this is a beautiful hotel nestled away on a small peninsula surrounded by sea on three sides. the quality of the accommodation and service is exceptional - truly a high standard, but avoids the stuffiness of traditional high end hotels. the staff are so nice, friendly and accommodating. we had a fantastic stay and will be back for sure.
if we could find some points to improve (which is difficult) - the food menu is perhaps a little limited for Sunday and Monday - some salad or vegetables would be nice, we didn’t eat any for two days. The provision for kids is also limited, we are lucky and our toddlers liked truffle toasties but in general something simple to offer children to eat is always welcome when travelling as a family.

The location was spectacular, next to the beach. We enjoyed a memorable dinner in the restaurant with excellent service.

We loved the location, the hotel, the restaurant & staff
The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the shower.

The location is good and the chateau imposing. The restaurant was better than the hotel, but not great.
Our room bore no resemblance to anything shown on their website or on Booking. It was in a new annexe overlooking a public beach where teenagers partied until 3am. The noise nuisance was appalling.
Our room wasn't serviced on one of the three days we spent there but no deduction was made from the considerable bill.
The room was cramped and sparsely furnished with hardly any storage space. I had to leave things in a corner in the floor.
There is no parking so you are charged 32 euros for the staff to drive your car off to an unknown destination.
'Tapas' in the bar was so bad as to be funny: a tin of sprats and two pots of shop bought pate. They didn't even undo the pots and the sprats were served in the tin!
At £450 per night this wasn't just bad value, it was outrageous overcharging. Avoid.

Building outside and interior was very comfortable. Staff excellent
Valet parking was not justified. We could have parked our car in car parking area behind hotel and there was no need to charge 12€ for valet parking. Felt cheated. Bedroom very small. Shower difficult to use as water went behind bath.
Inside hotel very comfortable.
No where to lounge outside hotel and just relax in the sun except terrace by bar. But this was a bar area. Restaurant closed on Sunday evening….. why?
Hotel was very expensive and this price was far too much.

This place is incredibly charming. The way they renovated the 19th century castle and the way they decorated it on the inside is extremely well done. We loved our stay here! The staff was amazing and very helpfull in all the senses. The location on the small peninsula, surrounded by water is amazing, with beautiful sunsets in the evening. The room was not too big, but very wel equiped and nicely decorated. The village is a charm as well. We surely come back :)
Breakfast was ok, but could be a bit more special for such a place. The choices were in general a bit basic.

The location first and foremost is perfect ! Beautiful château building overlooking two beaches .

Fantastic location, very attentive staff at reception that could not do more to help with your stay. The hotel has been renovated to a very high standard and as the saying goes you get what you pay for.

Wonderful location, very easy to find. Room was clean and a good size.
Staff were brilliant, always helpful and attentive, friendly and welcoming.
The restaurant was ok, slightly restricted menu in that if you don’t like fish or meat there wasn’t a great deal of choice, although the food was good. The restaurant has that “recently opened” feel and we wondered if the staff were new as they seemed nervous. This wasn’t the case in other areas where the staff were amazing!
