In Makedonia Studios you are guaranteed a lovely warm welcome, great food, a super comfortable bed and a silent night. This was our second visit. It is very convenient to spend the night in Kamiros Skala if you want to catch the ferry to Halki with no fuss the next morning. The ferry docks within sight of the studios, it is a short walk from breakfast!

It was a very pleasant stay. Transfer was organized even though we only one night stayed. Also food was very tasty. Can only recommend everybody!

Lovely hosts. The food was excellent! They helped us book a taxi from the airport. It is 2 minutes walk from the port. Make sure you try the grilled fish!

On our way to Halki island and booked for an overnight stay ready to catch the early morning ferry. Our flight was late and we arrived at 9.30pm but we were met by a very friendly and welcoming lady who immediately cooked us dinner. Room was clean and spacious with a balcony, and included everything we needed. Complimentary water was in the fridge along with snack, and complimentary shower products in the bathroom. Tea and coffee also provided. If you need overnight accommodation at Kamiros Skala port enroute to Halki this is perfect, less than a few minutes walk to the ferry. We would definitely stay here again!

The room is excellent, very clean, quiet.. you have own kitchen room, shower room and wonderful view to the sea. The room decorations etc. are finished very well, The room consists 2pcs, well functioning air conditioners. Also personnel, restaurant and food was excellent.. higly recommended..

Best apartment ever. The staff treats me like a family member. I felt very welcomed. It is better to stay for more than one night. It is nice and calm place. You can have meal at this place. You can wander around.

We come every year on our way from Rhodes airport to Halki island, it's a wonderful and highly recommended stay.

the apartment was wonderful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, great owners and above a taverna so more than enough to eat. very relaxing place and next to the small harbor that connects to Chalki

Very convenient access to the ferry for Halki. Very helpful and kind to cook for us even if late.

The (family) staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was well equipped and clean with strong wifi. The inn is easily accessible by foot from the port. There is a small beach nearby.

The location is a mixed blessing. It's very close to the port, but at the same time, there is nothing in the immediate area so you either need to have rented a car or be willing to use taxis.

the location is excellent for getting the morning ferry to Halki. Maria and her mother are attentive friendly and helpful people who made me feel very welcome. Food is excellent and plentiful. Accommodation is comfortable and clean.

A minor issue but lack of hot water in the morning. Not a big problem in the heat and may be due to solar heated water from day having been used.

We loved meeting this lovely family, who were welcoming and generous! (We left with dried herbs to make delicious mountain tea) This taverna has been run by the same family for 40 years, and they blend tradition with fresh attitudes. Their daughter, Maria, who cooks, has recently trained at Thessaloniki, and the food is great! The rooms were spotless, and it made for a relaxed trip to taxi down from Rhodes airport, with time to settle in, have a swim, and then a beautiful meal of Greek food cooked by Maria. We caught the ferry to Halki the next morning. PS the ferry is directly across the road from Makedonia rooms. It couldn't have been easier. I recommend taking that extra night to start your holiday in a relaxing way!

The family that run it are very welcoming and helpful. We had a fantastic fish dinner and a very good breakfast. This is a well run traditional Greek taverna with good fresh local food and great hospitality. It was just what we were looking for and we will return. We were on our way to Halki and the rooms are very close to the port.

The staff were so friendly and kind enough to let us have the room until our afternoon ferry! Amazing breakfast too and a lovely room. U highly recommend Makadonia!
