This is a beautiful home, well laid out, but several negatives, and I was immediately put-off, as upon entry, the house appears abandoned- the outside of this corner home is filled with trees, but there is overgrowth of weeds & grasses around stepping stones and other areas that really decrease the curb appeal. The wood steps upon entry are old, and several boards are beginning to soften and rot.The gutters are packed with leaves and are stained with mildew. Upon entry, there was mildew around the entry light switches. There was mildew around the bathroom vents as well. There were beautiful hardwood floors throughout the first floor, but the carpet in the first floor master was disgusting. Large stains - as if someone vomitted all over, and it was not professionally cleaned.
There was a large carpet remnant at the foot of the master bed- again covering more stains- disgusting. There were several other concerns that were raised through Vacasa- which was not a good experience. Automated responses- no personal experience at all. I will be sure to never book through Vacasa again.

Our stay at Seabrook Island was all we knew it would be and more with this house and location. We rented bikes and enjoyed the ride to and from the pool and beach areas. The house was large enough for my family of 5 and their plus ones. The property manager immediately responded with any questions that I had during the stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were large and comfortable. The warm water in the shower was endless. We never had to worry about taking a cold shower because of others using the warm water. The owner had enough appliances, cookware and utensils that’s needed. We could have used more bowls and drinking glasses, but the dishwasher worked great on the ones we needed to clean. The property outside does need some work, but we weren’t having a lawn party so it didn’t matter. I would recommend this house to others! Enjoy!!

Honestly the house was way too big for us. But it had everything we needed. We were not impressed with Xfinity for cable, or streaming, lots of freezing up and buffering. The kitchen was great, might want to have instructions on how to operate the stove top. Everything worked well and if we had a bigger party we would definitely stay again. Beds were also very comfy, we look out for that, they worked well for us.

Great location but maids need to do a better job. Grease on rangetop, mold on ice maker, cob webs on most interior walls and all exterior handrails and doorways, dust balls on return air vents. On the positive side home was well stocked with most essentials and very comfortable. Just needs some attention to cleaning it up.

Perfect for mixed age groups
This house was perfect for our group which included 3 generations of family and a couple of friends. There was plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen was large and well-supplied and there were plenty of towels. Appliances, TVs, AC and lighting all worked fine. Would definitely stay here again if we were in this area. The only caveat we found was the open hallway upstairs allows sound to carry easily to the upstairs bedrooms. Any night owls would need to whisper after anyone had gone upstairs to bed.

Disappointing for the $$$$
We were happy to stay in a dog-friendly home in a beautiful neighborhood. The home itself was poorly appointed. Beds not comfortable, no floor mats at entry points to wipe feet. Cooktop didn’t work, or we were unable to figure it out even watching YouTube videos. Gas grill in terrible shape (which was our only method for cooking). It was just “ok”…we joked all weekend that we were camping and made the best of it. Surroundings are beautiful, and Vacasa staff was responsive and helpful. In fairness, we didn’t bother to tell them about the cooktop or grill…we figured there wasn’t much they could do about it. We did tell them there were no oven mitts and they brought some within a couple of hours.

Ok but issues.
Terrific layout and kitchen. The big issue was the air conditioning started to sputter on Thursday and was never repaired. A tech was promised on Saturday after our departure. Was promoted see some compensation.

Would stay here again
We vacationed with our children’s families… the space and amenities were excellent. Much better beds than some rentals! Initially there was a Wifi issue… they were on it like stink on weed - which was greatly appreciated. Hope it is available again in two years.

Bedrooms were all spacious; great proximity to amenities. House could use small touches to make it a 5 star rating - same items mentioned in prior reviews (better curtain to living room, some shades didn't close, odd outlets in master bath). Grateful we could bring our pet!

Peaceful Stay
We were very comfortable staying here. The home has great space. We spent a lot of time listening to music and being together as a family. My only complaints are that the home did not have a broom and dustpan and the shower curtains were moldy. Bring your own kitchen towels because there were only 2. Otherwise it was great for the kids and adults. Beautiful floors and great ambiance. Seabrook is a wonderful place to visit.

Where’s the upkeep?
The home inside was very clean and well equipped, but the outside needs a lot of work. The entire house needs to be pressured washed to clean up the gutters, deck and front stairs. There are several places on the front and back stairs that are rotted and a rug on the deck is covering up a hole with a nail sticking out (a total safety hazard)

Cons: No privacy in master. No shades on windows, only a sheer fabric blind on sliding door between family/sunroom and master.

Spacious house! Great location
We loved the house! Very spacious and great location. A few things to share:
1: Front door keyless entry is a problem and in our opinion needs immediate attention. The lock needs to be explained to renters or replaced. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not. Very frustrating.
2: Hornet nest by front door
3: Many squeaky doors that need WD40.
4: Roaches in kitchen and upstairs bedroom

House was tucked into a very private lot. Very spacious, light and airy.
I love Seabrook Island but haven’t been back in many years. It did not disappoint. So relaxing and tranquil. The house was roomy and very clean. The kitchen was big but could definitely use some up updates. We loved the beverage cooler. Being so lush there were many bugs like mosquitoes and large spiders so we didn’t spend much time on the back deck. The house is what I think of as a beach house. Where you can bring in sand and put your feet up and not worry about it. Thanks for the great 2 weeks.

We had a 4 couples in town for a wedding and this house fit the bill perfectly. Everything was clean and ready for use when we arrived. I would rent again.
