and covered in gunk. The bed, there was hair left on the pillows. The sheets had hair under them. So it shows it wasn’t washed nor changed. I sprayed every single space we touched with Lysol. I was just disappointed because we spent so much for that type of stay. We always use county inn because it’s always been our go to. Next time we will pay extra to stay somewhere else. The area is also not great. The one person that was nice throughout the stay was the check out lady around 8-9am she was pleasant. We also didn’t know this hotel is “under renovation “ so the pool is closed all season and the place is just dirty. The coffee station was always dirty. The elevator was also super dirty and smelled of smoke. This is my 100% honest opinion. We visited for an orchestra concert my daughter was performing in for the WWII museum Medal of Honor ceremony.

De kamers zijn verouderd. Het is een ouder complex waar niet tussentijds grootschalig gerenoveerd is. Ook voor de ligging moet je realiseren dat het ver uit het centrum is. Wel is het natuurpark (Bayou Sauvage) nabij, wat zeker de moeite is om te verkennen.

Good stay and location to New Orlean downtown. Friendly staff. Very simple breakfast. Construction in the building, but not disturbed us. Our room door was closed not from first time, always double check it for locking. Very dirty floors in the room. Room service every day. Very close to dining area. Nice location. We parked our car and drove by Uber to center for $25 one way in 12 min. More comfortable and safely than to park your car in downtown.

Good breakfast choices, great hot water and pressure shower, quiet air conditioner, dark curtains. The first room we were given stank of cigarette smoke, so they put us in another room without any issues and lots of apologies. Beds very comfy. Very friendly staff.

Filthy floors in the room. Our socks and bare feet were black in about 10-15 minutes. The floors looked like they had been cleaned, but I can only assume with either dirty water or ineffective products. Even the floor at reception was ‘cleaned’ but sticky. We tried cleaning our floor with the bath mat, which ended up black, but the next day the floors were back to being dirty. The room also felt damp quite a lot, despite the air con and bathroom fan being on. Bathroom sink wasn’t cleaned as well as could have been, with foundation stuck on the benchtop.

Desk employee (male at check-in) was not cordial, spoke softly and monosyllables, wasn't welcoming or friendly. Front desk was unoccupied minutes after check in. I had to wait for his return to have a question answered. Morning desk employee (female) was very friendly and empathetic when I informed her of the bugs in my room on the table near the lamp. Ants were seen on the check in desk (employee didn't attempt to remove them), in the elevator, vending room floor near ice machine and table and outside walls. Lamps were rusted and needed updating. The ventilation in the room was terrible. The room felt stuffy and humid. Bathroom was small and the door was tough to open if closed. Overall feeling of uncleanliness in the rooms. The telephone in the room did not work, no dial tone. I was unable to access the internet. I responded to the text inquiry on my phone to ask for help. I was told that the front desk would contact me, no one did. The walls were thin and people were heard loud talking at 2:00 am, disrupting sleep.

Bathroom had condensation which made the floor wet & I slipped & cracked my head off the tiles.

The location price and breakfast

The security guard/ employee who was sleeping in her car while we were locked out of our room because the keycards didn’t work. We came back to our room at 3am and were able to get into the building but not our room. We had to call customer service for them to call the front desk 2 hours later she came to the desk and said the sun or our phones messed up the keys. We asked for a later checkout time for the inconvenience she said “how late is late checkout is at 12”
