It’s a beautiful property and the overall experience is great.

We are a little older so we don’t sleep in. Maybe an earlier serving of breakfast would be nice. That said there is really nothing wrong with 830 and 930.

This historic hotel is updated with all amenities, allows for walking around the pleasant little city of Paonia. The breakfast is outstanding.

We had no complaints

Very nice, my 1st time staying at a B&B, it nice to talk to other guest in a relax atmosphere, enjoyed the breakfast, if you like fruit with your breakfast then this is the place for you. Only 1 minor complaint, old building, so it’s a cooler blowing into the hallway, my room was close to the inlet, noise motor, closed vent above door, open window and slept great.

Finally a place that has great medium firm mattress.

Breakfast was delicious!!! So accommodating, even when we arrived late for check-in.

The owner was very welcoming, and recommended a great place for dinner for my wife, myself and 7 year old daughter. Big Bees Orchard was fantastic. I was surprised to learn that this area is Colorado's farm to table capitol with lots of organic farms and vineyards. The house itself is on the national historic trust list and is very well maintained and tastefully decorated in what I would call a modern arts and craft style. The rooms were great as well without being overly furnished as I feel some B&B's tend to do. All in all a great stay....and yes the pancakes were out of this world!

Everything was good.

Could have been a little cooler.

My husband and I stayed for six nights. We enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms were quaint and nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a nice en suite bathroom. The breakfasts in the morning were phenomenal with something different each morning. There were often left over baked goods left out in the dining area for guests to snack on throughout the day. There was no refrigerator in the room but there was a guest fridge in the dining are to store our perishables. Mike and Suzanne were very accommodating and super knowledgeable. We brought our road bikes and while there was no outdoor bike rack they did help us store them for a night as needed. We quite enjoyed the use of there several outdoor patios for reading a book as well as getting some necessary work done. Would highly recommend a stay here and can't wait to return.

the ambience was pleasant. The staff was very helpful. The decor was thoughtfully planned, loved the “Cather-esque” murals on the stairs.

Room was a bit small but had expected such from description.

very clean generally. nice country/historic ambiance. great location for our stay in Paonia.

bedding was not up to par. Mattress was too soft (old?) and pillows smelled stale and musty. maybe an issue with just our rooms - the last booked on a holiday weekend so potentially the least desirable. only mentioning as honest feedback to proprietor.

No complaints

Sheets and bed, hot tub was clean. Breakfast was definitely worth waiting for! Yummy licious! 😋 the town is depressed but we found a great bakery. Also the local juices from the grocery store where very nice. Lots of local fruit.

The Hotel is lovely, well appointed in keeping with it's history. The owners show obvious pride and care in providing for their guests.

We would have liked a way to make or heat coffee in the evening. This small town closes up early.

The Bross is a beautiful historical home tuned hotel B&B. The owners are kind and the breakfast was amazing.

The only thing missing is a way for physically challenged persons to access the rooms.

This was a lovely place to stay in Paonia. There was also a wonderful free music festival in the park attended by the whole town it seemed. The band from Portland Oregon was terrific and the local musicians who played as the warm up to the main event were terrific. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the towels fluffy and nice. Breakfast was really really good and gourmet. The owners were lovely. Parking was next to the lovely old historic inn and there was even a hot tub. The Inn was full, which is understandable given what a great place it is. Make your reservations in advance!

The breakfast was awesome! The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our stay and will return and recommend this hotel to friends!

lovely old house with nice outside seating areas. a block from main street in town. be aware that there is no tv or internet. Paonia is great location to drive over to see the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
