loved the property, it is as you see it online. location- not too far from the beach, rooms are cleaned daily, staff are amazing

The breakfast wasn’t the best, ie, I had pancakes most days and they’re luke warm. The rooms are cleaned at what you can see but behind curtains etc are dusty

the staff in reception had absolutely no idea! could never book taxi and most things were a big deal! I had a friend ring from overseas who wanted to pay and send two bottles of don perignon to the room as a congratulations and they couldn’t do it either!

-staff was very friendly; -the room was very clean and the cleaning staff would come daily; -the bed was amazing; -the pool is really really clean and big, we stayed mostly there, it makes you forget about the beach; -very good hairdryer (usually there are very cheap hairdriers in hotels, but this one was not like that)

-the breakfast could have been more diverse given the fact that it’s a 4* hotel (also some greek local food would be appreciated) -the tv should be upgraded since it is not a smart tv (the tv programs are very few)

The rooms are big and with a big open door to the pool. Its very clean and quiet during the night. The staff are amazing people!

The private pool is not so private since you can see on your neighbours pool and terrace. The pool light is always opened, so you have to sleep with the curtain fully closed.

Private swimming pool was great, staff at the bar was really kind and welcoming and cocktails were great

Very comfortable room with fabulous private terrace and own swim up pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived late evening and the chef stayed to cook us a meal! Fantastic service. Very good breakfast, cooked to order.

The room was fabulous, lovely and spacious with private pool. Staff were very friendly too all speaking English. There was free parking onsite for our hire car and they also allowed us to check in early for free which was great!

There wasn't much to not like to be honest. The only thing I can say is that with it being 10 mins from the airport the private pool /spa rooms are in direct line with the runway so you get planes flying over coming into land. We got used to it after a day or so, but just isn't mentioned on their website or page.

Not sure why you can’t use a kettle but can use other facilities and no mini bar as stated. I understand COVID but unsure how a minibar is effected by Covid?

The room is lovely and your private pool/deck area is the best part of the stay. Front desk receptionist was very welcoming. Great area to walk to restaurants in the evening. The infinity pool is very large and pretty much had it to myself for lap swimming.

Breakfast was very good but portions could be smaller. When asking for smaller portions it confused them and the same ones still came out, so I gave up. Sad that the indoor pool was closed due to Covid and sad that you could not make yourself a cup of tea or coffee in room. Kettle had a sign saying it was not allowed due to Covid

We had an amazing time at the Golden Sun Resort. The staff was just exceptional. I have never experienced such a kind hotel staff: Always super helpful, friendly and smiling. At this stage, a big "thank you" to the entire team for making us feel so welcome and well treated. The room with private pool was super nice. Everything in the room and in the resort itself was very clean. The hotel is also very well located. Two minutes walk to the Kalamaki beach (turtle nesting beach), very close to bars and restaurants. I would totally recommend this accommodation to everyone.

The hotel is pretty new and the rooms are spotless and pristine. Our first room had a jacuzzi, the second a private swimming pool. The presence of the pool is a clear plus: drinking a cocktail on your terrace overlooking your pool is very, very nice. Rooms are rather big with all that is required. The hotel is located very close to Kalamaki beach, near Laganas - on the south coast of Zante, a 12 min drive to Zakynthos. No traffic, so pretty quiet in the evening (Laganas can be quite animated ...). Very helpful personnel at the reception, great indications.

The hotel is just in the path of planes landing at Zante airport. Given the fact that the track starts just 1 or 2 km from the hotel, their altitude is very low when they fly above the hotel. This is rather surprising the first time. Some noise, but not really a problem for us. Breakfast is "à la carte" but was really not great. No option was really to our taste and we ended up just eating fruits. The hotel is in two parts: the hotel itself, where the reception is and the resort, which is on the same compound but where the bungalows are. Somewhat strange to navigate, though not really a problem.

This resort is amazing. Location, food, service, facilities and rooms are excellent.
