Had a great time although the weather didn’t cooperate, enjoyed the camp especially the beautiful backyard. Owners Mickey and Gracie are very friendly people, they answered all our questions and concerns promptly. Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I booked a couple of weeks here for a week of vacation and a week of remote work, and everything was just right. The house is very nicely appointed and quite comfortable, and the lake location was beautiful. We spent some wonderful days paddle-boarding and boating on the lake, hiking in the nearby mountains, relaxing around the house, grilling on the deck and driving around and getting to know the area. Mickey and Grace were great hosts and readily available when needed. Everything was well-arranged, they answered any questions very promptly, and were very accommodating. Different people will have different views on this, but we appreciated that the house had everything that we needed and was tastefully decorated, but was not “overly-decorated” or chock-a-block full of curios and the like. In that way, it was very easy to get comfortable there so we felt quite at home. It was really a perfect stay and we certainly look forward to an opportunity to return.

When we arrived at the house , we were greeted by Mickey & Grace, it was like we knew each other for years , they walked us through their home , everything you need is there , the house is spotless . Gorgeous view of the lake and nice fire pit and back deck . A plus to have a washer and dryer 😀 If you like fishing , lower and upper Chateaugay Lake will not disappoint , we are planning are week for next year

Beautiful house and property! The downstairs bedrooms are a bit awkward with one accessible only through another. Lots of stairs... overall, we had a great time, many laughs and a spectacular view.

Had a great stay at this place. Very cute house and beautiful space on the lake. There are some steps to contend up and down and is fairly close to the road in the front. Neither really bothered me. We spent days dancing to the music from their music system, fishing from the dock, relaxing by the fire, cooking on the grill and able to get some work in when needed with their fast WIFI internet. Mobile phone service readily available on the premises which is great on this lake. We love being able to spend time on the lake each summer and really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic property in a beautiful location. Fishing was great, laughs were had, beverages were consumed, and memories made. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Chateaugay Lake! Mickey and Grace are fantastic hosts - easy to get in touch with and happy to help. The property is right on the water, with a dock and a walk-in entrance to the lake. It's shallow at the shore and around the dock, the water is very clear, and the sunsets can't be beat. We can't wait to return!

As parents and brother of the groom & as such wanting to attend the pre-wedding events, we needed a place close to the bride's parents, yet apart from the hustle and panic. This lakefront cabin was perfect for us, and I hope we can go back there again and again.

Upon are arrival we were pleased to see the quality of the home, the property was clean and well equipped for our stay. The owners are fantastic people and take pride in what they have. If I could change anything it would be having tie offs on the dock for boats as well as column bumpers.Thank you for a memorable vacation.

Lovely home! The living room is big and comfortable. The bedrooms are very nice. The willow tree is great to sit and read a book on vacation.

Beautiful sunsets and sunrises, canoeing over beautiful chateautigay lake.Catshing nice size small mouth bass. Just a few of the activities that made our stay most enjoyable and most of all very clean and nice living enviorment. What more would you want ? Plan to visit back again.

Our family of five had an amazing time at this wonderful property. From touch football on the lake-front lawn to evenings on the deck and around the fire pit, this house has everything that someone would want in an Adirondack vacation. We rented a boat and zipped around wonderful Chateaugay Lake. The excellent Malone Golf Club is only 30 minutes away and we walked right on the course on a weekday. While we have traditionally spent more time in the High Peaks region, this is a really cool part of the Adirondacks with a ton to do. And if you are looking for hikes -- they are here too. Lyon Mountain is a several-hour climb.

A great house that accommodated our family of 5! Beautiful lake views and perfect water for swimming. Our children enjoyed playing on the lawn and we loved watching the sunset from the dock. The owners were very nice and we look forward to renting this house again!

Great location with easy access to either Plattsburgh or Malone for shopping. The lake is great for swimming and water sports if desired. The owners are very accommodating and the house was spotless on arrival. I would and have recommended this camp to friends. The three decks provide great views of the lakes and we enjoyed the fire pit. It is so handy have a washer and dryer on premises. The new flat screen tv was a welcome addition.

Not only was the place impeccably clean and had the most beautiful, serene setting, but the owners were so accommodating!!! We loved our visit and won't forget our time there, thanks. Andreia

We enjoyed our time at this property very much. This was an excellent spot for swimming and water sports. We loved the multiple decks. Many great spots for quiet reading or enjoying a meal. The lawn was a great space for our son to run around. All in all, a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Wunderschönes Haus, direkt am See gelegen. Man kann schwimmen, Boot fahren oder einfach nur den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Großer Grill ist vorhanden. Küche gut ausgestattet. Vom Wohnzimmer hat man einen wundervollen Blick auf den See. Zu jeder Jahreszeit ein Vergnügen. Sehr nette Vermieter. Das Haus ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Excellent spacious vacation home, right on the lake with a large private garden and direct waterfront access. The decks over look the lake and are great for BBQs using the owner's gas fired BBQ. It is indeed on the sunny side of the lake and the sunsets were beautiful. The only time the teenage kids left the property during the week was to drive up to the boat rental and sail back. The property is in the northern part of the Adirondacks and local activities are all based around the lake. Dont go expecting mountain hiking trails.
