Bathroom

The building of the appartment is conveniently located regarding both the inner city and the Grand Harbour. The hosts are kind enough to warn you not to keep your food in open spaces as it might attract insects (we also took good care to hide/cover everything) but the chunky cockroaches that welcomed us every single time we entered the appartment had not been anticipated.  The hosts were always helpful by means of exchanging text messages, they were even ready to arrange our transfer from and to the airport. They also put together a fairly informative green folder of things to know, restaurant and programme recommedations, etc. All in all, we mostly slept well and were able to access major landmarks from the appartment but consider the above points before making your booking. 

Spending some time in the appartment and its neighbourhood will definitely give you an aftertaste of the stereotypical mediterranean lifestyle: noise, loud music, bad smells, dead pigeons and scattered rubbish.  The kitchen and bathrooms are well-equipped, however the walls emit humidity and odour (the toilet smells especially bad). The first floor with the double bed and huge wardrobe are spacious enough, although the noise of the water pump might ruin your partner's sweet dreams while you're flushing the toilet. The tiny balcony can't be used as pigeons from above keep leaving their waste on it. Bed linen and towels were clean, as well as the floors and kitchen surfaces but please be aware that the street of the appartment, the kitchen and bathroom parts of the appartment are infested with cockroaches.

Great location, nice and comfortable bedroom (such a great bed). It was nice to find some snacks and water from the host.

The bathroom wasn't very clean, especialy the shower.

Perfectly placed to explore Valletta and for sea trips out of town. Communication with the host and their flexibility is exceptional. Even yoga mats were provided upon request ⭐️

Beautiful bedroom and a really handy location. Air con worked really well and the biscuits and water were a nice touch!

Downstairs wasn't as clean as upstairs. There were several dead flies in the fridge when we arrived and the bathroom had a lot of mould on the walls. The street itself was very noisy and unclean.

The location and facilities available in the apartment were excellent. The apartment was also very well equipped but the star if the show is the location close to scores of shops restaurants and bars. A stones throw from Republic Square

We were not fans if the upstairs downstairs arrangement. The small balcony could have been cleaner. This was in stark contrast to the rest of the apartment which was spotless. Downstairs was a tad dark even in daytime.

The host arranged for us to be picked up from the airport. The driver was friendly with many tips how to enjoy Valetta at best. The location of the apartment is in the heart of the city and close to the Gozo Fast-Ferry terminal. The Apartment is cozy with a historic feeling and architecture.

The overall cleanliness of the apartment was below average. In the bathroom there was white mold which I was able to clean with toilet paper - so not much attention to the detail by the cleaners. Additionally it was really dusty on all furniture and really dusty below the mattress, which I saw by accident. The clean bed sheets were stored there which I found quite unhygienic.

The apartment is really well situated and close to all the main sites, the bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. It feels like you are in the heart of the city and very authentic.
