The property is truly an oasis. Beautiful outdoor space and lovely interior. Great dining options in close walking distance and beach a block away. Frank was very welcoming and checked in with me several times. Close to LMU where my daughter is attending college. I will definitely stay here again.

Tiny but mighty! Truly wonderful beach location for our family of 4! I had a hard time deciding where to stay and started out booking two hotels in Venice beach and upon further research decided Venice just isn’t where I wanted to stay with my young kids so I did more research and found this perfect little gem in the cutest little beach town. The house was fantastic, the extra toiletries for travelers who may have forgotten things was such a nice touch. Everything was clean and having a washer and dryer made everything easier for us! Can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Frank’s beautiful home. It’s close to the beach (including a great bike/walking path), and a great location for drives to other beachside communities. The garden is beautiful and would be a perfect spot for relaxing and outdoor dining if the weather permits. A few good restaurants are also within walking distance.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, excellent location and very close to the airport. One block from the beautiful beach and ocean. Plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance too. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The communication was prompt and helpful. After doing all the touristy site seeing, it was a pleasure to return to relax at this wonderful apartment. Highly recommend. Look forward to visiting again.

A great apartment in a great location with peaceful outdoor areas to relax. Fully equipped kitchen, but plenty of nearby restaurants if you don’t want to cook. One block from the beach for walking, running, surfing or just sitting. We will be back!

Our stay in Playa was amazing and we will certainly be back! My wife and I are Food Network junkies. We made the trip from New Orleans to the L.A. area for our anniversary to eat at several restaurants owned by some of the celebrity-chefs that we follow (Brook Williamson, Antonia Lofaso, Stephanie Izard and Shirley Chung). They were all amazing, but we HIGHLY recommend Girl & the Goat (Izard's place).
Frank was an amazing host. Our flight landed at LAX at noon. The normal check-in time was set for 4pm, but we asked Frank if we could check-in when we arrived at noon. We had two options: (1) hope that nobody booked the house the day before us; or (2) pay 1/4 of the daily rate to guarantee our early check-in. We chose the latter which was very fair. We did not want to land and have no place to put our luggage for four hours. We also asked Frank to have some champagne in the room for us to enjoy when we checked in. He obliged and allowed us to purchase a bottle of great champagne from his personal stash!
The dive bars in Playa are also amazing. We spent lots of time at The Shack and Mo's. These places had a great local vibe and the locals that we met were awesome. We made lifelong friends in Playa!

Hit my three must haves:
1. Clean - This place was impeccably clean
2. Comfy bed -Good mattress and super soft bedding
3. Good shower -Bathroom is small, but shower is BIG with plenty of high pressure hot water.
Bonus:
So nice to walk to restaurants. We walked to a great coffee and breakfast place right around the corner, and a great Italian restaurant.

We had a great 3 day stay. The apartment is very nice, clean, and comfortable. The outdoor space is beautiful and the owner has done a fantastic job making a person feel like they are truly in an oasis by the sea.
The location is very close to the beach and we enjoyed being able to walk over in the mornings and evenings to watch the sunset. The town has plenty of places to eat and get coffee within walking distance.
Frank is a great host and there were no issues during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place.
Also, the proximity to the airport is very convenient. I had to catch a flight to return to the east coast and it took no time at all to drop off the rental car and get to the terminal.

We loved our time in Playa Del Rey. The property fit our needs well and the location was great. Frank was kind, helpful, and responsive. We especially loved the beautiful outside dining area where we could eat and play board games. We loved our daily walks and bike rides on the beach and can't wait to come back.

A beautiful space within walking distance to the beach!
The apartment was just as pictured---clean and filled with natural light. We were so close to the beach, we could hear the wves crashing at nigt. I loved the outdoor patio space---we saw some beautiful birds there too. The kitchen was well stocked with very modern appliances. It really was the perfect place for my daughter and my husband and I. We hope to go back there soon!

Great spot
My wife and I and our 6yo son stayed here for 10 days. The apartment was exactly as pictured and well equipped. The outdoor area was lovely and relaxing to spend time in as well. The owner Frank was super nice, responsive, and accommodating. It was a block from the beach. Even though we had a car, we were able to take bird scooters to both Marina Del Ray and El Segundo, which was a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it.

Lovely house next to the beach
We had a great time staying at this house next to the beach. Beautiful Zen backyard. My two little ones loved the playground across the street and the easy beach access. Great selection of restaurants within walking distance.

Cute stay near beach
Loved our stay at Frank's cozy place which is basically a first floor apartment in his townhouse. There's a little courtyard you walk through and the entrance of the apartment is at the back of the house, adjacent to the back patio.
Super clean and Frank communicated throughout the stay.

Can't beat the location!
We came to LA to visit our son and enjoyed an 8 night stay here. We were very relaxed and found it an extremely "easy" place to settle into. Great location in proximity to LA yet it's also a truly beach vacation with the beach, bike rentals, and restaurants only a block or two away. The outdoor environment is beautiful and very zen. The indoor has everything you need for a lengthy stay such as what we had. The space was clean, up-dated, and with clear instructions on how to use all the appliances, technology, etc.
Frank was a wonderful host as well and we look forward to returning!

Great condo close to the beach
This was our first time in Playa del Rey. The condo is small but had everything we need. It's decorated nicely, very clean and quality. And the outdoor back patio is a nice, private space. The owner (Frank) is great to work with and very responsive. VERY short walk to the beach and great, local restaurants/bars/shops. Hope to stay here next time we are in town.

Peaceful and relaxed
I came to LA to visit grandchildren and feel relaxed and peaceful. I had it all. My two granddaughters stayed a couple of nights and we enjoyed the cute eateries near by and the quiet surroundings. I had the chance to take some long runs in the morning and enjoy the ocean breeze. The place was perfect.

This property is truly a hidden paradise! The property is beautiful and you feel like you have been transported to another place. The accommodations are roomy and comfortable. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the LAX Beach Pad. The place was exactly as listed through VRBO. The property was very clean and the location was perfect. We were a block from the beach and all the dining areas in the Playa Del Rey area. We were extremely comfortable and the property owner took very good care of us. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

Amazing property with great hosts
Condo was everything we could have wished for. Frank and Darren were amazing when we got lost finding the place. They even sent me a Google map so I could find it. Not difficult to find just user error.
Later in the stay Darren was there in minutes when I had another issue. It was great working with them.

Love the LA beach pad
We stayed here four nights and absolutely loved the area. It is a quiet family oriented town, everyone is so friendly, beach is literally across the street. Great park across the street too. The place was super clean and roomy. All the benefits needed where there. The owners made sure they were available if needed. I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to return to LA
