About 15 min walk to city centre, very clean and quiet place. Host was awsome very cooperative. All utilities were top class .. feels like home.

I found the Mandala very comfortable, the bedroom is big, the decor modern and fresh the bed comfortable and the bathroom very good. Everywhere was lovely and clean. My room had a nice little balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The breakfast room was fine, with a separate table for the (2) rooms. The breakfast was all pre-packed but rather better than most with apples, bananas, fruit juices, yoghurts, cereals and milk as well as a choice of 4 different packaged cakes and various biscuits, good coffee machine and milk heater. I liked it a lot. The street its in is fairly affluent and felt safe. I'd happily stay there again. The manager was very helpful and generous spirited, suggested 6 different restaurants and told me to call him day or night if I needed anything or had any problems. He isn't permanently on site but came within 5 minutes of my phoning to say I'd arrived. I recommend it as a cheap, modest luxury for anyone on the Via Francigena. The extra walk is more than compensated for by the room's comfortableness, manager's helpfulness and the excellent price.

The B&B is about 10 minutes walk out of the old town but is not difficult to reach.
