Do not let the past reviews scare you!! We stayed up here for my bachelorette weekend. It was the most PERFECT weekend I could have ever asked for. We were skeptical about the sleeping arrangements but everyone had a bed to sleep in (15 of us). Judd always made sure we had everything we needed! It was quiet and so spacious. We had a fantastic weekend and can not wait to come back!!

This is our second time at this house. We like it so much that we’re going back again next year. Well appointed; had everything we needed. Only bad thing about this place are all the steps up and downstairs. The ages of my friends are making it a little harder on them. But they’re really needed to accommodate so many bedrooms.

A nice stay, quiet with a log cabin feel. Everything worked the way it should and didn’t have any issues with anything. Lots of parking if need be.

Photos of accommodations are from several years ago. Necessary repairs, renovations, painting, staining and deep cleaning are needed. Stocking bathrooms and kitchen of essential items is needed. Safety for children and infants was of concern. This was once a beautiful home with a nice floor plan.

The photos of the property we thought we were renting were taken a long time ago as the home itself both inside and out were in terrible condition. Inside ripped screens and a dishwasher not fastened. Bunk beds missing pieces thus making them unsafe. Dirty refrigerator and the electric fry pan was never washed by a previous guest. Outside so much overgrowth of weeds and brush you could not see out of the lower deck . Fire pit full of ash and rocks and we needed to clean it for an hour before using it. Junk all over side of house kicking up snakes as we walked past. Basement toilet not working properly. Upstairs shower squealing this waking up those still sleeping. Walls had finger prints and patches all over. Tree growing in outside landscaped area. Thistles everywhere trying to get down the steps. Just can’t find any positive words as it was an entire mess. Family together time was the only thing that saved this time away. Very expensive for a very poorly maintained property. We would like the deposit credited Back and half of our stay cost. It was utterly horrible. Rules about AC so We had to text in order to change the setting. Mentioned in text to not leave negative feedback and then how hard it is to get repairs done when there are guests all the time. Just so disappointed in what in what the real situation was. No dock either. Photos show a dock and there isn’t one. Needed to rent slip at Breezy Point. Why show a dock of there isn’t one?

Disappointing is an understatement. This place is in desperate need of repairs. The pictures are from 6 years ago, nothing current. Most pf our family left early due to the filth and hazardous environment. We had to finish the laundry when we arrived that was left in the washer & dryer so we had enough towels. The place is filthy, the walls....not even sure what to say about the walls. Kitchen fridge froze all the produce. The dishwasher is even anchored down, moves around. Shower curtain in the master is dirty, right next to the toilet. And liner is full of yellow slime. At least 3 outlets are missing covers, no safety covers on any of the outlets for children. The dock in the pictures in a public access down the road. The landscape is full of trip hazards with low branches. The upper back deck has several loose railing boards. This rental looks as if it has not had any upkeep since it was purchased. And the water heater is pumping out hot water at 150 degrees, its neglect beyond imagine. The AC ran and squealed 24/7. We were thankful for the safety gate and the high chair. The view was beautiful and they neighbors were nice, I wonder how they feel about the nearly abandoned property. Never would we stay here again.

Great place with fun memories

The property is in need of repair both inside and out. The living room furniture is old and soiled. We left the noisy fans on the entire time because roof leaks were being dried out. The location was good, and the house worked well for a family.

The space was good for our group, but several things we were disappointed with.

Perfect location, slept 11 very comfortably. Kitchen well stocked. It needs a little TLC but it didn’t affect its usefulness or function. We would definitely stay again when golfing in the area.

We had a great time with family

Our family of 11 (ages 11-74) truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for all of us ~ plenty of space and we joked that everything we wanted to do was only ‘12 minutes away’ 😊 Great location for having fun around Pequot Lakes!

Our stay was amazing! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating! We will definitely stay again and let others know about this great cabin!

Place was really nice, short drive from the golf course and beautiful view.

The house was very spacious and it definitely provided the room we needed for our group. The house however was not overly clean. Upon arriving, several of the beds were not neatly made. They looked like they had been already slept in and the covers just pulled over. After thoroughly inspecting, it seemed that the bedding was clean, just poorly made for guest arrival. Most every surface was dusty and there were many cobwebs throughout. It seemed also that there must have been several water leaks in the house at some point. The house has potential but needs some consistent deep cleaning and TLC.

Location was nice, given we were one house back from the lake. We had a view of the lake, and being winter the trees added to the lakeside view. You of course do see the home on the lakeshore, but this house is on a hill above it. It was so much nicer then all of us staying at a hotel.

My wife has wanted a "Hallmark Christmas" you know a beautiful cabin in the woods with awesome views, a fireplace to enjoy, and plenty of room so our whole family could come and spend some time together during the holidays and enjoy having a large area to entertain but also their own bedrooms for privacy. Well this place sure fits that description, the house and location are great, Judd is awesome to work with, and the local towns are close enough to go enjoy some local shopping or to pick up some quick supplies. We had a great holiday and so many memories around this beautiful cabin in the woods. This is an awesome place and one we will surely try to visit again. Thank you

We checked in on Friday. Plenty of room for hubby and I with our grown kids and their partners, my parents and the youngest child who is 16. We were able to spread out and come together! Cards and meals, music and laughter. The cabin was clean and comfy. Easy to check in and out. We would definitely stay again and do recommend this for other family gatherings.

We had a great experience! The family room and kitchen is very spacious which gave our large group the opportunity to all be together. Everyone had their own bed which was super nice and everyone said their beds were comfortable! The morning sunrise over the lake was beautiful

The property is very spacious! There was 14 of us…from 78 to 2!! Good location to do things. Property outside was in need of repairs and matenence. Landscaping and decks are in terrible shape…not sure they are even safe. The grill was filthy!

Nice place with great location - close to many great golf courses. Well appointed kitchen. Had a great time.

We had a great time staying here for our conference, the owner was extremely communicative and we enjoyed the home. Very large and spacious with plenty of room to roam. Some small improvements could be made (pool ques, chalk, etc.) but nothing that affected our rating! Would stay again

After staying at several other locations, both private and associated with Breezy resorts, it was time for a cleaner option. We hit the jackpot with this property. It was everything we wanted and as advertised. Clean, roomy and comfortable. Manager was very attentive to our needs. We loved it. (8 retired women golfers/friends).

Nice place for the price. Judd was great. Only downside was the hot water heater didn’t work when we first got there, but Judd was prompt in walking me through how to fix it. Otherwise great stay.

The house fit out needs well!

Great property for our annual golf trip. Only a couple minutes from Deacon’s Lodge clubhouse. Plenty of space, and a nice deck to enjoy the view of Pelican Lake. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Nice big cabin!

Property is very spacious. Great Set Up. Clean inside. Outside definitely needs some attention.

The inside space worked well for my family of 11. The location is convenient. The yard is in tough shape and a couple of the mattresses are in bad shape.
