Beautiful location with spectacular sun sets over the mountains

Lots of mosquitos, few hornets. And many ants inside the property.

Beautiful place in the hills with a fantastic view over the wineyards and (a glimpse of) the harbour of Bandol. The Lodge (we rented “le Ponant”) was simple, but nicely decorated, ckean and very cosy. We enjoyed the stay very much.

It seems that the premisses are still undergoing some work, which made it seem quite rural and messy - and did not reflect the nice and cosy interieur! “Le Ponant” is not that private as the other lodges - as we were the only one there except from a nice and friendly couple next door, it was not really a problem for us - but it might be, if the place are fully booked! When you book the place, you get the impression, that there is a swimmingpool accessible for all the lodges, which is not the case. This could/should be better marked! It might be a problem in regards to Booking.com!

garden needs attention. garden furniture broken. stoned terrace needs attention to make it enjoyable. smell of cess pit noticeable outside.

aweseome place, quiet and in the middle of nature. the appartement was very clean and cosy.

it was a pity that there were no bikes available as it is written on the website.

We found the address ok, but very hard to find the property on site and pleased that we were not arriving after dark. Access was hard to find to the lower terrace and would benefit from a proper gravel path and a sign post from the parking area directing you to the property is all that is needed.

We loved this place! If you want to feel real Provence, stay here;) The studio is very nice and there is everything what you can need. Stéphane is friendly and helphul host. We enjoyed very much!
