Snowcap was perfect for our summer family reunion. 8 adults and 3 children were exceptionally comfortable. It was our first time in Lake Harmony and the beach access was lovely. Half of the week had horrible weather but we had a great time cooking, eating, watching movies and reading books together. Thank you for a great place!

Many things to like, but most importantly we really enjoyed the space (both inside and outside).
The trees provided shade, nice and cool evenings, and the house covered our needs.

The property comfortably fit our group of 19 for a trip to the Poconos with adequate parking as advertised. The large deck was perfect for grilling in good weather and covered sections worked well for periods of rain. The fire pit and hot tub were nice additions for visits year round. Minor issues during our stay were promptly addressed by the owner and community maintenance. All were friendly, thorough and responsive. Gas/grocery/local businesses nearby, 30 minutes to major area attractions. I would gladly recommend this property for large groups and stay again. We had a great time!

Snowcap loved up to its billing. Large group for a golf getaway and the house did not disappoint. Plenty of rooms/beds/bathrooms... large spacious areas inside and out... and very fair pricing. Definitely recommend for large families or groups and would stay again for sure! Thx

We were very disappointed with this rental. There were basics that were not there like a blender, non stick pans (which I asked if they had and they said yes), towels for the kitchen and many more. The house is not big enough to have all 21 of us sit jn one room together. The basement smelled horrible, dishwasher and dishes smelled like fish. By far the worst VRBO rental we've done. They gave us 2 pods for the dishwasher for a 4 day rental and expected us to start the dishwasher before we left. At least provide enough cleaning supplies so people on vacation don't have to shop for everything. The only thing we should have had to take is food and drinks. It was not well furnished. It also didn't have Air Cinditioning in all rooms. Not a place I would rent again. Pics make it look easy better than it was.

Weekend Getaway
Overall this house fit a large group without feeling crowded. The main concern was the inability to use multiple outlets in the kitchen because it would trip the breaker. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with essentials. The hot tub worked well throughout the weekend. The driveway was spacious and fit many cars which was great!

Everything was great, septic might need to be emptied and the jacuzzi needs to be cleaned. Overall I will absolutely rent again

Nice weekend
We had a good time at Snowcap with a group of 10 adults and 9 kids but maybe not the best place for little children. Our 3 yr old spent the first day/night in a hospital with badly burned hand from the glass of the gas fireplace. Would be a good idea to place a sign or warning of some sort about how hot it gets. We Probably should have been more aware of the heat but couldn’t hurt to have a warning. It’s a great house and the outdoor space was great for all our little kids to play. The kitchen felt cramped but overall it was a good stay and a fun weekend

Very nice house
I rented the home for some friends and I to celebrate my birthday. The home was very clean and I loved the double fireplaces, it was really cozy. Hot tub was great as well! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Spacious
Space wise, this is a great property. Our group ranged from 10 months to 68. There was enough space for all 16 of us. We all agreed the house was a perfect size and the location was good but it needs some TLC. The hostess package is the smallest we’ve experienced. With some TLC and a hostess package that is more gracious, this could be a 5 star rental.

Wonderful getaway
The house is very spacious with a lot of entertainment in the basement. We were a group of 14 people and it was perfect. The location is great because it’s next to many vineyards and out door activities. The house itself felt like you never want to leave.

Amazing stay in a great location
The property management time was super responsive to questions I had leading up to the stay. The house is located nearby many activities and stores which was super convenient. We took advantage of the nearby lake views which are just a short walk down the block (great for morning walks!). The house itself was super spacious and perfect for enjoying some good food and good company. All the TVs and devices worked great, and the surround sound system in the house was really convenient and came in handy all weekend. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone coming as a large group!

Great house for get together
We all had a great time. The only thing to note is the house is managed by a property management company, so there was none of that extra touch that you may expect from short term rentals. They made absolutely no attempt to check how we were doing. But it was a nice house!

Everything we needed
Very much enjoyed our stay!! House sleeps 22, we had 10 and that felt like just the right number. There’s a bathroom on each floor which is great too. I would have liked some more blankets.. it was only a sheet and lightweight comforter so it got a little chilly. Sound system was amazing except for the static when it was playing quietly. Hot tub was great, it was just a little difficult because a lot of water came out of it the first night and we have to use buckets to bring the level back up for night two. I wasn’t given any check out instructions so I wasn’t entirely sure what needed to be done before we left, but overall really great stay! Best I’ve ever had with VRBO

This house is nice but thee are some flaws the management could easily fix to make it a 5 star house. First the fridge sheleves were broken and kept falling and the water from the fridge tasted like the filter had never been changed. The TV systems are absolutely horrible. I have never had so much trouble and frustration operating a remote/tv to change inputs/channels. Last, the beds are over 10 years old and everyone from my party complained about their back hurting from the beds. Other than these issues the house is a great place for a big family get together. Fix these things and this house is 5 stars.

We have been renting Pocono Mountain Reality houses since 2007. As our family grows, we move up to a larger house. This one was outstanding. Plenty of room and well designed. We loved the very large deck and we spent a lot of time there. The living room with the two TV's were great for allowing children and adults to watch at the same time. Very large kitchen also. We were very happy that Lake Harmony Estates allowed all 20 of us to use the beach. Bob and the others at Pocono Mountain Reality were very professional and accommodating. We will rent again.

Memorial Day weekend 2018! Had fun filled long weekend with friends and family. Great location, close to lake harmony with beach access for up to 10 people. Mark was just a call away when sliding door lock found broken & fix it on priority. Drawback was not providing basic stuff such as toilet paper and hand soap. Towels and sheet were provide with additional charge. In past our group rented lot of properties for get-together so all were surprised with this things. Overall our experience was good.

We have stayed in this rental home for three years now. The home is lovely and comfortable and spacious. It needs some more kitchen ware though. There is no blender, no hand mixer, or enough bowls for chips etc. I also would like to mention how inappropriate we felt it was that the community security man felt it necessary to stop at our house and tell a group of about 10 men ages 40-50..that at 10:45 pm had to go inside because of a noise ordinance and they were talking too loud. I was there in the house and they were JUST talking, not yelling or being wild or anything, just talking. He wasn’t nice at all about it which I found very inappropriate and unnecessary. We will be rethinking future stays in this community.

The house size and layout was perfect. My only two complaints was the abundance of black flies in the bedrooms on the 3rd floor. You could also see marks on the ceiling and walls from previous people squashing them. In addition the room I stayed in on the 3rd floor had gum on the back of the headboard.
