Great, relaxing cabin! We were just looking for a weekend away from the normal routine and work. This was dog friendly and perfect!

We had a blast!! I asked A million questions before the trip and Deb was amazing!! I’ll be staying there again!

Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed staying here. From day one, the communication was very prompt and informative. Everything appeared just as the pictures showed in the listing. Very clean!! I even brought items that were already provided. I will definitely be making my rounds to experiencing the other listings that Deb Parry has for Calico Heights. I am making it a habit where I do a self-care trip 4 times out of the year and this will definitely be one of my regular stays. By the way, the view is amazing!!

Our stay was amazing! The cabins were very clean and welcoming. Deb and her husband were very gracious and kind even helped us unload the car the next day because we had to move to a different cabin due to mother nature's bad sense of humor. Will definitely be going again! Again thank you so much!!

The owners went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. We walked into a beautiful cabin that was clean and welcoming. There was a folder with all the information you need about surrounding area shopping, restaurants, hiking, and water sport options. We chose to rent one of the pontoon boats for half a day and we should have rented it the whole day as that’s how much fun we had! The boats are beautiful and the owner made sure we knew everything we needed to before we left the doc. We also took the provided kayaks out and fished around the lake. The owner showed us some areas to find bait fish and even caught some for us. We had such a good time relaxing together and being on the lake. Thank you to the Parry’s! You guys know how to welcome guests.

Our stay was wonderful, but renting the pontoon boat is what really made this a five-star experience. The location is secluded and quiet with a wonderful sunset view from the balcony. I think trimming the trees around the property would go a long way toward improving the already impressive view. You'll take some long dirt roads to get to the cabin and to the dock. Four-wheel drive isn't necessary, but maybe leave your Audi at home. The wi-fi is nearly non-existent, I got better results just using cellular and there are no premium movie channels. It's been many years since I've had to watch regular TV and commercials. I should have downloaded some movies before my trip. Lastly, as I mentioned before, renting the pontoon boat is a must. The charge for a half or full day pontoon boat is extremely reasonable, the dock is a quick and easy drive, and check-in and out was a breeze. We've already shared our experience with others along with an easy recommendation to book here anytime you need a lake getaway.

Super clean, very clear instructions, as advertised. Not a shorefront property but close to boat ramps and a beach; about 20-30 mins from food. Gated community off gravel road access.

We had a great time at the yellow cabin! The trail nearby was a lot of fun! The kitchen was nicely stocked, there were toiletries available if you had forgotten something. Would definitely stay again or recommend to friends and family.

Was my boyfriends birthday so I took him to calico heights. We were both impressed.

This loft was the perfect getaway for two. Deb provided great directions and information before we even started our trip so getting there and checking in was a breeze. The loft had everything we needed and then some, with additional supplies in the nearby guest closet. The view from the upper deck was beautiful and our entire trip was so relaxing. Thank you Deb and Justin for providing such a great experience!

So glad I found and chose Calico Heights. I actually extended my stay once I arrived. So I enjoyed two cabins: the yellow Lift and the Turquoise Nest. Comfortable, clean, attention to details which made for an enjoyable stay. Awesome views. Awesome sunsets over the lake. Well maintained trails for walking. I would definitely go back— hopefully in warm weather when it would be suitable to enjoy the decks.

The cabin is amazing. Private area, great view of the lake. The hosts were beyond accommodating!

This bright, cheery cabin has a fantastic view, especially the upper deck. The folder prepared by the owners has so much information, helped make our stay much more enjoyable. There was firewood ready for the fire pit, plenty of linens, we were duly impressed. I can easily recommend this gated getaway. Privacy from the other cabins, a group area for picnics, horseshoes, I can't think of much they missed here! I will maybe try one of the other cabins on our next visit to see what we are missing!
