Avec 51 pieds de façade sur la rivière et juste en bas de «la chute», Das Fluss Hutte est situé sur l'un des endroits les plus pittoresques et les plus pratiques de la Guadalupe. À distance de marche de 3 pourvoiries pour répondre à tous vos besoins flottants. Situé au cœur du Texas Hill Country, le Das Fluss Hutte est le `` camp de base '' parfait pour flotter la rivière, voir des divertissements en direct, explorer les fantastiques boutiques du centre-ville de New Braunfels et de Gruene, visiter, manger et vivre des expériences en plein air aventures. Ou, si vous préférez, l'endroit idéal pour vous asseoir au bord de la rivière à l'ombre et regarder la Guadalupe passer et profiter des abondants canards, oies, cerfs, poissons et troupeaux occasionnels de dindes sauvages et de cyprès de plus de 100 ans et noix de pécan. La terrasse récemment rénovée et agrandie dispose d'un bar de 16 pieds de long avec des tabourets de bar pour profiter de votre café tôt le matin pour regarder et entendre la rivière se réveiller le matin tranquille. The location is excellent, either for its direct river access (mainly for floating) and right in the heart of local activities, mainly tubing. The cabin is modest in terms of furnishings, bedding, and amenities -- on par for a country cabin -- but comfortable and quiet and spacious. Take a little extra care to watch your head and your step. Most visitors to the area camp along the main road, so having a cabin with multiple window-unit ACs right along the water is a relative luxury. The owner advice was spot on -- we used the local tour company he recommended up the street, and had a fantastic and memorable day of tubing, concluding with some of the best burgers. We had a great time, no problems or issues to complain of, and would happily recommend this cabin to others.

We stayed four nights in mid August with our family of four before the kids (10 & 12) had to start school again. We found the property to be accurately described and well taken care of. Owner/host, John, was easy to communicate with and super helpful. Honestly, he was more of a concierge than a VRBO host in his response time and travel suggestions. Thank you for a lovely stay and tell Barney “hi”.

Overall enjoyed my stay at Das Fluss Hutte! Perfect location! Walking distance to lone star float house (~8 min). If you bring your own floats you can float your way back to the cabin. John (host) was very helpful! Cabin had a grill and fire pit on site for use. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the scenery. Perfect place to have a relaxing weekend getaway.

The property was as described. The cabin was decorated so cute and the beds were comfortable. John gave helpful information regarding floating the river and his recommendation for the best burger on the river from Lonestar Float house was spot on! We will be booking here again!

It's a river cabin. The grounds, view and access to the river is hard to beat. It's a peaceful place off season.

Our stay was great. It’s conveniently placed 5 minutes from a tubing outfitter with shuttles and a place to eat. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio watching hummingbirds, deer, ducks, and geese right there in the backyard.
John is a very respectable host and an all around good person. Our group has already said if we come back, this is the place.

The inside of the house and rooms was smaller than what we thought before we arrived, but there was still plenty of room for us to enjoy our trip. The area was beautiful and the view was great. The owner was very helpful and did ensure that our trip was worry free and fun.

Great house! Great Host!
Came out to float the river and spent most of our time just chilling at this beautiful spot. We saw tons of wildlife and it was a nice quiet location away from the parties enough to enjoy it. The host was awesome and super accommodating. We will definitely stay here again next year.

Great place to stay if you are looking to catch up with friends and relax. Easy access to the river if just want to chill. Short walk up the road to the tube rental if you want a float trip. Would stay again for sure.

The location is great. The house had everything we needed. Great deck for evening gatherings. Great back yard. John, the host, was great. Met us when we arrived to explain a few things about the house. We had a great time.

Cozy, clean, and a beautiful waterfront location!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this cozy littler river house. The location was absolutely perfect! Upon arrival we were greeted by John who made sure to get us settled in and tell us all we needed to know about the house and the surrounding areas. Within an hour, we had our stuff unpacked and were hopping in the river on our floats to start a much needed weekend of relaxation. Thank goodness the neighborhood pet Goose…..my husband called him a Goose-ster….Barney was there to honk us awake like a rooster right after the sunrise to get our day started! He was adorable! We hit the river after breakfast and stayed in it all day. We barbecued at night for dinner and then enjoyed S’mores at the fire pit. We will definitely be back!!

Another wonderful experience!
This is our second trip, to celebrate our anniversary. As always, the accommodations are clean and comfortable. The draw for us is the river and the beautiful, natural setting. The second day we were enjoying it so much, we couldn’t stand the idea of not sharing the experience with our 3yo grandson. They came for the afternoon to enjoy the great outdoors! The water level was perfect for him to “swim like a fish” right in front of the cabin. His mom and grandmother (me😉) floated on tubes while his Poppie “watched over” him. Of course Barney (the Goose of the Guadalupe) wasn’t going to miss out on the fun. He joined me on my tube! Our grandson was VERY disappointed to not spend the night on the bunk beds upstairs. There is a fire pit for nighttime relaxation watching the fireflies.
Our last morning, we made it a point to watch the sunrise. We watched deer, ducks, otters, and Barney begin their day in the calm of the morning. I feel completely rejuvenated! We can’t wait to return next year...if we can wait that long!

John was very hands on with our rental experience. He even provided a small fishing pole for my 6 yo. Water was shallow enough for my 6 yo to wade through the water waist deep we enjoyed our stay He lives next door, so if you are trying to get rowdy, this is not the place for you

Great Getaway!
Lovely location for a riverside vacation. Easy access to all the fun spots without the noise of crowds. Beautiful spot for floating or just sitting to watch the wildlife and lighting bugs! House is very clean and comfortable enough to accommodate 6 adults. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all communication. We had a wonderful time!

End of summer farewell
My husband and I took our son, his girlfriend, his best friends and our nephew, all ages 18-20, to the river to say farewell to the summer before they all went back to college. We had a fabulous time!! John was a FABULOUS host, he gave us plenty of river and local area restaurant information prior to check-in and made himself available for any questions throughout the stay. The house was cute and the deck looking over the back yard with river access was spectacular! Would definitely visit this property again.

Perfect little spot
I’m mad that we didn’t book longer. We stayed in San Antonio for 3 nights and finished it off with this house for 2 nights. We should of stayed here the whole time. John and his wife’s river set up is so so perfect. We hung out down by the river majority of the time and on the patio. Very close to Roy’s rentals and Lonestar Float house so it’s very convenient to float the river. He also has anchors where you can just float right in front of the house. Everything you could possibly need is there. This will be the only river house we book from now on. Just absolutely perfect!

River Getaway
We float the river every year and have stayed any where from a hotel, tent, RV, on the river, different campgrounds, in town and this by far was the best trip and place we have stayed. Perfect location, the house was cute and quaint and the owner was the nicest guy we have dealt with. We loved Barney the neighborhood Goose!
